This is one of the few area Walmarts that seems to actually have their staffing squared away. Rarely are there excessively long checkout lines, that are present at other Walmarts in the area (Not because of high #'s of shoppers, but because they refuse to adequately staff the checkout lanes). Would be nice to have both self-checkout areas open even in the mornings, which is rarely the case. Customer Service is usually quick/helpful as well. Star reduction due to inventory levels very often being wrong. read more

My husband and I picked up the lemon pepper rotisserie chicken last night, it smelled so good! The label said it was fully cooked so we figured it'll be a nice quick dinner option. When we got home and warmed it up for 10minutes in the oven, the chicken wasn't even cooked inside! It was still bloody inside, it was disappointing because we had to bake it for another 40 minutes after that before we could eat. Please do better read more

Twice in the last week and a half, I have had to cancel my delivery orders due to them not having a driver to deliver. I have posted here before, back in February 2021 about the same thing! The only reason that I felt I had to shop at Walmart was for certain items that Aldi and Tops do not have. Well, never again! Nobody answered the phone lines at this location. So if you have any question that would easily be answered quickly by calling you're out of luck and will have to waste your time going into the store physically. I just needed to verify if the customer service desk would be open at 7am or not since store hours are listed as opening at 6am. I called near 7am to be sure. Many out of stock items, and many items in stock that are very close to expiring (saw milk expiring within 3 days and salad expiring within 1 day if I recall correctly). Several self-checkouts closed for seemingly no reason. No bags seemingly anywhere in self checkout, not even reusable ones. Incredibly difficult to track down someone for assistance, even in the areas with locked cabinets requiring an associate to unlock them (which are pointless, seeing as they just hand you the item sometimes after opening it and don't require you to check out with them). Terrible carts, many squeaky, veering off to the side, stuck inside of other carts, or hard to push. In-stock items that are obviously tampered with and seemingly not cared about by associates. Annoying receipt checkers and no support for any tap to pay, something that sets them apart from basically every other store. read more

it's Walmart, though I've gone to this one day after day and see the same empty beverage cans on the shelves that the missus and I make it into a scavenger hunt. it was fun but seeing the SAME cans really paints a picture of how this place is managed and cleaned. 11 minutes 42 seconds it took to get someone to the pharmacy for contraceptives, scan and go as the only checkout, empty cans and looking trashier by the day. supercenter? more like super sad, tighten it up and get your store in better shape. The only places I've seen contraceptives locked up were in locations deemed "Ghetto" and of low quality, so that screams what this location is. read more

This review is for their pharmacy. My mom was diagnosed with Covid this past Sunday and her prescriptions were sent to her pharmacy of choice, which is Walmart. This is the first time I've been inside a Walmart in years, but she couldn't get her own meds, so the job became mine. I have to say, I was pretty happy overall with my experience at the Walmart pharmacy. In addition to the medicine, Mom asked me to pick up a couple of small grocery items and another pharmacy item or two. The associate who worked behind the counter was happy to check me out for all my items. She called the pharmacist over to answer my questions. He was great about giving me all the instructions on how to take the meds. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that my mom has some issues with GERD. The antibiotic she was prescribed has a pretty well-known side effect of heartburn. Now, had her regular doctor prescribed this to her and not the online doctor she ended up seeing on a Sunday night, this wouldn't have happened. But I was kind of surprised the pharmacy didn't catch that either since Mom has a prescription for Omeprazole. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the service I received and with the ease of the transaction. read more

