I shouldn't review the Ware WalMart for the fear that others will discover how good it is. It's a Walmart supercenter so it has the full grocery store as well as a full Walmart. I've been using the grocery pick up at the Ware store since before Covid and I don't think I could grocery shop in a store ever again. I've been spoiled! I use the app to order my groceries and when they're ready I drive up and the pick up crew loads of them into the back of the car. The kids that work the grocery pick up are just wonderful. I've been coming so much that now they know me, and what I like. For example, I like my eggs and bread upfront with me and not in the back. I also go into the store to browse and pick up other items that aren't available with pick up. The store is always clean and usually well stocked. I ordered express delivery last night, it's still not here! When I called the store and spoke to the "manager" I only got attitude, no sincere apology or attempt to fix the problem they caused. They do not care about their customers at all, I will never order from them again! read more

I've been a customer ever since this store first opened, but only because it's the closest/cheapest store to where I live, but I'm really not impressed with it at all. Most employees are awful, lazy, ignorant & rude with nasty attitudes. However there are very few good ones. I'd say at least 70% are useless. They never restock, always out of everything, no matter what time or day you go. Self checkout constantly accuses paying customers of theft, despite the fact that we're literally on camera & they stand there watching you check your items out. If a single item accidentally goes without being scanned, they will literally cancel your whole order & force you to use a regular checkout. Seems like a ridiculous method when most of the time this happens as an honest mistake & is not actual shoplifting attempts, yet they treat you as if you were trying to steal. They could simply just tell you what didn't scan & stand by while you rescan it, rather than make you go to another register where you're then forced to have an uncomfortable interaction. Many use self checkout for a reason! I would rather go to Walmart in Leicester. Much better, cleaner, stocked store with top notch employees. Never had any issues there! Too bad it's about 30+ mins away, still rather that than Ware! They should really consider retraining at least half their team, or better yet hire new employees that actually want to work & can handle their jobs! Only good thing about the Ware store is their prices. They also have an optical shop, nail salon, Subway & Country Bank available. Definitely don't waste time ordering from the bakery either! I've dealt with countless mistakes on their behalf, including losing an order. They literally wrote it down in front of me, how would it get lost? Plus wrong size/type cake. You're better off with just about any other Walmart honestly. read more

I was pining away for Hagen Daz white chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream. Kyle, who works in the frozen foods dept. heard me and went in search of some in the back freezer. I've never met a walmart I liked. This one, out in the middle of nowhere western mass, is no different. It has all the unpleasant things I've come to expect from Walmart. It only gets 2 stars (versus 1) because it was grades above the nearby Kmart. The Kmart had a terribly small selection whereas Walmart was packed full of product. read more

I really don't know what all the negative reviews are for. In any store you are liable to meet with the occasional unhelpful employee or have a register not work correctly or an item wrongly priced. I for one am thankful for Walmart. I remember when we didn't have one and the options for buying on a budget were limited. Walmart has made life better for me and my family. As for the help, remember they are just people. If they perform poorly then report them, but don't condemn the whole store for one bad encounter. I would be lost without Walmart and so would most of the people I know who shop there regularly. read more

Nice, friendly cashiers but thats about it. Product availability absolutely sucks! Its gone on a Saturday and u cant get it for a week or more. Restocking is a joke! Whether its bandages, dog toys, frozen foods, or single cans of beer, once its out good luck till next time! Its been like this for at least 2 years. Never was. A huge chain like this shouldnt be this way! Lower prices? Who cares if u cant buy it!? Pure mismanagement and a clear cost-cutting move. But at what gain if u piss off the customer!? So on Sat. 11/17/2018 I go to Walmart to get three items. Hood milk, Harvest Crisps, and Hormel corn beef hash. I walk in and as usual the greater is staring at the floor and could not gather the courage to say "Welcome to Walmart " so I do as I always do and I say "Welcome to Walmart " just to make them feel bad. I go to get my Hood milk but there is none. When I ask I was told that Walmart no longer carries Hood milk. I couldn't find corn beef hash and I asked an employee. This employee said "Sorry I don't work in that department". So I asked another employee and they said "Sorry I work in toys" the third employee said "Sorry I work in maintenance". Fourth employee said "I work in electronics" so I finally went to the courtesy booth and they told me where it was. Got there only to discover they don't carry Hormel Corn beef hash (which I had a coupon for). Fortunately it only took me three employees to find out they no longer carry Harvest Crisps. So I left (and never told "Thank you for shopping at Walmart " and went to Stop & Shop where I got all three items in a short time. So now I got Amazon first then Stop &Shop for groceries. I am now officially done with Walmart. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Beware of wal mart. They will ring your debit card purchase through the register and not have it "process" and try it again. Turns out it does process but they will tell you it doesn't. So you end up charged as many times as it is rung through the system. When management is asked about what can be done they say there is no proof, even with bank statement evidence on your smartphone. They didn't even try to help. They didn't even ask their cashier to count down her drawer to see if the cash back made her drawer off. For all we know they do this many times a day and if you aren't watching your bank accounts it could happen to you. read more

Well as its been said, "its Walmart...what do you expect?".. I only go there for household items such as cleaning products, paper products and some pharmacy/beauty products. The pet food is really good....large selection at a good price. Bedding department has a good selection of quality items....bought a pillow and its really comfortable. The one thing I don't like is that they change where they put things and you have to go searching around for it...that is if you can find someone to ask.....I don't buy meats or other food items. This Walmart is somewhat on the small side, BUT I have been going here for over 7 years because the employees are the best. The store is always clean, well-stocked for the most part, and the employees are very nice and helpful. Anyone giving this place a bad review is just picky in my opinion! read more
