Well, the store is improving-I was able to get served at the deli/bakery after I got off work at 6-which is unheard of! I wasn't helped by the energetic lady with blonde hair (who I love) but helped by Angel. She saved the review for Walmart today! What a kind employee you have in Angel! The second I walked up to Deli counter, she jumped to help me and was quick about it! Sliced my cheese and meat without hassle-how it's supposed to be done! I stopped here because I was going for a walk in the snow and needed to use a restroom and get some tissue to blow my nose and thought I'd pick up some pita chips while in the store. The restroom at the front of the store was being cleaned, and it looked like she had just started so I asked if I could use one quickly. The first time she just looked at me then turned back around not saying anything (ignored me). I asked again and she asked "why??" (With a very snotty tone) so I said "nevermind, but could I just get a piece of tissue because my nose is running?" She rolled her eyes at me, but I grabbed one anyway so as not to make a mess. I also asked if there was another restroom. She ignored me again. I found one in the back of the store, thanks to a kinder employee, and used that. I got my pita thins and went to self checkout, which had no plastic bags. I usually bring my own, but again, I was actually just going for a walk and it was snowing.The employee I asked where I could get a plastic bag told me that I had to pay for those, which I know and didn't have a problem with. She told me to go to a checkout lane if I needed to buy one because people will just steal them from self check! So why do they have people there watching you at self check? Isn't that to prevent stealing? On my way out of the store, the lady cleaning the restrooms gave me one last nasty glare as I walked by. Staff I sent in a great report earlier today about my pick up at store experience because it was so simple and quick. But I am extremely upset about carefully making complete orders only to have them divide them up into little bits so I have little bitty orders that don't qualify for free shipping, not to mention the inconvenience of deliveries being strung out till I'm never sure when or if all is here and never all at once. Furthermore, every time I go to order again, there is something still left sitting in my cart. Why wasn't it included in the large order??? Earlier tonight I went here to pickup an order that the app had told me was ready. So I followed it's instructions and let the app know I was on my way to pickup the order, and then once I got there to let them know I was there and which spot I parked in. I sat there for 10 minutes and... nothing. So I called the number listed on the "reserved for online pickup" sign thinking it would go to the "order pickup" department or something, but nope it went to the (now closed) pharmacy..? So I went inside and asked if I could just pick up my order myself. After being bounced around to a few different people and explaining the same thing to each one, one of the workers told me "you need to wait in your car and we'll drop it off." I asked to just get it now and she said i HAD to wait in my car. So I do, and wait another 15 minutes. Then I go back in the store, and a new person is at the front, so I explain my story again and this time I'm told- "oh you probably should come back tomorrow. The people who work in order pickup get off at 10pm." And I say- "...but it's 9:04pm." And all she says is "oh..." and then tries to look busy. ‍ At this point I give up, as I had been pointlessly waiting for OVER AN HOUR... I just canceled my entire pickup order, and went home. I was standing in line for more than 10 minutes watching those girls text and giggle while looking at me and other 2 people behind me. It wasn't until the blonde girl said, "How about one of you help me with the line?" And the girl with the bandana LAUGHS and says, "I am helping!" Meanwhile, the other girl with the glasses thinks it's a game and runs to one of the register laughing. Both then yell, "I can help whoever" and I go to the closest one. The girl with the bandana then says, "Wow, nobody likes me" and laughs some more. HORRIBLE, so I was at the self checkout Thursday feb 29, at 2:30pm by the "home and pharmacy" entrance and I put in $2 in 1 bills, and then a $5, but when putting in the 5 it ripped and rejected the $5 without counting it, it jammed the machine and the Spanish lady working the self checkout came up to me and fixed the machine and refunded the $5, while she was doing that I put in $2 in 1 bills and $1.04 in change, when the lady got back with my refunded $5 she tried to put it in and broke the machine again! So the machine printed 2 receipts saying $5.04 was put in the machine, the machine never gave me the 5.04 dollars back and they took me to customer service to scan my items, so here is where it gets Bad, they say that I Was refunded the $5.04 even though I wasn't and I only had the other $5 that ripped, I gave the receipt to the check out lady and she went Right over to the self checkout and threw it in the trash can and told her coworkers that I Was refunded the $5.04. They checked the cameras and the other lady that believed the self checkout lady looked irritated that I was telling the truth and in response she said "I don't know how much change you put in so I will Only refund you the 4$" even though I told them countless times that I put $1.04 in change but at that point I just gave up at that point and said sure because I didn't want to argue with them and make a scene. I'm assuming the checkout lady didn't like me as I work at a shop and was getting atf for it and I looked a little rough as I don't ware the best clothes while at work. read more

