Okay now this walmart is something else. A lot of stuff was not in stock as I went down various aisles to empty shelves. It is super packed and the customer service is not the greatest with an exception of the girl working at the pick up counter where I went to get my stuff. I need to mention that they also had some young boys working back there with their masks on but off their mouths and noses. Seems they do it cause no is around to say other wise. No bueno. I go to self checkout and they have no bags! What the heck! It is walmart so not too much can be expected but what I didnt think was cool was seeing 3 managers joking by self service when they should be checking on their employees and making sure they are keeping the public safe in compliance with the orders at this pandemic times. read more

This extremely busy Walmart on Normandie is in a seemingly industrial area. Parking is crowded and all spaces regular or handicapped anywhere near the door are taken. If you are willing to hike in it works. The store is an ok stop but so hard to shop. So many basics are locked up. You have to find someone to open a case and then they stand there while you browse your size, color etc. (The worker doesn't want to do it and I don't blame them but I don't like being rushed to buy or have it locked up again.) Next you have to hand the worker your item and they lock it in a box. You take the box to a cashier so no self check. The cashier opens it and you buy it. Some thirty dollar items not locked up but some under $10 items under lock and key. The process takes so long. For law following shoppers it is not pleasant. It is a sign of the times I suppose but disheartening. I may go a city over or two to peruse the items without such tight restrictions read more

This is every stereotypical Walmart I've ever heard of. Parking is a mess, people drive fast even between parking aisles, and inside the store, people are everywhere, have no sense of space between other customers, and it's loud for no reason. There are several aisles that are a huge mess and I know that this isn't the fault of the employees because I see them working hard, but the customers here are so rude. Eating snacks in the snack aisle the havent bought yet, or breaking safety seals on items just to see what it smells like but don't even buy the product. I understand why they have many cabinets and items that are locked before purchase. In recent years, it's gotten a lot better, but still messy. I also wish they could do something about people who solicit "charities" and suspicious activity in the parking lots. The security guards in the store and the ones that roam the parking lot are the only ones I see who don't do anything. They just sit in their truck on the phone doing nothing. This review is for Walmart Tire Center. I wanted to purchase some cost effective tires for my car. I found some Goodyear tires through the Walmart website. REALLY GOOD PRICING so I thought I'll get them delivered to this location and have them installed there. I had an appointment set for 12pm arrived 30 minutes early. I got checked in at 12 pm ( the person checking me in was pleasant and helpful) but the service took an UNREASONABLY LONG TIME (2 hours and 30 minutes) if I had known this piece of information I would've opted to purchasing the tires only and getting them installed elsewhere. Would I purchase tires from here again? YES Would I get them installed her again? Absolutely not. It just takes way to long. read more

I have NEVER been at this Walmart before tonight and I will NEVER come back. This is the WORST Walmart I have ever gone to. The teenage workers are UNPROFESSIONAL , RUDE, and LAZY! I was online and noted that the new PS5 headphones were only sold in the store. This was the only store in my area that had them, they only had 4 left. I get in my car and drive to this store. I walk to the electrics department and there are five teenage employees all wearing their vests standing at the counter (two behind and three in front). They all looking at something on one of their phone. There were no other customers around. I said excuse me and I got two female teenagers rolling their eyes at me and two turn their backs and walk away without any acknowledgment. I held up the picture of the headphone on my phone and said where can I find this? The one male teenager who was left said "We don't have the PS5 yet! I said it isn't the PS5 system it's the headphones it says you have four left. He rudely said "We don't have it! He looked at one of the females and said "I'm going to lunch!" He walked away. I told one of the girls, I know the PS5 system isn't out until Thursday. I was just trying to buy this accessory it said you have four left. Can anyone please check? I received another eye roll and the girl said "He said we don't have it!" I asked for a manager and she sucked her teeth and called out the name of a "lead." An older young lady came over and the girl told her "I told her we don't have any more! " The girl walked away. I told the "lead" (I couldn't see her name tag) look I was online and it said that I could only purchase this in the store and it said you had four left. No one bothered to look and see and I was rudely dismissed by some disrespectful teenagers who have no clue what CUSTOMER SERVICE is! She told me, "the items online are never up to date, if they say we don't have it then we don't! I said, I understand that but all I got was attitude from these young people and no one tried to assist me. She said they work here and they know what we have in stock. WOW! This just happened to me. Please do better, I left in tears. I think this location should either make sure they go and attend customers waiting for the stuff that's locked up, or don't provide that stuff here if it's going to be this hard for the guest & employees. I went in for a baby bottle. Waited, pushed the button, and it kept on getting announced. I saw people moving around busy, and no one ever came to me. Employees that did see me turned away when I attempted to flag them down. Not one person, finally when I went up to someone. Another young lady came to me. She said she would help, now I'm walking while I hear her say "what do you need?" I turned around and she's gone. I needed to show her the bottle. I had told that to the other lady. I go to a cashier, I get told that she can't help me to go to customer service. Okay fine, I'm close to tears at this point. I just came to get a bottle to feed my baby. Her father didn't give me her bottle this morning. So I go and ask for help again. The associate informs me that she can't help me. She can just announce it. I tell her I have waited long already, and no one has came to me. I ask her to just have someone get it. Another associate interrupted to get her out of where she was to another cashier. Says she will get someone there. Yet again, can't do anything but announce it. Says that she needs to get someone with keys there. I am pretty sure I saw a bunch of keys on her & she looks more polished than the rest. But no doesn't help me, taunts me on the way out. When I inform her that multiple people ignored me. Says "I'm sorry!" In a very condescending way. Instead of taking the time to help me. I get it! It's busy, I can wait. But get someone there, don't just keep putting it onto someone else. I went in to purchase a bike yesterday. I rang the buzzer light in the back for 10 minutes and nobody came to assist me. 2 Walmart employees walked by and I asked them for assistance and both told me they didn't have keys and kept going without offering to find someone who did have keys. We left our shopping cart there and went somewhere else not affiliated with Walmart and made our purchases there. Cheryl in the automotive department is rude and disrespectful. I was in front of the oil change line sitting there today at 1:00 pm. Cheryl and a couple of other workers saw me sitting there and never bothered to acknowledge me anyway. I figured I was on the wrong side of the building, so I drove around to the other side. Under the car was somebody working on one car and Cheryl doing something on a computer, again looked at me several times and never acknowledged me, (there was another worker in the the bay next to it working with another vehicle so I wouldn't have expected anything from him. The end bay was another guy in and out of a car with a tablet and not paying attention to his surroundings. I tried to get his attention by yelling to him, but since he didn't answer, I am going to say he either could hear me or was ignoring everything that didn't pertain to him.) Finally, at 1:30 Anthony came over to talk to me. At that time, he said they had a 4 hour wait to get an express oil change. I left and will not come back to that automotive department again. Rarely go in the store cause it's way to much going on in there anytime of day. I do curbside pick up which makes it's much easier. Unfortunately the last 3 times has been like pulling teeth. There is no consistency nor organization for pick up. They have 4 lanes designated for you to pull in but lately it's been an overflow so cars are everywhere. Today I pulled in and it was backed up with about 9-10 cars waiting and no person in sight to pull orders. When you call the number to let them know you are there it just rang and rang and finally going to a voice mail. So I decided to call the store and ask for a supervisor and no one answered that line either. Beyond frustrated that I waited for like 20 mins and no one came out nor answered the phone. Associate Robert Williams = 5 Stars Had a pleasant experience at Walmart this afternoon that was worth noting. Two (2) other Walmarts are less than one-mile from my home. But, neither of them had in stock what I was looking for. My online search said this location did. I figured I'd give this store a try, for the 1st time. Was looking for a 'Mainstays 17 gal. bucket with rope handles' to go with a 'Homz Soft-sided Rope Tub Cooler Cover' that I already had. As I walked in, I received a warm 'Welcome' greeting. Where