Very dirty store. Some of the most rude people you will meet. Unhelpful staff (could not event tell me where to find things). Pharmacy sucks. Several times, they acted as if they didn't receive my prescription. Once, the doctor sent it to them two times and they said they didn't get it. The last time, I turned in the prescription myself and they said they never got one. Then when I actually did get my medication the most recent time, they shorted me 5 pills, which means I had to refill early. Because I had to refill twice in the same month, they said my insurance wouldn't cover it. After going through 2 days of fighting with them to get my medication, they finally filled it - but too late. My meds had run out and it was NOT a start and stop medication. Once you miss a dose - even 1 - you have to start a whole new medication. Abysmal. Their fruit and vegetables rots within a day or two meaning that it is already old to begin with when they put it on the shelf. The bakery donuts are dried out and tasteless. The bathrooms are disgusting. I know that it's up to people to figure out how to keep their crap inside the toilet, but I also know it is Walmart's responsibility to clean up such a mess. Horrible. I wish I could give them a good review, but I have no reason to. I shop there a lot. I have given them many chances, but enough is enough. 1/5. I'd give lower if I could. read more

Spend the extra money at discount or anywhere else. Waited 3x longer than we were told for 1 tire replacement.

I visited Walmart today and was greatly disappointed with how they have the baby and toddler section disorganized by mixing the girls clothes with the boys clothes. At this Walmart on Grant Street they inconvenienced me and my precious time because I had to look for clothes for my son who needs to be wearing boys clothes after all he is a male and that is his sex. Walmart you need to correct and organize the clothing according to the difference in the two sexes of male and female as I find the way you have the clothes disorganized to be offensive. The way it is just shows how you support child abuse. Sincerely An Offended Customer read more

If I could give no stars I would the lady Jessica was so rude and disrespectful as other customers left the store with carts fuller then mine which I only had 5 bags she decided she was going yo only check my cart which was odd because she allowed several customers before me with items below their carts and with more purchases then I was shocked because I asked what was the issue and she then told me if I didn't give her my receipt I was no longer welcome in her store and I was shocked because this has never happened to me before I shop her because my husband works here and I at time come to eat with him due yo my cancer treatments it is harder for me to spend alot if time with him SK when I am done dropping off the kids at school I stop in as this store is on my way home to do shopping as well as see my husband I was shocked because I never thought anyone would ever be so rude and disrespectful as to tell me my business was no longer welcome on her store because I asked why she needed my recipit when everything was in a bag and there was nothing under my cart at all I even asked why she didn't scan the other customers receipts and only mine I asked did she see me steal and if so please show me she was already agitated it seemed and told me I was no longer welcome in her store read more

Terrible customer service! My husband and I needed new tires on our car for the snow and we were told it would take 1.5 hours to install and balance the new tires. After an hour goes by, we notice that our car had nothing done to it but the 1 tire off. Come to find out, the gentleman who was working on it, his shift ended so he left. No one decided to tell us this and it happened again when a second gentleman's shift ended and he left the car without telling anyone. So it ended up taking 4.5 hours to replace tires and balance them and all they said was "sorry". Unless you want to spend all day waiting for your vehicle, don't come to Walmart's Auto Shop. The only reason why they are getting 2 stars is because the tires are amazing and doing well in the snow! read more

WAL MART COULD BE MUCH BETTER CLEANER AND SAFER ONLY IF MANAGEMENT WANTED IT! SO I am at at risk person but IV been locked in my house for over TWO MONTHS! I had to go to the store so I had my mask on I even put gloves on and I'm walking through there and MAYBE 20% People had mask on! I BLAME THIS ON WALMART!!!! All stores that are ALLOWED to be open NEED TO HAVE A POLICY OF MASK! I feel that if I go to a store where It's suppose to be safe to buyers and I get sick from said store because they are letting people in that don't give a shit about others lives! Then WALMART should be SUED! read more

Too busy, too crowded. Item selection seems limited to demographic preferences. There has been a pattern over the past 10 years of shopping at this Grant Steet Crazy busy Walmart: 1) Busy Busy Busier 2) As soon as I find a new item, said item becomes no longer available by the next week or two when I try to find it again 3) Crazy obnoxious long wait lines to check out 4) Not always well stocked 5) Parking lot seems to have gotten fuller and fuller over the past 10 years due to increase in population growth 6) Staff try their best but compared to other Walmart locations, not as charismatic--I guess what do I expect, the Hilton lol! I guess not but there is a definite difference in the overall feel and energy of this Walmart on Grant Street (I feel pressured because I feel like I may as well be in New York, or some city that is highly densely populated whilst walking betwixt the aisles). 7) People seem more agitated and aggressive at this Walmart 8) Security Guard (the other locations don't have a security guard, why does this one need one?) Hmmmm. History of theft? read more