Don't make it a point to stop here. But sometimes their prices win over my common sense. Dedicated parking lot. Walmart is basically the only attraction. Some nearby food but you'll see the store looming on her horizon. Carts are generally cleaned up. Some parking lot loitering but this is a store review, not the surrounding area. Hit or miss on the signature greeters. Believe I've left and had the security guard greet me more so than a greeter. If a greeter is actually at their post at all. Automotive section. Garden. Toiletries. Pharmacy. Cards. Clothes. Electronics. Food. Hot deli. Baby clothes. Literally your one stop shop. Generally I'll stop in for a large greeting or birthday card selection. Better than nearby Soopers and of course cheaper. I'll also check out their electronics selection for a specific Xbox game. Other than that a pretty unremarkable Walmart. The ones in "the south" are usually decent. McDonald's inside. Self checkout although two or three are always on the fritz. Come inside and get your goods and leave. read more

Walmart at 7155 N. Sheridan Blvd., is absolutely horrible !!! Tha ASM, "Jessica", is an absolutely horrible employee, and assistant manager of this store !!! I went there, with a 1:00pm appt. I arrived on time. And "Jessica", was in the back area, just BS'ing with a bunch of other female Walmart employees. She was supposed to be interviewing applicants, and getting them hired to unload trucks, and get the shelves stocked, due to the COVID-19 Scare, and a shortage of available employees. But instead, was NOT doing anything like that. I wound up waiting for over an hour for my interview to be conducted. I explained to "Jessica", that my time was very limited, and I was supposed to be interviewing for a Supervisory position, and that all my online application assessment stuff had been completed. The ASM: "Jessica", told me specifically, "That I had to go back online and re-do my application and assessments, because she personally had deleted all my online application and assessment". When I asked her why it had happened, she rudely explained to me, "Shit Happens" !!! And then proceeded to engage her conversational laughter with the other female Walmart employees !!! Very Unprofessional !!! And this Walmart Store has made this individual a Assistant Manager ??? I found out another applicant had been waiting for their interview for almost 40 minutes, before me. And he came out of his interview just like me...shaking his head, because his time was wasted at that particular store. I had traveled thru the snow blizzard to get to this very particular Walmart store, with Hope's of being interviewed respectfully and properly. But I was definitely shocked, to say the very least. Its Walmart employees, like Assistant Manager, "Jessica", that makes employees not want to come in to work, let alone new potential employees deciding that they really do NOT wish to work at a Walmart Store, like the one at 7155 N. Nick(the manager i spoke with) was not very helpful. I bought a Primerib from this location for Christmas and it was RANCID. It is NOT expired! I called to try and just replace it, not return it, and was denied. I was told there policy says they cant EXCHANGE it without a receipt. The item i bought had to be unlocked for me to purchase. So i called corporate. Corporate stated its not there policy and that it is up to the manager on duty at that walmart location. So pretty much, for no reason at all, this location wont replace the Spoiled meat they sold me. Again, THEY SOLD ME SPOILED MEAT! A week or so before i bought the primerib, they had to throw out a whole fridge of ham due to the fridge going out and im wondering if this is part of the effected meat. read more

Walmart Grocery. Who would have thought? If you are the kind of person who has a list of 2 things, and you go to the store and leave with 200 things, then this is something that may be worthwhile for you to check out . A trip grocery shopping to Walmart and lose me 2 hours of time, and an extra $100 bucks that I didn't anticipate. The joys of shopping with a 2 year old. Now, yes, you may say that I need to learn more discipline when shopping and bla bla bla... but I found a way to have discipline AND save time. And that is with Walmart Grocery's pick up and delivery service. Friday afternoon on my lunch break, I log on and do all my shopping. Pick a time for Saturday, and go the next day, pull up to the pick up location, and out they bring my food. A couple additional perks- if you request something and they don't have it, they upgrade you to the next best thing, free of charge. If you pick up , there is not pick up fee ( for now) ... and if you have it delivered, I believe the fee isn't any more than what you lose driving and spending a lot of time there. The guys who bring me my groceries out and super, super nice. Try it out, you may find yourself saving time, money, and some sanity :) read more