in this huge 'Super-Store' would the item be? I went straight to the 'Sporting Goods' section. Wrong choice. But, my luck changed when I saw Robert stocking shelves nearby. I described what I needed and he checked on his portable, hand-held inventory device. (Other employees might not have been this helpful and just sent me away on a wild goose chase.) Robert found the item on his gadget and it told him which 'dept./aisle' it was kept. Rather than just giving me this info or alternatively, just point in the general direction, he offered to escort me there. At the 'Housewares Dept.', Robert found the buckets stacked on top of the highest shelf. He went to retrieve a step ladder to bring them down for me and promptly returned. I also want to mention that while I was waiting for Robert's return, I chatted with another employee (a young lady who was sweeping up debris off the floor nearby). I jokingly said, her broom handle might've come in handy to try and bring down the 'stacked 17 gal. buckets' by myself. Without me saying another word, she recognized that a customer wanted something that was difficult to reach. She also went looking for a 'step ladder' and returned with it a few seconds after Robert had. (I apologize to the young lady for not knowing her name.) I paid for my item via the 'Self-Checkout'. Had a short, but pleasant chat with another Associate (about customers who shouldn't be bringing inside the store their 'non-service dogs'). As I was exiting the store, another kind Associate thanked me for shopping at Walmart. It has been my experience that when a Sr. Mgr. of any business is kind and professional, they set the bar as a positive role model for the staff to follow. Ok I try to avoid walmart unless I really need something. Despite the fact that its huge, the bright lights give me a headache and the noise from the customers cause anxiety. So I usually bring headphones and a list of what to get so its a quick and easy shopping experience. But then you have to wait 20 minutes for deoderant due to theft. I dont blame the store for this as this location already does everything they can to prevent theft. I blame the theives and other customers who think its ok to grab 20+ items and then leave them at a random location and contributing to the mess previous yelpers have mentioned. But a tip to cut your trip in half is if you have 5 items or less and bough things from either the bath, body or cosmetics section then you can check out at the cosmetics section and then off you go. If you decide to come here, try to come early, bring a list of what you need, and good luck. read more

This is Tuesday, June 25, 2024 I am leaving Walmart located on Normandy and 190th I believe. I just witnessed the most disgusting thing that anyone should ever have to witness! Since Walmart allows dogs and I mean large dogs to come into their store it is absolutely unsanitary here. I just witnessed a big old dog, relieving himself on the floor in Walmart . And at the McDonald's store within the Walmart there is a big dog on a leash! Where will this end? We should not be forced to shop in an unsanitary store and for those of us who are allergic to animals it's almost impossible to shop in the store. Staff members shared with me that people put their dogs in the baskets also. I believe him because I've seen it happened at a smaller Walmart neighborhood market. Sign should be posted on the door that dogs are not allowed unless they have a license for a dog to accompany them. And this sign should be large, not small sign down in the corner of the door , I won't be coming back to this Walmart and I plan to contact the corporate office, not that it will do any good because nobody cares anymore. I always shop in store or online for the last few months on a weekly basis. Friendly staff at check out. Nicole helped me with a return for toys. She was very polite and professional. I really appreciate how swiftly she came to the front of the store because the other employee informed me she couldn't help me with the return since I didn't have the boxes it came in. Because she needed the upc even after I showed her my online receipt which provides the upc and a photo of the item. She told me to go hunt it down myself in the store which I didn't understand because I purchased the two items online and had not idea where they would be in store. Thankfully Nicole came to my rescue and provided amazing customer service. I really appreciate because I had my son with me who is globally delayed and that's why I mostly do online orders. He was becoming agitated after waiting. Now that I know the stores policy I will be saving all boxes to avoid that situation again. read more

