I shop here when I need to. It's not the first choice I pick. Every time I come here is a bad experience and I've been going to this location for 15 years. I was at self-checkout once, and the screen prompted me to rate my experience from 0-5 stars. I kid you not, and employee walked up and pressed the 5 stars and walked away. There were times when the price of something wouldn't match the price I'd get when the item was scanned, so I brought it to their attention. They told me to put it back since they can't help me. A couple of times, I was treated as a thief even though I was holding a receipt in my hand and the employee stopped me and had to look at my receipt even though they literally watched me check out and wait for my receipt to print. I once found an open moisturizer with most of the contents taken out and brought it to an employee's attention. She said, thanks for letting me know, and then proceeded to put it back on the shelf and walked away. Employees are rude and disrespectful and store is always a mess with items not even put up. This Walmart just happened to be in the area I was currently in, and I was happy I stopped by to make a quick return and grabbed some wings from the deli! Return was a quick and easy process without any issues. Stopped by the deli a few times however I kept getting caught behind customers ordering the same wings I wanted to buy. Each time I decided to come back, I was stuck behind another person. After the second person, I decided okay the wings are running out, I should stay here before it's all gone. By the time I was next, the wings leftover wasn't worth purchasing... mind you 12 wings is about $15+. I asked if they could make me a fresh back, and that they did! No questions asked! Took them about 7 mins and I came back in 10, just in time for them to set them out. The guy picked me out the best wings and I was super happy! Definitely will be stopping by here again for my wings craving if I am ever back in this area! read more

Just picked up our groceries at their curbside and was surprised that they gave us a bag full of free samples of a variety of items! We loved it. Everytime I have been to this walmart it is a terrible experience. I do not recommend this walmart to anyone. Called the store to speak to literally anyone, I was near the pharmacy and needed an item out of the locked section and there was a short lady with glasses with 2or 3 red hearts on the sides of the frames and her hair in 3 large twists, who absolutely scoffed at me like i didn't deserve the items inside after i asked. Not one welcome as i walk into this walmart and it is always a disaster inside when i am here. When i called to make a complaint about this short worker i sat on the phone for over 30 minutes with it just ringing even while i am writing this review it is still simply "ringing", i would also like to add the first time i called and sat on the phone it was answered and i was hung up on seconds later - let alone calling multiple different departments and told they couldn't not transfer me. Ridiculous, as if i have never used a phone before. When i worked here many years ago your job was to make someone's day better as you never know what someone is going through. Never will this Walmart location ever receive another dime from me. So disappointed. read more

Steer clear of this Walmart. My son was down in Texas for school; mind you he lives in a very good neighborhood and makes decent money while a student. He went grocery shopping there and out of nowhere security surrounded him embarrassed him demean him and said they saw him stealing on the self check out line. They took him to a back room searched through his order and found a nine dollar pizza was not scanned out of a $200 . They accused him of stealing even when he said he must've mistakenly forgot to scan it; Mind you this mistake could've happened to anyone and he had about 3 of the same pizzas which We're all on the receipt. Even the police officer that they called after they found the pizza thought they acted extremely unprofessional. He has never be a cashier a day in his life; if Walmart wants us to be 10 star cashiers they should pay us instead of Their profiling team of security. read more

DO NOT order online with in store pickup of groceries during this COVID!!!!! It's a nightmare. First you chose a time and day for pick up and when you get there it's a mad house. I waited 45 minutes in a traffic line before being able to go into a pick stall. I checked in via the app on my phone 25 minutes later a teenager with a wipe board came out asking everyone's names. When I gave mine the kid goes yea I saw your name back there I'll be right back. 15 to 20 minutes later another kid came and asked again for our names and wrote it on a wipe board. Then the kid comes back out 10 minutes later and told me my order hadn't even been picked yet so rather then me waiting however long I should go home and come back early in the morning to get my order. So I left hot and frustrated but it was fine. As I was leaving there were 30 or 40 cars now backed up waiting for pick up orders. Once home I was checking my email and I had received a "Thank you for Shopping Walmart" in it it stated I had picked up my order. Well that was concerning since my card had also already been charged as well for food I didn't get. So I called Corporate Customer Service the lady was surprised by all this, wrote a incident report to be sent to a Supervisor, and I would be contacted in the morning if I wasn't I should call them before going back to see about my order. By almost noon no call came so I called again. I was then told it would take 3 to 4 days for a investigation he then told me he would contact the store to see if they would redo the order. He got no answer and I was told not to bother going to pick up my groceries. So I said ok fine I want the charges refunded because I can't wait 2 days and not to mention there were a few items out of stock and I was still being charged the full amount. I also asked didn't they need a signature of something to pick up. I was told no I just need to show my id and order number. So now confused how they are gonna prove or disapprove I didn't receive my order. So yes this is a nightmare and I will not repeat the same mistake. So please order at your own risk! I HATE going to this Walmart. The staff is the worst staff in the entire world. They are rude, have such an attitude and they clearly hate their job. If I ask a cashier a simple question on Monday and ask the same exact question to another cashier on Tuesday, I would two completely different answers. This review is specifically for the order pickup process. It is terrible. No matter when they tell you it is ready for pickup, you will still wait 30-40 minutes after checking in to receive your order. They are always behind. Then, the last 4 orders I've placed none have been ready at the timeframe selected. Once it never even got fulfilled and I had to cancel it. I'd rather go to another company with a two hour pickup to know that I'm going to get it when I needed. Makes me want to cancel my Walmart card as well. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else or do your shopping in store. read more