I had the unfortunate experience of spending 3 hrs here yesterday, not by choice. It all started when I called & found out that they were the only store that had my tires in stock in the Denver area, & the lady told me it would take "only 20 minutes". That was before Roberto O. got a hold of my Rover. I patiently waited around, when my daughter said "Nana" so we walked the length of a football field & then some to get a banana from the food dept. It tasted like plastic even though it looked ripe, I don't want to know how they can do that, but I will never buy one again from there. After the snack we meandered back to the tire dept w/ a pit stop in children's dept so my daughter could get her Yo Gabba Gabba Fufa shirt. It had been an hour, went back to check on things & lady said almost done. I said ok & we looked around some more. after 1.5 hrs I went back to see Roberto O still messing with same tires talking to his coworkers etc. I finally got upset because my daughter was crying by this time, & asked what's wrong, Shawn the cashier was like he cant get a "bead on the tire" The whole time this guy Roberto O who was working on my Rover was just standing around doing nothing I was watching from window. So I went on quest to find someone in charge found an Assistant Manager, and asked him why no one has put my tire on? He went to check on things. It has now been 2.5 hrs, my two year old is having a melt down & the diaper bag is in Rover & that is on the lift still. Oddly enough things are starting to happen with my tires now that As. Manager talked to Verrry Sloww Tech, I would have left by now, but old tires are off and all I have are rims. The As. Manager now tells me some BS about needing to get a tech who know what they are doing to do my tires, I am like why wasn't someone who knows what they are doing working on my Rover in first place? Then new tech comes out, As. Manager comes back with a bs scary story about having to "Over inflating my tires, to seat the beads, and it is dangerous and something we don't do here" bravo, good thing to say to a customer to scare them. 45 minutes pass, & the cashier tells me Rover is ready, I ask for a discount, they say ok, and after I sign. I find out it's $20? My time is worth way more buddy, & I think my opinion is way more than that. We'll see if it was worth it to you, not have your act together Wal-mart. read more

I don't know why I'm surprised that this particular Walmart disappointed me once again. For the second time in a month, my husband and I came to get an oil change at the tire and lube department. Both times have been around 6 PM and both times we have been turned away because "we are too busy and aren't accepting any more oil changes today". I decided to write a review this time because the staff was incredibly rude, basically kicking us out of the store, and although they did tell us that they were understaffed, there were 2 technicians standing around talking to a friend. There were two cars in front of us that only needed oil changes, but clearly 2 hours was not enough time to do any more. I've never been a "Walmart hater", but I can honestly say I will never shop at this location again. I would rather pay a little more than deal with this gross incompetence and inadequacy again. read more

Nope. Nope. Nope. This store is the reason Walmart has a bad name. Went a few times out of desperation bc Target was closed and had a bad experience each time. Shelves are not stocked or super messy, staff is always short and complaining and it doesnt really speak well for any store if you have theft police at the doors 24/7. Disgusting. Ill always pay more and go to target. read more

Really the worst customer service. Walked in to the garden center about 1:45 on Friday afternoon the 17th of June. I visited this location on 9901 Grant St. Thornton, CO probably twice a week (I'm very forgetful). Every time I've gone in the past I've had decent experiences. Today however was aweful I visited the above location on Sunday July 5 at around 3:00 to 3:30. In that thirty minute time period I had an outstanding thee horrible experiences with your employees. The first happened immediately when we walked in. My three year old son was walking beside me holding my hand and looking at his new light up shoes. We were both laughing and complimenting how good he looked, not playing very much attention to who was walking past us. Then I look up I see a security guard throw her hands up, let out a very long sigh and roll her eyes. I ignored the fact that she insulted my three year old for the fact that people have bad day. Next we went to the electronic department and grabbed a game that I had a question about. The game online was half price and did not indicate that it was an online only price. I assumed that they would say no and give a reasonable explanation, but it was definitely worth asking. Or at least I thought. So I wait by the desk for someone to emerge from the back, it didn't take to long. I tell her that I found the same game online and that I had a question about why it was ringing up higher. She don't look on my phone to see the page already pulled up or give me any explanation. She just looked at me and said, "Walmart wouldn't sell it for that price.". I was a little shocked by her harsh tone and said that I have the page pulled up if she wanted to see. Her shook her hand furiously and said I'd have to show the main electronic guy. At this point my attitude was still decent and I waited for the main guy to finish up his sale. He ended up stopping mid way though to give the previous lady guidance. He told her that Walmart will honor it if it's the same game and to go ahead if so. Success I thought! Wrong, she took a sweeping glace at my phone then at the game and tried telling me it wasn't the same game. Knowing that I wouldn't get anywhere here I decided to go to the speedy check out lane. I waited in line to ask my question and refreshed my attitude. When it got to me I told the lady I had a question about the different prices. She scanned the barcode and told me they would only sell at this price. Then she thew it into a basket and looked at the person waiting behind me. I then proceeded to ask why it said a different price, why it didn't say online only and why they don't match there own prices. Her tone grew more and more aggressive until I gave up completely. I have now given up on this Walmart completely and will drive farther for one with descent employees. Long story short: Don't go here because you'll be treated with absolutely no respect. read more

