When they're hot they're hot and when they're not they're not. My experience at this supercenter has run the gamut from smiles and a restoration in my faith in humanity because of friendly, competent employees who strove to go the extra mile all the way down to crushing disappointment with the occasional employee who really couldn't give a flip about anything. It really is a hit or miss kind of thing. But I remain eternally optimistic. I often wonder if this is just an Walmart thing or not. I can't understand why if something is available in several different flavors they either don't have the one that I want or are out of it. This doesn't seem to be unique to this store either. I've experienced it at Walmarts all around the country. In a similar vein, frequently when I find something that I like, it doesn't seem to take that long for them to discontinue it. Then when I ask the people in charge of that particular product, they all seem to shrug their shoulders and say "well that's just Corporate". So it all seems to also be the luck of the draw on whom you get to help you. Some of these employees seem to be very unhappy for whatever reasons and maybe they want to share. Personally, I would say that if you were not happy in your job then you should find a job that does make you happy. On the other hand, I have been fortunate to find some associates who are kind, helpful, patient, and wonderful and they have my deepest gratitude for all the ways they have helped me. They are stoic, dedicated, and devoted to their customers and I think Walmart should do everything in their power to keep them because they are the company's greatest asset. May God bless them each and every one of them. It's good to know that Walmart is an American company because in some ways it's a lot like the country itself. The stores are ginormous and while they may not have everything one might want, they've still got a lot of stuff! It's also made up of a lot of people from all over the world and they're working hard to feed their families and improve the company. I have shopped at this Walmart for years since it was built prior to that the old location on the corner of US1 and Indian Street. On Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, I was leaving the store/garden center with my purchase and receipt in hand when Joel the Walmart greeter asked to see my receipt....I had NO problem at all with providing him this information, he was doing his job. He then started questioning me about a product that didn't scan correctly on my receipt against the barcode on the box. I never even looked at what was scanned at the checkout lane I paid for the items I purchased. After he pointed out the discrepancy, I IMMEDIATELY, went to the Customer Service Counter to point out this. He/Joel the greeter all but ACCUSED me of theft in front of shoppers and other employees. I will not return. I'm not sure if it's the staff or the rude people that make shopping here unpleasant. I used to love Stuart, FL but the past 2 months my shopping experiences at this Walmart in Stuart have turned me off not only to Walmart but Stuart as well. Use to be able to make a shopping trip to Stuart in1-2 hours and now it seems as if shopping takes 4-5 hours just to find the things you need. What makes me not want to return to this Walmart are the rude drivers in the parking lot, the poorly marked prices of items on the shelves, and the lines at the Registers. The lines are notoriously long at Walmart so I used the self scanner. Well to cancel an item you need a cashier which defeats the self serve principle. An item i thought was one price was double when I got to the register. I was so frustrated I left all my items at the register and walked out. Perhaps it's this frustration that the shoppers feel that makes the display prices not representative. I recognize that the clerks have a difficult job, but I blame leadership for not properly motivating their staff so that the shopping experience could be more pleasant for all involved. read more

I ordered a tire online to be picked up at the Walmart in Stuart. I never received an email or a text letting me know it was in. When I went to inquire about it one of the attendants in the auto center was extremely rude and the clerk inside was practically helpless and uncaring. I had to go back online and reorder. Not to mention I'll need to call my credit card company to make sure I'm not double charged. I wouldn't be surprised if it got sent somewhere else. I usually have no issues at the Stuart Walmart, it seems like it's gone downhill since we first moved here in 2017. Everyone is friendly and they usually have what I need. But today my came to the drive up pickup window to pickup a small order that was ready two days ago, and waited for 45 minutes!!!! There were others waiting in line too. People who arrived later were served before others. Sadly this was a bad experience and should never happen for any business if the business goal is to serve the customer. Went there to do bill pay and the employee sent my money somewhere else. They apologized but did not seem to be very concerned. Not only was my bill not paid I was charged a $100 late fee because my money was sent somewhere else. This is the WORST Walmart I have ever been to. I am a Walmart + member and I order my groceries online and have them delivered to my home...FROM THIS STORE This week I added a small floor cleaner to my weekly order and it was delivered... no issues! I received my delivery on Thursday, 5/12 The floor cleaner was defective so I boxed it up and brought it back to this store on Saturday 5/14 and this is where the trouble began.... 1- They do not do an even exchange because for some reason they just don't... so I returned the item and we went to get another one. I received a credit for 179.99 total. 2. - I brought it back to the customer service area because the price on the same exact item was now 199.00. The woman behind the counter said that she would need to check with the manager to see if I could have it for a lower price.... can you believe this, the manager said NO and sent this poor woman back to me to tell me. As this was an unacceptable answer I went to get the manager and she then said she would do it this one time... WHAT???? 3- The Manager and the clerk then stood there and proceeded to tell me that when you order online that the prices are cheaper sometimes than in the store and that it is about the convenience of having them delivered to my home blah blah blah.... former employee here...I worked there a couple weeks, as a cashier. I know it sound easy and with this position comes an extremely fast paced situation (if you're trying to be a good employee) and walmart is cheap--so the a/c isn't turned up enough to cool the employees. Laying off Employees....Wal Mart Stuart wants all of it's customers to use their Scanning (less working people to hire) system. This past Tuesday on line, the cashier's machine had (another) problem. The check out woman tells the people waiting on line "Use the self check out" Not one person on line would go to it. Finally another Wal Mart employee opened another check out. Many times there are not enough check out employees (so they say) open they want all customers (SOON ALL CUSTOMERS) to use their system. In a hurry? The grocery pick up is excellent and saves you at least one hour a week. Will at the pharmacy is a tremendous asset. He goes above and beyond what is expected in the name of customer service. He called the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) twice to secure a vacation exemption for my mother who needed extra medications before leaving for a long trip out of the country. I paid cash for the meds (was initially declined a vacation waiver) and was pleasantly surprised when Will call me later to state he obtained a waiver after a self-initiated 2nd phone call to the PBM and I was able to get a refund. Will did not have to do that since I already paid and left. What a great employee and exemplary display of true customer service and conscientious follow through. read more

Don't use the Auto Center here. They ran over a nail when I had them change my battery and told me there was nothing they could do about it. Spent $160 for the battery and now I'm out $250 for the tire I have to get replaced. Told me the best they could do was a $40 gift card to Walmart. I had to go there for a booster seat for my granddaughter. I could not find anyone to give me a clue where they were located. Once I found one it was the display model and I waited patiently for a employee to help me get one. When I made it up to the front of the store there were sixteen cash registers with only TWO being serviced. Each one had a line of at least eight to ten customers waiting to cash out.