I am not sure why I keep coming here (close proximity to me seems to be my biggest excuse, and open 24 hours) that is all that it has going for it The employee that works the electronic section at night knows nothing of the department she is working and openly admitted that to me, at least she was being honest, when I asked a greeter about a manager or another employee who knew something about that section the greeter told me that they were too busy to talk to me (yeah I kid you not) they regularly place the wrong products in front of price tags, I mentioned that to some employees and when I left they started following me out the door trying to stare me down (I am not joking nor misunderstanding either) they are almost always out of my testing strips, in addition to numerous other things that I go in for. The pharmacy is horrendous, took them over 8 hours to fill one prescription, another time they bagged two of my prescriptions (or so I thought until i got home and found that they didn't package one of them) I have also seen them CLOSE lanes as long lines started growing, though this happens late in the evening, why close lanes when lines are getting longer, shouldn't you be opening a lane up????? at this point I decided to go back to King Soopers down the street from them for groceries and wind up driving many miles more for other items, but sadly I still get stuck having to go there from time to time now. King Soopers is actually quite competitive in prices to Walmart or at least close enough in price to not make much of a difference This is just a small sample of the glaring lousy service at this location read more

I think this walmart is a joke, if you can't stock in the correct spot and honor your mistakes then maybe you shouldn't stock and your customers would not be mad. This has happened several times were I thought I found a good deal just to find out its my fault because your workers don't know how to stock. I can't even begin to tell you how sick and tired of this chain I've become. Everything about WalMart says impersonal, but I'm not here to rip into every department right now, just their Bakery. On more than 1 occasion, My wife and I have ordered special request cakes and both times this Bakery has come up short. If I could give them just a half star I would much rather do that. Let me back up to 2017 for my daughters Birthday for when she turned 15, if you know what a quinceañera is, you know how much this meant. We were on a tight budget and ordered this cake a month in advance and paid half when we ordered. The day of the party we went to pick it up, and the Cake? Wait what cake? They didn't even make the cake. You can imagine how upset my wife was. This time I was holding her back because it's typically the other way around. What can I say, the issue was somewhat resolved after we got AN acting manager involved, not to our liking or desire. They dropped the ball!!! Fast forward to this past Thursday, why we went back I can't even tell you..but we did. My wife and I, more my wife than I, wanted to get a cake for her sister and I since we share the same Birthday for a gathering today. Simple cake, full sheet, with a kit and a simple message. Called ahead to make sure it was ready this time, got put on hold for 10 minutes after I got hung up on the 1st call. Called back a 3rd time and the cake was ready! At pick up, it wasn't even a full sheet just a half sheet, the message was poorly done and mispelled and they tried pricing the cake as if it was a full sheet cake. Can I do Emojis on Yelp? It's like I was telling my wife after left the store and left the cake this time, it's no so much the cake/s that I wanted but the personal satisfaction of knowing that the personnel at your locations take pride in the quality of work they do! More often then not, no one does their Job especially in that capacity, with great lengths or measures of pride at this WalMart. How does this reflect on your other Locations? This appears to be the only business of this name, but I use the one thats down in Highlands Ranch, CO. I'm sure that quality varies by location some. I'm giving it two stars because walmart grocery has never actually gotten it 100% right when picking my order. This last time was borderline stupid in fact. 1. My meat that they delivered was all expired before it landed. Delivery on the 22nd, meat dated 20 and 21st. 2. I ended up with two mixed bags of cauliflower and broccoli. I didn't order anything even remotely like that. 3. Some items were flat out missing. I'm trying not to complain, but I just threw out $30 in meat when I checked expiration dates and couldn't make a key dinner tonight because of missing ingredients. And I happen to know it wasn't me somehow losing it because this house had no food whatsoever due to it being a brand new house for me. The convenience of having food show up is good though so they get two stars. With the $10 delivery fee, throwing out expired food, and missing crap it cost me $40 or $50 this run around though. read more