I've been to this Wal-Mart a couple times and always have bad encounters... just my luck, right? So this one time, my brother and I went to Wal-mart around 10pm to exchange a camera (we had no idea that that department was closed though), but when we first got there, I guess there was supposed to be someone standing by the carts and they were supposed to give us a sticker, but no one was there (I had no idea). They left their work area unattended... so my brother and I thought, "oh well" let's just see what other cameras they have? We didn't find anything so we were leaving and a lady stops us saying that we stole the camera that we brought from home. I asked the lady working there if she would just check the receipt that I had in my hand... because it matched the description of the camera that I had! She refused to check it, but she kept yelling at me (saying that I was supposed to get a sticker earlier - but clearly no one was even there!!!). I asked her how we even "stole" the camera if all the drawers were locked up and everything. I got very frustrated and asked her what she wanted me to do then... she eventually got her supervisor, and he took one look at my receipt and says, "okay, you're good" & lets us leave. Was all that harassment necessary? I had another incident where I brought my little puppy inside Wal-Mart. I had her in there for at least half an hour... and other workers there were petting it and saying how cute she was. One lady noticed for a while that I had been carrying my puppy (no disturbances at all), but then she made me wait outside. What the??? I was okay with it, but why did she wait so long and then just make me leave??? read more

Dirty women's bathrooms with two doors out of 4 completely broken, poorly staffed, about 40 people in line and only 3 self check outs out of 8 open and only 2 registers open. Will never stop at this walmart again! The worst I've seen! read more

What a depressing experience! With 500 employees walking around you would think that someone was able to assist you right away. Yeah, no.

This Walmart is one of the busiest, most packed places around, you will never find a worker that can help you and you probably won't ever get to leave because the lines are so long. I know that Walmart isn't exactly known for being speedy, but I don't know why they bother selling frozen food here, there is NO way that it will still be frozen by the time you finally get done paying. read more

This is by far the worst wal-mart I have ever been to. Very messy and never organized. Never enough registers open...(like every other wal-Mart) there is never anybody in any department to help either. Always ask 3 times sometime 4 before somebody will assist. Went to the photo center and they said they were closed. The hours clearly stated they were open til 9 and they just closed at 5 because. The next time at the photo center waited 20 minutes before we had to literally track somebody down. HORRIBLE!!! read more

The cashiers here are polite. Everything else is horrible. Never organized, not enough cashiers open, way to many people.

The tire and lube department is just awful. Their customer service sucks. They take forever to get anything done and I've been sorted on services paid for several times. When I call to talk to a manager about it I get a very rude attitude. This place is just horrible. I have never been able to get anything done with them in under 3 hours. I will no longer use them. Such a frustrating store to go to. Despite their "reasonable" prices they always have a 6 person deep line at any given time. Going to Walmart is always a drag however going here is the worst. The store is always dirty, the customer service is the worst (slow, unfriendly, unwilling to help, they make you feel like as a customer you just annoy them), I got hit in the parking lot, there's never any registers open, and the layout of the site is very unorganized and hard to navigate which makes shopping frustrating. The only plus they had was that they carry Macayo brand Chiles, which I have been unable to find since I moved to CO. read more

This place is awful. It's always super crowded, super dirty, and finding help is nearly impossible. Ya know those stores you avoid because there's 10 different people not watching their ten kids...this is that type of store. This Walmart is very unprofessional, the workers don't help, and the environment is toxic. I interacted with workers who have told me about their experience since they started working and it's awful. Oil & Lube: It's been 2hrs and counting now for an oil change where I supplied the oil and filter (Mobil 1). When I arrived there was 1 vehicle in the bay, and one vehicle in front of me in line. Okay, that's, what? 45 minutes, tops? Both received an oil change. Two employees are working in the bay, and they are moving like slugs. The employee who is changing my oil took 7-10 minutes to verify in the filter manual that I provided the correct filter. Good on her for double-checking, yet, there's really no need since it's a customer provided part and anyone willing to provide their own oil/filter probably knows wtf is going on. Another 5 minutes to verify how much oil of the six quarts I provided goes into the 5.3L V8. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she's BRAND NEW TO THE JOB. Now she's checking how much of a charge my battery has.... Why? Fuck if I know. read more

1 star. This is a dirty and understaffed store. You will spend forever in checkout because there are only 2 or 3 lanes with cashiers open. Good luck finding someone to help you in any of the departments and if you do find someone good luck getting "help" from them. Made the mistake of coming here on my lunch to grab something to eat since I work close by. That was a mistake. With only two items, I waited in line for almost 15 minutes. The express lines only had 1 open, and three of the self check outs were out of order. To top it off, people in line like to bunch up together and sneakily try to cut in front of you in the confusion. Not only is some of the service pretty bad, but some of the people who shop there make the experience even more draining. read more