I will say this is one of the better organized, and clean Walmarts in the area. I strongly suggest you avoid this store, in the beginning of the month and the middle. It gets extremely crowded and the lines are excessively long. It seems this Walmart, is encouraging people to use the self checkouts more. I put the Walmart tanning lotion on my skin and I get the Hos again. Pretty simple formula really. Although I hope I'm not trapped down a well. Otherwise wouldn't this be Wellmart? I've had so many crazy stories at this Walmart lately that it's too much. I also bump into people I know here all the time which can be annoying. Hi to everybody I know and sorry that I said that. I guess one of the big problems with this Walmart are some of the people working here. There is one woman on the front end that is a nightmare. And there's a cool kid checking people out but recently he had 3 people messing with him and holding up the line on purpose. About 10 of us in line, and we all just waited about 15 minutes to get checked out because of these people who kept canceling their order and then redoing it just for sh**s and giggles. Closing the self service checkout when there's only one actual check out an hour before midnight every night and then having people have line up endlessly during that time is ridiculous. Then there was the new low. Recently they would not sell me bananas. They literally only had single bananas on the shelves and they would not sell them because the computer couldn't handle them. Instead of finding a way around it or just giving them away, they only went and took my bananas off me and said we cannot sell these to you. And there was the other time when I use $100 bill in the machine because they told me that I could. Then it wouldn't give me the $70 plus in change so I spent about half an hour waiting for them to get me change because the manager for some reason wasn't in the store or responding to the intercom. Then there was a time I got yelled at for not using the scanner properly when the scanner was just broken. And then there was a time that I use a $20 bill in the machine and again waited ages for my change because there was no manager around and the Machine didn't actually give me the change properly. And there is the fact that the machines will not use my card as credit even when I select credit and always make me use it as debit which I do not do. Then you add all these facts together and really, I have to give it one star - but I'm still going to bump it up because I come here all the time and they almost always have stuff I need so it's kind of vital in my life and I'm embarrassed to say that. read more

This location is better than others - and has more of test products than other stores - it's Wal-Mart though - I have a love/hate relationship with them, always have - love the prices, hate going to the store. They do have things at this store that other locations don't have so I'd suggest going to this one, plus it's larger than most so the isles aren't as crowded. I do like being able to self-checkout so I can get out of there as quickly as possible. read more

Purchased tires from Walmart. Great price. Would like to make a glowing review, and probably not the tech's that work there's fault, but they advertise 7am-7pm service however are understaffed and only open 7-330. Not a huge deal except i have a flat tire, their warranty only allows service at walmart, and would prefer to not have to take off work to go there and have it serviced during their advertised hours. Other departments at walmart are clueless as to what's going on and it seems to be hit or miss as to whether i can reach anyone. Going forward, will spend the bit of extra money, buy elswhere, and not have to hope and pray that there will be someone available. read more

I love shopping at any Wal-mart! I was out looking for a cookie cake for my son birthday! Found my cake and checked out within 5 minutes. I was happy to go in find what I needed and check right out. Usual when I go to my local Walmart I have to wait for like 30 to 40 minutes just to purchase a few items. This Wal-Mart was the closest one at the time. It's located in a huge shopping plaza. I have to say, I try to find the best about visiting businesses but this trip to Walmart was another in a string of disappointments. This Walmart store has been going down hill for months now. The shelves seem to be always empty and when you ask someone why their website clearly states that the store I'm in has something in stock, the employees always come back with the same company line "the website is wrong, we don't have any here". It has been very frustrating shopping at this Walmart location. If walmart.com didn't require a minimum purchase to get free shipping, I would buy what I need online and never step in this Walmart store ever again. This is an average Walmart, and I don't go here often, but I did want to mention that the customer service is really hit or miss here. The first time my husband and I went to this Walmart, one of the employees was following us around and made sure we checked out EVERY SINGLE item we had in our cart. (Honestly, it was very uncomfortable and a bit offensive). I recently tried WalMart pick-up for the first time, at this Transit Clarence/Williamsville location. WOW, what have I been waiting for to use the pick-up service! Here is why I'm pleased: ** I needed to get a Walmart run in for a sizable haul for the fam', but time was not on my side. I went to the website, and was luckily able to snag a pick-up reservation for later the same night. ** When you grab a reservation, you have one hour to get everything into your online basket, and finish your transaction. Shopping online was very easy. I was able to find all of my usual Walmart groceries and household supplies without issue well within the hour. ** Our daughter is vegetarian-gone-newly-vegan, and I was even able to search "vegan" and find some new things, including a "meat" lovers pizza! :-) ** Later that day, I received an email that my order was ready for pick-up; I checked in that I was on my way, and checked in when I got to my spot. ** Within maybe five minutes, a sweet Walmart worker rolled out my fairly large order, and loaded it all into my trunk. She was mindful of eggs and bread, asking if I'd prefer them in the front with me. If I could have tipped her I would have, but Walmart pick-up workers are not allowed to take gratuities. She was masked, polite, worked efficiently, very pleased! ** And that was it, I was on my way home! When I got home, all of my groceries were there, and in good shape. Dates were good, I had a couple substitutions (I knew about them, they notify you via emai), which were all fine. ** Mind you, I do not buy produce and fresh meat from Walmart. Even when I pick those things out myself, Walmart is hit or miss with fresh foods. But I had a lot of dairy, eggs, bread, frozen, and it was all good. The non-perishables, pet and household items were all fine, too. When I am inevitably in another time crunch, I will definitely use the Walmart pick-up service again at this Walmart location. Love or hate Walmart, for our fam' you simply cannot beat the prices on things we use regularly. This convenient service makes those savings even more valuable. I come on a weekday afternoon, when it is usually not too crowded. After the initial panic-buying of the pandemic calmed down, I've been able to get most or all of what I need. The store is bright, clean, spacious and pretty easy to find things. I'd say it is better organized and up-kept than other Walmarts I've shopped in, so kudos to their management for keeping a tidy store. One thing I really like is this Walmart has several of the larger self check-out aisles, where you essentially have a private lane with your own conveyor belt and large bagging area all to yourself. I always prefer to ring out my own groceries, but this is particularly useful during this time of social distancing. My only qualm, which is a qualm of any Walmart, is the produce can be hit-or-miss. I grab a few well-priced pre-bagged produce items here when the dates are good, like carrots, cabbage or lettuce. And maybe some bananas. But I do usually make a Tops stop for most of our produce, as that is something all Walmarts can't seem to get quite right with freshness. Overall, we will continue to shop at Walmart until my family wins the lottery. And you could do a lot worse than this Walmart location, if you too don't mind shopping big-box cheap for your groceries. read more