I went in to return an online order. The soda being sold on walmart.com was diet rite. On the website it said 2 groups on 12 packs. The cost was $21 ea group totaling $42. When I got it the ship was 2 twelve can boxes (normally $3.33 ea). The cost was $42 for the 2 twelve packs. Ridiculous! I went to this Walmart supercenter to return Upon arriving, the greeter at door was gossiping with another Walmart worker, finally she took a breath enough to tell me I need a return sticker. She kept gossiping until I said I want my sticker, finally she wrote it. Poor impression! Then I get to return desk, after a half an hour they were trying to get the printer for a label to work. Never did, so I left without returning the soda. This store is poor, where are the managers to check on what's going on there? I'll never be back idiots in charge there. read more

I can honestly say that I didn't think I'd ever be reviewing a local Walmart. But when my husband received a sizable gift card to the store, we ventured to this location to cash it in on items that I surmised I could get for a good price. I was surprised on a number of levels. Parking lot: A toddler using a crayon and a huge piece of blank paper must have initially designed this parking lot. Random curves and intersections must have looked awfully enticing to the engineer who got ahold of the drawing and decided to use it. Now two- and three-ton vehicles get to meander and play loop-de-loop through this lot while trying to avoid impacting each other. Layout of the store: One would think that all grocery and household items would be near each other; however, they are not. Health and beauty items are on one side of the store while paper goods, cleaning supplies, canned goods and all other groceries are grouped together on the opposite end of the store. A stroll through very narrow aisles of the clothing and soft goods department is required; these aisles are cluttered with sawhorse-style racks (yes, built out of raw lumber) holding various items for sale. If one person with a shopping cart stops to peruse the offerings, that side of the aisle is completely blocked. Place one person on each side of the sawhorse and now you have a complete aisle traffic jam. A walk through tacky undies and bras is then compulsory. Selection: I was unimpressed with the variety of offerings. I went in for common items: bleach, tissues, cleaning supplies, shampoo. I've seen more choices at Target or HEB. A walk through their frozen food section revealed an extraordinary amount of pre-prepared ("big box" restaurant) food. Very few healthy choices. I did not look at produce, as I had no intention of purchasing any of it. Prices: Moderate to negligible savings. Tissues were within pennies of the price HEB charges; bleach and detergent prices were similar. Shampoo savings was small. Several items I had intended to purchase never made it in my cart, as I discovered Walmart charged more that I was accustomed to paying. Appearance/presentation of the store: Relatively clean with many employees about, but very few that you seemed to be able to grab to ask a question. Would I have gone there without the gift card? No. Will I return? Most likely I won't. I would need an awfully good reason (other than the enticement to perhaps save a quarter or so on 20 items) to brave that parking lot, walk the entire store and choose from their somewhat limited selection. I'd rather spend my money at other merchants' establishments. However, I'm giving this Walmart 3 stars because at least I didn't feel like I needed to take a shower after I left. read more

I was hit by a roll of grocery carts while trying to get into a scooter. The kids pushing the carts in shoved them from the outside and they came crashing into me. They did not apologize nor did they want to file an incident report. I had to insist on a manager. Finally the manager came out and finally started the incident report. After about 45 minutes of filling it out on his tablet he said I would get an email with all of the info, but I did not get an email. I am 3 weeks out of surgery and this is why I needed a scooter and now I'm bruised from my arm and my ribs and leg hurt as well from the impact. The people here are not trained properly and have no manners and now I find out are liars too since I never got the email with my incident information. read more

