Second time I come to pick up my prescription. I can understand being short staffed and having busy days being that I work in healthcare. But the attitudes here need A TON of improvement. Staff is very blunt and have condescending demeanors. I almost feel as if I can't ask questions or if I do, they'll look at me as though I don't know what I'm talking about. After this, I'll probably considering checking out Walgreens or finding another pharmacy because wow I really don't wanna come here again to pick up my prescription anymore. read more

Been trying to get my Mother's Pain Medicine for over a week now. It's difficult enough to get, that I usually scan it ahead of time to give them time to fill it. The first attempt took phone calls, and going in person. The first phone call, the phone was picked up, and then hung up. 2nd phone call went through. Went in person, as the drive through was not working. Was told she could have a partial refill, and to call later in the week/weekend to receive the rest. Called that weekend, they did not have it in stock, was told to call back Monday. Called back today(Monday), now it's back ordered. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Now my Mom is totally out of her medicine, with no timeline for more. We'll be switching to a different pharmacy, even though Rite Aid is less than a block away. read more

Ran in really quick while visiting my parents and had to stop by for my go to lashes. The lash section was kind of bare boned and didnt have my lashes but I was able to find a pair that i could make work. I got up to the register, line was short just one customer ahead of us. When it was my turn the cashier asked "are these the lashes you want?" I shrugged my shoulders and told her those were fine. Thats when she went above & beyond and told me they keep more behind the registers, (im sure you can imagine why) I gasped lol. She pulls out 2 boxes with mixed lashes handed me a box and asked me what kind I like. I let her know and she pulled them right out the box she had in her hand! After I paid i was still in aw with her service I had to go back in & ask her name. Thank you Jenn for the great customer service!! read more

This was once one of the best pharmacies in inland Mendocino County, but there has been a massive shift that has had a profoundly negative effect on clientele. Phones are not answered, staff are short with customers, and efficiency has gone out the window. Where did Maria and Cody go? Were they the staff who maintained a sense of calm efficiency and compassion for customers? Current staff won't bill insurance properly, and claim insurance has denied when the problem is their refusal to follow proper channels to bill the insurance. Cody and Maria, your smiling faces and efficient work are missed. We are leaving Ukiah Rite Aid Pharmacy for another that is willing to bill our insurance. read more

Pharmacy is far from the way it used to be. If u call in the pharmacist says you're 6 in line on hold. Then he will not pick up. So I came to the store. Not one person was on the phone. Shameful behavior. That is not customer service. Avoiding customers. Took me over an hour to pick up meds. Also please get some techs that really work. Very slow. Nothing ever goes Rite at Rite Aid! I'm sure it's fine as a convenience store, but it's been years since it's been a functional pharmacy. It's probably dysfunction at the corporate level, but it's always understaffed, communication poor, every transaction unnecessarily complicated. For example I made an appointment for a flu shot, arrived, and was told "you're not in the system." And then told they're sorry, they can't help me, because there were only two people working. 1) If you purchase a medicine at this store and it is surprisingly disounted i recommend: before leaving the store, ttake off the outer plastic seal, tke off the cap, check to see that the foil or paper seal is intact,. If there is a line for peope at the counter for anything, you are in that same line and not given any priority even you are waiting 30 minutes AFTER your appointment time. You are in the same line. There are few chairs for elderly or disabled folks to wait in. Cannot recommend getting vaccine at this pharmacy but maybe they are all like this. 3) In general, staff are rude and unhelpful. read more

This place is the worst NEVER EVER GO HERE. I took my daughter and son so they could get an ice cream as a treat for doing well in school. My son is 14 and my daughter 6. when we entered my son and I saw a little shelf with small bottles of alcohol. He thought they were funny and started laughing and he grabbed it and gave it to me so I could look at it. Then this old Lady came out of no where and shouted out to my son " Don't touch that or look at it". Also she said that if he was old enough. So my son went out the store and did not want ice cream because he felt bad he felt sad and now his whole day is ruined he was happy cheerful and making jokes and all but after this his whole night was ruined. I got a little upset because I can't cover his eyes also I was wondering if she was a bit blind because she knew he was a minor, and my son is not interested in alcohol he only thought they were funny. So if any of you have children and want an ice cream don't take them there they might see alcohol and get in trouble because their looking at it I recommend the gelato store between round table and the court they have amazing ice creams, coffees as well as many other things. just try to avoid this rite aid also if you can change pharmacy's change to walgreens better staff and nicer! read more

My mom suffers with multiple chronic issues and gets all her 15 medications here! This month she was confused about dates ect about her medication because there was 28 days last month and she got her meds a day early because we had to go to Mexico for my mother in laws death. and she thought that she took them so she went to get her filled and they explained to her the dates and what not and then I had to explain to her again.. I got her home and went threw her meds and the extra days where there in her pill box! every since she's been put on a certain med her memory is just not grate. Well this morning I went up at 9 to get her meds and the lady was very rude and said they will be ready in a hr I explained that I come all the way from Cloverdale because my mom can't walk and has no rides and the lady was very rude and said I can't force my pharmacist to hurry!! For one I did not ask her to do that I just told her that I come from Cloverdale and have to get back to work! They have Been very rude because I think they are thinking bad about my mother when none of this misunderstanding was nor their fault or hers she just miss placed her meds!! And has had memory issues My mom has been a very loyal customer even when they almost killed her and gave her aderual told her it was her pain meds I told my mom you need to change pharmacy's but my mom has such an amazing heart she won't because there are 2 people that work there kody and a other pharmacist that she loves.. but as for me I will not deal with people being rude when all I'm doing is trying to caregiver for my mother..... read more

Give Catrice a raise! She's the best! When I called to striaighten out a pre-authorization SNAFU, she remembered my name from 2 weeks ago. She cheerfully answered my questions and helped me figure out what to do. The other pharmacy assistants at Rite Aid are helpful and professional too.