Renovated? What was it like before? I wrote a review for the "old" listing and store, pre-renovation I guess. I don't see any updates though. So I'm going for 2 stars. This is a large Walmart, like all the rest. The left side (when facing) is grocery and the right side is everything else. I was here on Thanksgiving early in the day. It was not crowded. The employees were smiling. I would have been totally supportive if they had been closed on a national holiday, but was able to pop in and out quickly since they were open. I knew what I was looking for but since it was so empty I took my time and wandered the aisles for "things I was not aware I was looking for". Today that included ladies socks for the shelter box I am preparing. Parking here is available and vast, but there were a lot of carts in spaces so drive carefully if you come here. read more

I am a Walmart plus customer. every time I order something at least 1 item comes expired or damaged. I'm forever calling the 800 number to get a refund. NOBODY IN THIS STORE TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. For instance today the expectation date on cream cheese was September 4. Today is November 9. Last week a 12 pack of Scott's came slashed. I would be wasting money on Walmart plus but they keep giving me vouchers for inconvenience. That means the more vouchers they hand out the higher the prices get raised. Made appointment for oil change. Got synthetic oil change for $54 dollars, knowing there would be additional charges for more oil than 5 quarts. Got the bill - $ 88 plus change. They didn't have my oil filter in stock, so they took an $18 filter off the retail shelf and charged me for it. Three people in the shop reviewed the charge and said there was nothing they could do, I had to pay. This did not make me happy. read more

I went to Walmart. They had everything I needed. The vegetables weren't as high quality as other places but they will do. But that's not what made me want to write a review. It was their excellent customers and their excellent customer service. I evidently dropped my iPhone or left it on a shelf. My whole life is in that phone. I traced my steps and looked everywhere. I remained calm. I checked-out my groceries, hoping it was on the bottom of my cart. It was not. I went to customer service. The manager asked me some questions to identify my phone. Then handed it to me, saying "Is there anything more I can do for you". That's when the tears came. Thank you whoever turned it in and thank you Walmart! You made my day! read more

It's extremely disappointing to not see this Walmart follow established protocol and statewide direction to wear PPE properly -- and abide by all persons in a store wearing said PPE. I saw a woman walking around like there was no pandemic with no mask and no facial covering. Aside from not caring about even trying to give some distance between herself and other customers -- especially seniors as a lot are doing their shopping now -- I saw not one, not two, not three, but SIX Walmart employees see this woman and not even engage with her about why she's not adhering to NYS orders to wear protective masks in stores. On top of that, I witnessed this woman getting help from an employee who did not even bat an eye at her lack of PPE. I am not for anyone being fined crazy fees or going to jail over lack of facial coverage, but I do know that is happening in black and brown communities with many being harassed and questioned in stores when they DO wear PPE. So to see this blatant disregard -- and not have it questioned at the very least -- further speaks to how certain people are privileged in this society to do what they want and break the rules. Outside of this, two of the greeters did not even try to cover their noses with their masks. I understand they're annoying to wear, but if customers are taking steps to make sure we don't spread this by properly wearing masks, at the very least, greeters should also follow suit. read more