This location is under staffed and in desperate need of a face lift and new management direction. Store: Needs to be better organized and stocked in a timely fashion. It doesn't matter what time of the day or night you will always find palettes of product in the middle of a walk way. This is super frustrating when pushing a cart. Under staffed: Not only is stocking an issue but there are never enough cashiers. They have now installed more self check lanes to cut cost I'm sure. If you don't mind spending over an hour to pickup a few items you might save a buck or two. My time is just more valuable to me. read more

I guess I lost my money and my items that I purchased. This Walmart has the most nasty and rude employees. It's not that hard to answer a phone and even if you are busy I wouldn't mind being on hold. Really this is getting seriously lame. My humans are very frustrated with their experience here. Typically on a Saturday am they have ONE register staffed and open. They are pushing humans to self check. That is fine, but give the humans a 1 % discount or something as WalMart is saving $$ on headcount pass along the savings for the loss of customer service. I love how the online site can look up the exact car battery for my truck, let me know what size, and accurate pricing. I dislike how I tried to locate the battery at my nearest location and they falsely told me an inaccurate sold out of store. This store in particular. Lovely location, good amount of parking space, COFFEE MACHINE!!!!!!! I came about 2:20pm and there is an hour wait. So if you want to be in and out get here early. The parking lot is trashy. Went to the Wal-Mart Auto Center to get my oil changed and that will be the last time I go there for that service. The mechanics left oil stains all over my steering wheel, door handles and carpet. My Toyota Tundra now leaks oil all over my drive way.... I believe that they either failed to replace the oil gaskets on the oil filter, or failed to install them at all; either way my Truck now leaks oil and I paid $68 to have this done to my truck. Unacceptable!!!! I recommend you go elsewhere to get your car worked on; these mechanics are not professionals in my opinion. read more

I usually do my grocery shopping in the evening around 7pm. It's extremely frustrating when a lot of the things I need to buy are not on the shelves because they don't restock things throughout the day. Seven in the evening is not even that late! I know, I know. It's difficult to keep everything available throughout the day, and who could keep track? Why don't I just ask someone, right? It's nearly impossible to find any employees around. And the ones I do see rush by so quickly with a look on their faces like they've smelled something horrible. (It's not me, I swear!) But I guess I shouldn't be expecting so much of Walmart. In the meantime you need to dodge weird looking people (see peopleofwalmart.com for a clue) with baskets full of this crap that nobody needs. Where do they have room for that in their doublewide?! A decade ago I remember going to walmart because it was convenient. Now it's just a headache. The good news is that there's a really nice Kroger right across the street, so if you walk two steps in to this place and lose your nerve, normalcy isn't far! read more

Go to the Walmarts that are AWAY from the major freeways and you get a cleaner, nicer, and non-ghetto Wally World experience. This Walmart is close to my house and has everything I need for my family. No matter what time of the day we go, we get good service and lots of good stuff left that are on Clearance! Score! I used to love to shop at this Walmart 7 years ago, however, now it becomes very unorganized since they re-painted and re-organized the whole store. You can find kitchen things hanging way some place else. If you saw things at one place, there is no guarantee you will find them at the same place the next time. We're normally shop here at night since it's less crowded so you don't have to pump into people every minute. However, now it become a big issue...because you can't find any help. Even during the day time, it's still pretty hard to get some help. If you're lucky enough to find someone to help you, don't expect they will be helpful. They might just say "it's over there" by pointing to the air in some direction. Not all employees like that, but most learn how to serve the customers the same way....just like that! Ah, check for the expiration. A lot of expired products never got removed from the shelves. read more

This walmart is MUCH nicer than other locations like the one on I-45 or 1960. But that being said, it's still a walmart and susceptible to all the strange people that like to shop there. I don't buy grocery's at any walmart, so I can't even comment on that side of the store. I usually stay around the sporting goods / outdoors / household / clothes. That being said, overall that part of the store is usually quite nice. There is a great guy that is almost always working in the sporting goods area (I think his name is Chris), that is EXTREMELY helpful, even when I'm trying to find something elsewhere in the store. He really goes the extra mile and if every employee was as nice and helpful as him then Walmart would crush every other retailer out there and leave nothing in their wake. Besides that, this walmart is really no different than others in what they offer. I like to go during a weekday as there is usually a LOT less people there (even though the parking lot is gigantic). Getting in & out of this location is also easy too, plenty of entrances off the adjacent roads. read more
