I have had the Walmart + subscription for six months and am so happy I bought it. This store has been accurate with my orders and the delivery drivers have been timely and professional. I needed to make a quick trip to Walmart on CR 6 in Elkhart, Indiana. I needed diapers a lady pushed a big ladder in the aisle and said excuse me and pushed it righ in front of me. I moved further down & she did the same thing 3 times I couldn't reach/see the diapers with the ladder in the way. the next time she excused herself and got in my way, I took the cart and left the aisle only then did she ask if I needed help! I left the store and went to Meijers. I've been a manager and district manager over 32 stores. customers should always come first and there shouldn't be any obstructions in the way. store clerks should be trained. Unsatisfied customer here today shopping through Walmart today. This store has to be one of the most obnoxious stores to find. My shopping experience was bad. Managment is in charge with the poor quality of service here today. The management here are responsible for their poor quality job performance. Every time I have to deal with customer service at this location, I dread it. No one is friendly, not approachable, and they are very dismissive. I came in with a minute issue and I got a one sentence answer and then they wouldnt even look at me. I went in this store today ( county road 6 ) in Elkhart. I was shocked, this was the cleanest Walmart I have ever seen! I called my wife and told her how clean it was. Floors were spotless, entrance was so clean, check out area was also, I don't know why it was that way , but think management has something to do with it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Another great example of why I don't shop at Wal-Mart. I only go here once a year to order food for tailgater because we are from out of town. A few years ago I showed up and my order wasn't ready. They forgot to do it. This year I show up 15 minutes before my order (which I ordered a week earlier). They tell me I cannot have the rotessierre chicken I ordered because someone ordered 40 of them. They had a few cold chicken breasts but had no way to warm up. It's a shame when I have someone that can eat the breading on the chicken tenders. They offered nothing to accommodate. I have ordered here at least 10 years. I am done! I will find a new place. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Walmarts - Department Stores Near Me - West Elkhart, Indiana

I hate Wal-Mart as it is, but this particular Wal-Mart really chaps my booty. I was headed to my middle sister's house and planned to stop by her favorite florist to pick up an arrangement, as I do every year. Unfortunately, the florist had decided to move and was no longer on the way to her house (something I only learned when I stopped into the old location - *sigh*). My oldest sister assured me there would be a market on the way where I could get what I needed so we sallied forth. The ONLY place to get flowers between the now-defunct flower shop and my sister's house turned out to be Wal-Mart. And their flower selection is CRAP. Half-dead flowers, daisies dyed hideous colors that nature would never create, and even worse, not a single arrangement in a vase. I took the least offensive and most lively bunch I could find, which isn't saying much, and picked out a small blue glass vase. Against all hope, I asked the dull-looking woman manning the cash register whether there was a nearby florist and it took her three slow tries to say, "Um, I don't know..." "Well, now, let me think..." "Hmmm, I don't think so...." while I was telling her to go ahead and forget it, since I was in a hurry and I figured the flowers might actually die before she rang me up. Plus, the stupid fake purple daisies stained my fingers when I was putting them in the vase! Bah! Wal-Mart, you suck! read more

**UPDATE** STILL sucks. Went in a few weeks back on a Friday evening to try to avoid the certain Saturday rush. I spent about an hour in the store dilly-dallying before I made my way to the register sometime around 11:30pm. Out of the 30some odd registers they have, there were only three open. THREE. No self checkouts open, nada. Lines were backed all the way up through the clothes department. The line I was standing in was the 10 items or less lane.. which had the slowest possible cashier on it I've ever seen. The regular lanes were moving faster than the "speedy" checkout line!* Not sure how hard it is to staff more cashiers in the evenings on the weekends, or maybe they need to train more. Another time this happened prior to the last, I just pushed my cart up in front of the customer service area and walked out. Left behind my cold foods, toys I was buying for my children. At least $150 out the door, and possibly more if the cold items weren't returned to their fridges and freezers in a timely manner. And let's face it.. with how little help I saw around, I'm sure they spoiled. I started going across the street to Aldi for my foods, and only go to Walmart for things I absolutely can't purchase anywhere else. I'll pay a little extra if it means I can be attended to in a timely manner. Get your sh*t togethee, Walmart. read more

My daughter has been planning my grandsons 4th birthday party for months. She ordered the perfect birthday cake for his Super Mario birthday on November 16. His party was today, December 9th. She called the bakery at 10:00 am this morning to find out the cost of the cake so she could bring the appropriate amount of cash to pick it up. The person who answered the phone said that they didn't make it because the type of icing for the type of cake she chose (2 tier) would not work. They said they had been trying to call her for weeks and even left 2 message. My daughter did not receive once call from the bakery. The number they have on the order form is correct. The person who answered the phone when my daughter called said that the person who took the order (Courtney) knew better. Walmart bakery showed no remorse and didn't have any interest in making this right. They did not offer to come up with another cake, anything. We had planned on stopping in to pick up some subs as well on the way to set up with party, but their lack of caring about the situation steered us elsewhere. read more