I've definitely reviewed this Walmart before but I have no idea where the old listing went to... My dirty little secret is that well, I kind of love Walmart. Have you seen their prices?! The sheer volume and variety of stuff you can shop here is such a convenience and time saver. I've known people who have worked at Walmarts and have liked their jobs. Have you ever worked mall retail? It's just as "bad" if not way worse than working for a company like Walmart, but we don't expose all of those stores for their terrible hiring practices and lack of paying a living wage. Just think about these things before you overly criticize Walmart... But my review for this store is that it's hit or miss. Sometimes it's well organized and stocked. Other times, I've been in here and the shelves are nearly bare! The employees always seem pleasant though. The clientele here is mild on the People of Walmart scale. It's generally clean too. So obsessed with the Walmart. I typically order 24 - 48 cupcakes from their bakery to compliment any birthdays or family events we have. I love that they have lots of special little free add ins that really make the cup cakes look amazing. The picture shown is unicorns and rainbows for a girl's birthday. I tried Walmart grocery curbside pickup yesterday for the 1st time & except for NOT getting my $10 discount I would say it was a wonderful experience. I shopped from the app on my cell phone well@my desk@work making selecting what I wanted easy. I put in my order selected my time slot for pickup. However, there was very few left by 11am so that was a drawback so I just switch stores however because I switched stores, which made some of my selections unavailable. All in all it was a very easy experience. The plus was saving TIME & the perks were: I didn't have to go into the store after working all day already tired & than listen to screaming & yelling children because of the holiday, nor did I have to listen to the endless bickering amongst people because of the holiday; missed out on the Christmas carols being played out through the store; No impulse buying or any detours into different shopping areas. The MOST important thing was is that it saved me immense amounts of time and it was done professionally, efficiently & effectively picking my stuff out. It was a very enjoyable experience I will definitely use them again. read more

I went here to have some used tires thrown on my car the wait was long but I cannot complain they have a new system where you can book an appointment for tire install when you buy tires through them on the website. I would like to say that they need more tire machines and they got so many people in that they were running around getting people done. I waited a while was kind of irked but remembered that I didn't make an appointment and they have a new system. So it cost me $100 to throw my tires on with the lifetime balance and rotation. If you go here they are reasonably priced but you may have to wait a while but in the end I always get my tires installed here because they have never really screwed me yet read more

First the pros. This store seems to have a better variety and selves are stocked more then some other Walmarts in the area. With that said the cons are . NO CASHIERS, when shopping for one or two items it's no big deal but when you are shopping for a family and have a cart load of groceries, you have to figure out how to unload, cash out, bag your stuff and repack your cart with the groceries bag. There is no room other then the floor to put all your bags until you empty the cart . There are lines of people having check out issues and only ONE person in front trying to help. Disable and elderly people are upset and frustrated even more, sometimes leaving their cart and walking out. Self check out should be an option. Is Walmart going to pay my medical costs if I get injured WORKING THERE, because basically that is what I am forced to do CASHIER WORK. This is the only Walmart that does not have cashiers and that is ridiculous. If you are lucky you may find a manager and complain, then they may or may not have a cashier open a lane. This is a safety and a health issue (bags on floors) We pay far too much for groceries and other items not to have the LUXURY of a CASHIER. read more

This is the cleanest and most well organized Walmart I have ever been to. While walking down the grocery aisles, you could have told me I was in Target, Tops or Wegmans and I would have believed you. Fully stocked, things were in their proper place and I felt like aisles were properly maintained which in most Walmart stores is a rarity. This place doesn't offer more items, variety or better prices (obviously) than other Walmart centers, however, shopping in Walmart can be stressful because, well, it's Walmart. This particular store is pretty stress free and although the customer service line may seem really long and intimidating, it moves rather quickly. I can't give five stars because it's still a Walmart. Parking still isn't great and some of the aisles around housewares are a tad cramped. read more

You know wha ts disgusting? Going shopping and having a person check you out that smells so strong of what seems to be a perfume from the dollar store. What's worse is this woman was so overdosed in this crappy perfume you normally only smell on really old women that it was on her hands and it went on every item I bought! I never ever smelled anything so bad I don't understand why people like this skunk / cat piss smelling perfume!