TLDR at the bottom. 1) I went to the store yesterday because the app told me the Torrance location had the item I'm looking for in stock. I went, waited in the long line at the electronics, and when I let the young lady know what I wanted, she said there is none left in stock, and that was that. There was a long line so she went to help them out, but she didn't ask the back to check or bother to check the website. That was annoying. 2) I ordered online and of course, it's in stock. It was ready for curbside pickup. I arrived, parked, checked in, let the app know what space I was parked in, and waited. A few minutes later, I get an email saying pickup was successful. What pickup? I was in my car and no one came near me. I went into the store. So much for curbside pickup. 3) EMPLOYEE SEEMS NOT TO KNOW WHERE PICK UP IS. The employee at the exit tells me that if it's a large item, I have to drive to the BACK OF WALMART and pick it up there. I told him it's a small monitor, and he told me to go to electronics for that. So there are two different places for curbside pick, and they both don't involve curbside? 4) I waited in a smaller line to talk to the older employee at the electronics. He lets me know that it is probably in the area of sporting goods. Why. Are. There. So. Many. Places. To. Go. To. 5) Trying to pickup my item at the Sporting Goods area takes FOREVER. I waited 5 minutes before a gentleman came out and I had to look at him in the eyes before he asked if I had been helped. He was a good kid, but my god, the lack of available help is NOT ACCEPTABLE. 6) The app has an annoying glitch it seems. On an item, it'll say "Free pickup, today at (Name)". I click the name because I want a different location. It shows everyone at Walmart near me at the time has In-Store Pickup. I assumed this meant my item was there. When I arrived (Santa Fe Springs location), I was furious to see it wasn't. Apparently, the app just lets me know the store does in-store pickup on the previously mentioned page. WALMART, NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT INFORMATION. All Walmart should have that option, I don't need the app to tell me that. What it should've told me was if the item is in stock or not. 7) As I typed this out on the desktop, I clicked on a different window and came back to this to finish up the review. IT RESET EVERYTHING. 8) Ofc when I try to send this feedback to the Walmart website, there's a technical issue. OF COURSE. TLDR: Curbside pickup is not curbside pickup. I hate to leave a one star review but unfortunately this Walmart has definitely deserved it. I do not even know where to start with this place. First off the parking lot is an absolute disaster. You can never find any of the cards that you need. Anytime you walk into the store they are never any cards. The staff at the location tell you you need to go to the parking lot and find your own cart. Well what if it is raining outside. Do you want me to go into the rain in Rome around your parking lot trying to find a dirty cart. Are you serious! I have my baby with me and that is completely unacceptable. Then when you go into the location nothing you were looking for can never be found. Nothing is in the right place. The floors are super dirty and super sticky. The wall seem to have some sort of a substance on them. The clothes that are on the rack seem like they've been touched by 1 million people. You say fingerprints and dirt marks and everything on the clothing The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I would never use the bathroom inside the location. It smells like urine. The staff seems like they do not even care. The only good thing about this Walmart location as they do have really good deals on canned goods. Visited the day aftet Christmas , looking for good deals on Christmas Storage bins. There were PLENTY to choose from in the Christmas Merchandise section. We settled on three types, including four large containers on wheels. Lines were long at all the cash registers, so we decided to try the "Self Checkout" area. It was a bit difficult to navigate through this process with so many storage bins. Much to our dismay,NONE of the bins were ringing up at the 50 % discount. Luckily, there was someone there to assist us. Eventually, all of the discounts were applied, at a $80.00 savings. We were extremely pleased that Walmart honored the discount. While there, I visited the restroom at the back of the store. This restroom was very clean. I was impressed with this Walmart. All sales associates were very helpful read more

The absolute worst Walmart I've ever been to. Speaking here specifically to the Auto Center. First, their hours are incorrect on the website. It says 7am-7pm online but they open here 8am-5pm (which you wouldn't know until you arrive). Despite this, the garage (which is supposed to be open at 8am, per their own hours) didn't start setting up and opening their doors until 8:17 with no sense of urgency. Beyond these discrepancies, the quality of service is poor. No estimated wait times. I came in for an oil change a few days ago only to discover that I've been leaking oil ever since! What a shame. Never returning and I advise you all to go elsewhere. Update: as of 8:44am, no mechanic is on site. I was told wait can be another 15 mins, 30 mins, or an hour. That they don't know. I'm leaving.
