This store has an issue when battery cores are brought into customer service for the vehicle battery core refund. It seems that Walmart.com customer service Vs the store do not agree on how, who or if they are refunding the core charge. Walmart.com Corporate customer service says return it, the store says they are wrong and they are unable to accept it. Poor customer service counter/ front end manager skills. Perhaps the store management and corporate Walmart should better train their customer service folks to understand how to handle a very simple vehicle battery core return. It's unfortunate, up until now, Walmart has actually provided very good customer service and improved their customer service over the last few years. I am unsure if this is an isolated issue with the customer service counter, an issue with the process (or lack their of), an issue with their system (as the Customer Service/ Front End Manager claimed) or just a training issue. Regardless, I hope they actually use this an a learning opportunity and train their customer service and front end manager. I think this Walmart's staff very helpful. Their associates are polite and more ready to assist than many Walmart's I have been in. Every time I have asked where something is they have turned around to take me there. Their pharmacy is light years better than other Walmarts. read more

Dogs sitting inside the carts, that what have to be stopped by the store!! It's disgusting: dog owners place them right inside the shopping carts with no any piece of cloth or paper under their asses, so welcome possible worms, e coli and other s..t to our food we put inside and our hands we touch parts of the carts. The guy working up front in front of the customer service/self scan area was EXTREMELY RUDE! I came in wanting to make a return and the return area was dark. He saw me standing there, I tried asking him if it was closed and he kept ignoring me and just looking at me like I was annoying him! He finally told me it was closed temporarily and they'd be right back. I waited a minute, said can I just go grab what I need and come back. He again ignored me. I had to go right in front of him and he said sure. Never told me it closed at a certain time (before the store closed!). I went shopping (just grabbing a few things), checked out, came back up and it was still dark. Stood there a few. He turns and looks at me and rudely says ma'am customer service is closed. He said he made an announcement. I heard no announcement. He says it always closes at 10, like I'm stupid and should know this. I'm sorry, I don't make returns on a regular basis and I do not know this! He could have told me they closed at 10 when I was waiting the first time. He was so extremely rude in his tone. I was back up there shortly after 10, like 10:05 maybe! And he knew I was coming back! VERY POOR customer service! I will make my return and y'all can forget me coming back to shop there again! I work in retail. I know it can be rough! I was not rude to this guy, was just trying to make a return! You need to treat your customers kindly, and with respect. Walmart in Columbia,Tn is the sorriest business i have ever been in. The employees look at you like you are stupid and it's such an imposition to answer any kind of question when help is needed. The deli workers look at you standing there as they make 5 trips walking in front of you. You have to yell to get any kind of help with an order you might have. Employees are too busy playing with their telephones or have ear buds in playing music. They walk away from shoppers who may have a question to find out where they have relocated an item for the 20th time. It's confusing where anything is any more. Employees look like they are inconveinced by even being in the store. You can't get any kind of help in any direction. We would all be better off if the was closed. Happened back in the summer of 2023. I scanned at self checkout and some white woman came out of nowhere and said I didn't scan an item. She did something and the item screen is now a tv screen monitor and replaying me on stores surveillance camera! Yes, bet you did not know that, did you...me neither! I explained that I scanned and it beeped and I put in bag, and if it didn't scan, it's Walmarts problem, not mine. The screen shows me scanning the item in question and putting in bag, just like I said. the white woman took it out of the bag , rescanned and left! The website for this store stated it was open on Saturday until 1am. It was not. Long drive to arrive at a closed store.

My daughter was sitting in the cart, this employee "Austin" said to my daughter and I quote "Aren't you too old to be sitting in the cart, or is it that you have a problem.." and also when we walked back around the food area he said, " not you again, how dare you bring me this brat." I only go for the pharmacy and clothes shopping. Occasionally, we get grocery from there. Right now I am sitting in the lane and have been 20-30 minutes which is way too long for anyone. I went to get a car wash to hurry up the waiting process. I am the second car in the line with cars behind me. This is uncalled for. I waited a total of 1 hour. I even pressed the call button multiple times. Then I got fed up and called the pharmacy to tell them I'm here. Eric said the people inside trump the drive through customers. I am switching to Target. Target delivers not only groceries I hear. The second lane isn't even open. It's broken. When I lived in Franklin, theirs was ten times faster. So i create a walmart.com user account and i search for google chromecast and i purchase a google chrome cast 2 as a Christmas present. I get a confirmation email saying i bought a google chrome cast 2. So i call walmart "customer service" and ask why my item was delivered to Minnesota... they said that I apparently bought the item from a 3rd party vendor. I said that's pretty bad that I bought it without even knowing i was buying this from a 3rd party but still needed the item shipped to the address I put in... They let me know that I needed to contact the 3rd party vendor... and he gives me a phone number to call. So I call the 3rd party vendor and get a computer recorded message saying that they cant pickup the phone (got same message 3 times) so I left a voice mail message... I get no call back... Then I actually received a package to my surprise and delight! I open it and i get this... http://prntscr.com/hmhawh A MiraScreen... All i know is i didn't order a MiraScreen i ordered a google chromecast. So i call walmart back again and explain i got the wrong product. The lady tells me that she will fill out a ticket to have a manager contact me back within 1 - 2 business days and then hangs up on me. I promptly call back and ask to be transferred to a manager and the new lady transfers me right away... I explain to the manager that I ordered a google choromecast... the confirmation email says google chromecast and that's what i would like. She says we need to give the vendor 24 hours to "make it right". I get an email in the middle of the night full of typos saying that they are sorry they shipped to the wrong address and a new one should arrive soon and they provided a tracking code... for the item i already received... I called Walmart back for now the 4th time. I have to fight with the lady to transfer me to a manager... i have to explain all over again to the manager whats going on... i get transferred to an "Escalation Manager". I explain what happened to the escalation manager and he promptly tells me that i got what i ordered... So apparently the item title is "For Google Chromecast 2" which actually means that its not a Google Chromecast 2 but is an imitation that looks just like it. So that I got the item i actually ordered. I explained how misleading that is that Walmart would allow 3rd party vendors to sell products on walmart.com with the title of another product and that I'm sure Google would be happy to hear walmart is selling knock off Google Chrome Casts and calling them Google Chromecast. He said he wanted to call the 3rd party again to ask for a refund. I said go ahead they are in china and aren't going to pickup... which they didn't. So he said he would issue me a refund for the misleading advertising. I told him I didn't want a refund... i wanted the item I ordered... he said he couldn't send me a google chromecast because those cost a few dollars more than the fake item I purchased off their website. So after 4 phone calls 9 transfers over 3 hours working on this I am right back where i started had i never purchased the item from Walmart. Never again... will i be shopping at Walmart. read more

