G1 Soundwave reissue ($50) (Walmart exclusive!)
    James I.

Pros: This is one of the better Wal-marts in North Tampa for getting Marvel Legends and Transformers. Of the Wal-marts I check out, they were the first to have SIEGE Transformers Wave 3 and 4, the G1 Soundwave/cassette reissues, and the 80th anniversary ML figures. Decent customer service. Cons It is not a supercenter so the fresh produce is limited There are relatively few checkout lanes/ The bathroom is squinched into the customer service area.

    Wrong price at register

Worst laid out store ever Bought 8 items and FOUR of the items rang up way more than the shelf price... If I wasn't paying attention I would have paid $5 more for these items Customer service says prices rising faster than they can change the tags...not a customers issue Plus side all employees I encountered were pleasant.

Soooo many boxes in the way I couldn't get to many of the items I needed.

Ok if I need cleaning supplies. Produce is never very fresh. I'd rather pay more and get quality. To many cheaply made products.

The DSW motto is "Designer Shoes. Warehouse Prices." The first location opened in Dublin, Ohio in 1991. With 400+ locations across the U.S. & Puerto Rico, this company must be doing something right! Curbside contact-less pickup is offered, as well as ordering online for pick up @ the store. This is a large warehouse that is open seven days a week. Once you walk through the door, accessories (purses, backpacks, & handbags, etc.) are to your right. Kids's footwear also occupy the right side. The entire back wall contains tall racks of Clearance shoes, w/ each rack labeled by size. If it's Men's shoes, boots, sneakers or sandals that you want, the Men's section is to the far left upon entry, while the very large Women's footwear section is directly in front of patrons as they walk thru the door. With SO MANY brands; styles; wide aisles; & decent prices, it will be difficult not to enjoy your visit. While we were there, a member of management was on the sales floor working & answering customer questions. She was very helpful. At the register (or online), you'll be asked if you wish to register for the Rewards program. I did, & saved $5 on my purchase w/ an additional $20 savings on a future purchase. Ground shipping is always free for Reward members. Earn 1 point w/ each dollar you spend; you'll get a $5 reward for every $100/100 points. You'll also receive a $5 coupon on your birthday. (There are additional incentives for joining the Rewards program.) I'll definitely return. DSW offers an stellar variety of footwear in a CLEAN & WELL-ORGANIZED environment. I asked if an online promotion could be honored in-store, and while I completely understand if store policy says no, the interaction felt dismissive, especially after watching another customer receive a discount from a different associate just a few feet away. Hopefully this was just an off day and Dori gets a quick refresher on customer service, because DSW is usually one of my favorite places to shop. This particular location has a large self checkout area next to the regular checkout lanes (most of which are closed and not manned). There is also a large covered car drive uyp pickup area. Inside, there is a Starbucks, an eyeglass store, and a small self checkout market that sells snacks and drinks. This partilcular store has a large grocery and bakery section which offer decent selection. One issue is that the shelves are sometimes not stocked well so you'll run into issues there occasionally. We generally leverage this Target to do pickup orders since its convenient to order on the app and pickup in the drive up area. One thing that still bothewrs me about that is there isn't an easy way to check your purchase before you leave. I've only run into an issue once and Target addressed it, but I guess it's part of the cost of convenience. Overall, outside of spending too much money at Target, I can't say too much good or bad. It fills our needs and will probably fill yours too.

I specifically asked her to confirm the amount on the receipt she was holding, and she told me it was correct. After she processed the return, I asked for the original receipt she did not give back to me and noticed the refund was short by $5. Instead of clarifying, she insisted the entire purchase had been refunded, but she couldn't explain the missing $5. When I reminded her that I had asked her to verify the receipt total, she denied saying it was $35 and instead claimed she asked if I wanted the refund back on my card -- which was not true. At that point, she walked away and called a manager without even explaining the issue to them. The manager arrived, and I had to re-explain everything myself. Not only did the manager fail to acknowledge the situation or apologize for the misinformation, but she also questioned my reason for a return-- which was irrelevant. It felt dismissive, as though I was wasting her time, rather than her focusing on solving the refund discrepancy. So unless it's self check out, not recommending this store or the people who work there.

The store is clean and is basically divided into halves with men's clothes/items one side and women's clothes on the other with shoes, bedding towards the rear. I have visited this branch more often with my mom since the one in Tampa Palms City Plaza closed down. Since I am a single heterosexual man, I can not clam to be a clothing maestro. However, they have a wide selection of brand names and regular brands and many of the items look nice and are in good condition compared to Ross which always looks like a Category 3 hurricane swept through there. Last Christmas, my cousin from Canada came with me and she was awestruck by the prices and quality. They have those "MK- (Mortal Kombat purses) for prices in the $175-200 range.I believe those are usually in the $250 range. While the men's section does have a good range of products, they don't get me excited as much as items from JC Penney and Kohl's. So I usually find a spot to kill time while others shop. The lines are very long sometimes on weekends, but the cashiers are usually nice. If you want to open a Stein Mart card, the application is long and they send you a plethora of emails. FYI. We have three young children (ages 1, 3, and 6), and they have always been taught to purchase before opening any items. They do not open merchandise to take or steal it. I told the manager that if they could show me video footage proving one of my children opened the packages, I would gladly pay for the damaged items. Instead, I was told that "corporate called" and identified our children, but they refused to show any video or explain which child they were referring to. They continued to accuse us without providing any evidence. They also was unsure if it was our kids did it or not as they confirmed there were opened item before my kids walk pass the aisle. Being accused of something like this, especially involving young children, was upsetting and embarrassing. If a store is going to make such a serious accusation, they should be willing to support it with clear evidence instead of expecting customers to accept it without question. My 3 and 6 years old said they did saw the opened items, but they did not opened it. I hope Daiso reviews how situations like this are handled. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and accusations should be based on facts, not assumptions.