For starters, I hate Walmart and will not do any business with them except if they're the only place that carries the item I want. With that said, when I was a kid I enjoyed going to this Walmart. But over the past decade (maybe more) it has really gone down hill. The corporation as a whole is greedy, and that greed reflects the customer service. I never worked at a Walmart (and would rather be homeless than work there), and I know it's a very hectic environment, especially with the crazy customers. But if you go in there expecting to be taken care of with top of the class customer service, then man you are going to be disappointed. The guys that work in the electronic department are usually not the most helpful. In fact, some of them are very reluctant and won't even look toward your direction just to avoid you. One man, who I will only say he is a tall, slightly heavier set man, was acting just like this when I had interest in a camera and he didn't have a clue what I was talking about and he didn't know until I showed him what I was wanting. He did not seem at all interested in helping out, but he did. Another time before that was I wanted to see if there was a new product in the electronics department, but the only guy that the associates pointed me out to was someone who was helping a customer with problems with her smartphone. So I waited behind the customer and a couple was waiting as well (seemed like they were trying to get ahead of me, but who knows). He should have noticed us, and he probably did, but he just continued being on the phone while sorting the customer's problem. He didn't even put the call on hold to ask other associates to see if they could assist us. So after someone between 5 and 10 minutes, I have up, saying out loud "this is why I don't shop here". Then I told an associate close by that there was people that needed help and the guy there was busy with another customer and she said that he was the only one that could help... Unfreakinbelievable... I'm sorry, but that is unacceptable, even if there are no other people that work in that department, you can at least see and try it you can help. Truly, this was the most disappointing visit I had. One more issue I have... Don't believe even you see in the grocery isle, especially with a variety of foods like bread. If you see one item that is in bulk that's supposidly cheaper than what's next to it, take a picture of it with your phone so you can show them where you got it if the price is more expensive than it is. My mom and I did this and it made me mad. It wasn't worth going back in though because there are sooooo many people. So many in fact that it's packed from the registers to where the clothes isle was at. It's almost always packed and people are always get in the way and vice versa. People there are just mean at times. Bottom line: make Walmart the absolute last place for what you're looking. Try all other places, even online if you can. The only thing that Walmart has going for them is their credit card... But that's not saying much. Just avoid Walmart like the plague... At the very least this Walmart. I am totally fed up with walmart. Let me just say their customer service counter is HORRIBLE and their customer service has gone right out the window. I recently moved and had nothing to speak of. So I started going to the local walmart for the things I needed. I bought things like a shower curtain, bath mat, cleaning supplies, microwave oven, a vacuum, a couple small dog coats and many other items. Also I do buy what most people refer to as "junk warrantys". First on my list of aggravations is; I received as a gift, a better homes and gardens roasting pan that I had not used, I didn't even take it our of the box until I moved here. The box went out in the dumpster with all the other moving boxes. I saw that the porcelain was chipped inside and out about the size of a quarter on the roasting pan. I have tried to exchange it at 3 different walmarts and not one will help me. Simply because I do not have the box. Never mind that the utensils that came with it are still in plastic and had never been taken out of the pan. So I am stuck with a chipped pan. I have called the 800 number they give you on the paper work that comes with the pan and a manager from one of the walmarts called me back and said she was gonna look into it and I still have not heard from her. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called them again today and the gentleman reassured me that they are going to take care of the matter. Next I purchased a shower curtain that was on sale. They charged me 14.95 when the original amount was 12.95. It was suppose to be on sale for 7.50. The dog coats that were suppose to be on clearance for 3.50. she charged me 7.00 a piece, when I brought this to the cashiers attention, before she bagged BOTH coats she only corrected one transaction instead of both. The bath mat was on clearance for 7.00 and they charged me 14.95. The other walmart a couple miles away was charging 6.50 for the same bathmat. I now have a sweeper that makes a grinding noise when you shut it off, I do have the warranty and the receipt. I also cleaned it up before I took it back, although it wasn't even dirty. I have had it a little over a month. The lady at the service desk kept asking me if I had the receipt after I showed her twice with the warranty. She asked me "is it clean"? in her monotone voice. She was not concerned with the fact that I had the warranty. She told me to go back and look to see if they had the product so I did. I found one identical and took it up to her after I shopped for a few more cleaning items. It was the exact same sweeper, except it said Helix on the box, whatever that is and it was 4.00 more than what I paid for the original one. She told me I would have to take it back to the other walmart where I purchased it since they didn't have the exact same one. Ok, I can deal with that except I offered to pay the extra 4.00 to buy this one and she said "NO, I NEED THE BOX"!!!!!! At which I told her I am currently going through the same thing with a roasting pan. I said "now I am stuck with a bad sweeper too"????? So I walked off and left the things I was going to purchase in the cart. I moved here in Feb. of this year. All this has happened in just over a month, and at least 3 mistakes were on 1 single receipt. No more walmart for me. This has happened to me before several times at walmart. I use to watch every item being rung up due to this kind of thing. But I must have gotten lazy. Or just plain stupid to start trusting this lame store again.The prices are basically comparable with other stores and I have plenty of choices. Miejer here I come. I have shopped with them and IF I had a problem, they were very happy to take care of it. Customer service means more to me than saving a few pennies at walmart. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Walmart in general but recently I've become my mother's caregiver. She has her prescriptions filled at Wally World. Their customer service is very poor. Slow service is an understatement. Today the physician faxed over a refill around 9:00 AM. I presented myself at 12:30 to pick it up. After a short wait I had the wrong prescription in my hot little hands ready to head for the doors. Hmmm, better check because they filled the last one wrong... Yep, it's wrong. They pulled an old r/x from her profile that should have been on hold and filled it. Long sigh, start over. Back to the drop off window to be told to wait 40 minutes more. Then the line is too long to stand in so I waste 10 more minutes for the line to reduce. Good there are only 5 people in line that signals visions of 30 more minutes in my head. So I go check out on one of their speedy self check out's (the ones where they save money on personnel and we go blind trying to make the scanners work. Done - now back to the pharmacy to stand behind 3 more people. Fifteen minutes later I look at my watch and it's 2:29 - I'm otta there! I'll pick it up later - when I will kindly present the pharmacy with a request for mom's records so I can have her business transferred to another pharmacy. That will be a $300.00 plus loss to them every month. It's not worth the minor savings they tease you with on generics. Beware and very afraid. read more