It's new, it's spacious, but it's Wal-Mart. Give it time and soon this building will resemble every other Wally World out there. However, I don't go here for the bad service or crying children, no I go here for the wide range of items, the lowest price and aisles and aisles of merchandise. The pros are always the same for any Wal-Mart, good prices and the large quantity of items. This one is lucky to have a grocery section which makes it more unique however most Wal-Marts have this now. The cons are again all the same. Poor service, which I can't blame due to the horrible way Wal-Mart treats it's employees. Then there's the people of Walmart, I mean there's a website dedicated to the many characters that frequent this place. If you are self sufficient and can keep your eyes from wandering from person to person (unless you enjoy people watching like myself) then you can overcome these downfalls. read more

This review is for Walmart's online order and pickup service. This seems like a service fraught with disaster but Walmart has figured it out nicely. After you go online and place your order you can select the day and time to pick up. The weekends get busy so don't expect to order and pick up on a Saturday morning. If they don't have an item they will substitute a like item, with probably a higher quantity. We will continue to use the service. More items are out of inventory on weekend orders and the signs into the place are sort of squirrelly, so that is why I posted four stars. But the service is very well done and will save you a ton of grocery shopping time. read more

Everything is new and clean. The staff is a little distant if you ask a question, they don't appear helpful, it is kind of like you are disturbing their day to ask a question. I have been going to there for a couple of months. The convenience and price is why we sometimes shop there. I really wish they could improve on helpfulness and friendliness. read more

I just did Walmart grocery pickup for the first time. I was supposed to pick up my groceries between 5 and 6pm, and at 4:30 I got a text that my order was available for pickup. I called and said I was on my way, I was instructed to call when I was in the lot. I called when I was in the parking lot, and Buddy was in the lot with my groceries in less than 60 seconds. He greeted me, and even asked how to pronounce my last name for "next time". He made sure to check with me about my produce being fresh and asked me whether or not I wanted my eggs in the front seat with me. He also showed me the one substitution they had to make, which was great, as I did allow substitutions on my purchase. I even got a Mother's Day card and little care package; I'm not a mother, but it was a sweet gesture. Walmart has gained my grocery buying business! read more

I am VEERY dissatisfied with this Walmart. I went in on 01/01/2015 to shop for my daughters one year birthday party. I went to get a poster board and they were out of the color I needed so I asked a lady near by who worked there if they happen to have any more and she said I don't know I'm just a cashier and kept walking! So then I went to another lady who looked like she was working in that area and she very rudely told me whats out is out they restock tonight and I could get it tomorrow, didn't bother to call someone else or look it up. Well then I went to the photo dept. to pick up my online order(I placed around lunch for same day pick up) some 4x6's and a poster well they said the poster wasn't ready but I could pay for the whole order and take my 4x6's and pick up poster tomorrow so that's what I did. When I got home it only had 4 pictures out of the 50 I ordered! Well on 01-02-2015 I went back to pick up the poster and missing pictures and they completely messed up the poster and the cashier Alex could not fix it so I simply and CALMLY asked for a refund which they couldn't seem to do so sent me to the customer service where they( customer service cashier Will and manager Brandon) acted so rude as if I was a bother and stupid. After 15 minutes explaining, showing receipts, and even my online pay in store receipts they wouldn't refund me saying that the computer says I had been refunded online.......HOW I SELECTED PAY IN STORE AND PAID IN ADVANCE THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!!!! I will not be back there and I will be calling the store owner because for 2 days in a row I had nothing but rudeness and complete unmannerly behavior, what happen to treating the customer with respect and kindness. I was kind and respectful up until they said we aren't refunding you then I wasn't nice. I paid them for a poster which was late and I don't have and was treated like crap! You can have a beautiful store with nice wide isles and great prices but if you treat your customers poorly you won't have a store for long.....Oh and I went to Walgreens where I got it cheaper and 10 minutes later plus they were super friendly and super helpful !!!
