I needed to get some Walmart things, you know like detergent, candles, toothpaste etc. This is why I love my occupation, I get to see, experience, scratch off my bucket list and I'm what they call WELL ROUNDED. This particular Walmart sits off the highway, I mean I'm was going 65 mph in the fast lane and up pops this Walmart. Weird to me because it literally sits off the high, it's not like I got off the expressway hahaha see my new verbiage aka fwy/highway? Getting back on was another challenge, it was like the video game Frogie--am I telling my age? I'm sure but babaaa, I damn sure don't look it! Yeah, I be trying to keep up with 2024! Ok, so I visited this Walmart in Massachusetts and it was weird parking underground, luckily it was early am so I was able to park close. Wherever and whenever I park, I'm always looking for camera's and they had plenty. I like that because that's SAFETY, we have to be safe, watch your surroundings or your family members won't have answers--if you catch my drift. Anywho, this Walmart had all my speciality item I get when I'm in Texas, again if you follow me...many States don't have items/brands I'm accustomed to. The store was clean, stock and neat shelves. I found some Spring Rolls which I couldn't find in their local grocery stores. Walmart Supercenter - Never been to a Walmart with an underground garage. - Grocery Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

There is absolutely nothing super about the Walmart Supercenter in Saugus, MA. The only thing remotely close to super at the Walmart Supercenter in Saugus, is their high margin of error, pulling walmart.com orders for delivery. The frequency that we have encountered errors in the orders fulfilled by the Saugus, MA Walmart Supercenter is unprecedented. It is clear that the Walmart Supercenter in Saugus has incapable, incompetent employees, supervisors, and managers, and no effective quality assurance program over their on-line order fulfillment. As bad as the Walmart Supercenter is in Saugus, the CHAT people at the other end of the Walmart website are as bad, if not worse. Rather than fix an incomplete delivery, the CHAT person that I dealt with said the best he could do is deliver the missing items, 2 days later; not the same day as the incomplete order, not the next day, but 2 days later. I gave up, and accepted a refund. Oddly enough, I placed a new order at www.walmart.com, and that order was fulfilled, and delivered, the next day. How could that be? This Walmart is a Supercenter. It is located on the northbound side of Route one Saugus. They have open parking underneath the building that's covered. There was a large entrance with escalators leading up into the store. This escalator system also has a carriage escalator for going down only which is very convenient for large full carriages. There is also access by elevator. Once entering the store, the grocery section is over to the right. The fruits and vegetables are usually laid out nicely and looks pretty clean. There's also a very small deli where they can slice you. There is a prepackaged meat section. Take your chances. Then many many isles of grocery and food type items. Basically like a huge supermarket. if you go further down to the straight ahead or left, you will enter the regular isles of the store and it would be set up like every Walmart in your town. I have been here numerous times to go to Walmart to get some. That being said I have had many bad experiences with customer service.. It just doesn't seem to exist at this location. Most of the employees on the floor can't even answer a simple question because they don't speak English. The clerks at the register two out of 10 are polite, courteous, and do their job correctly. The customer service area they're just rude and ignorant as were the two managers I spoke with. I actually tried to call corporate one day because one of the managers were so inconsiderate, rude mean and thinking they were some kind of big shot. Never seen a manager act like this. Maybe they shouldn't as managers until they get better people skills. That being said, the pricing is the same as every Walmart in the area. Items usually look fully stocked. Electronics you will never find anyone to help you except people trying to sell your phone service that don't work for Walmart. All be like me and just go there when it is a necessity.. read more

I walked in to this Walmart and I have to say that it was absolutely Horrific. The first incident happened while in an isle I was bumped twice by a woman worker who was about 5' tall and a black Hispanic and she said absolutely nothing. No Excuse me and No apologies just Ignorance. The second incident happened when I asked another employee who was also Hispanic where the bars of soap were and did not understand English and the situation got worse when she asked her co-worker also Hispanic and also didn't understand English therefore No Help. I was perplexed because I believed I was in The United States of America where English is the primary language. Bigger Walmart than the other one close to me. They have a lot of selection for grocery to buy as well. They also close late so it's good to come here when it's downtime. I love coming here because this is where I get my supply of yakult lol some grocery and stuff for my kids as well. Prices vary. Some of them are cheaper than the other stores but some aren't really that cheap. Convenient and it's right off the highway which is 10 mins from me. I'm sure I'll come back more for another grocery trip. read more

Receipt Checks = Racial Profiling? As a frequent visitor of this Walmart, I have noticed that the receipt check line before exiting the store is selective. As a white woman, I have never been asked to show my receipt. Even with a cart full of merchandise. I just find it odd, and as I was using the self checkout today, I was trying to pay attention to who was being asked to show their receipts. I only saw black and Latin people being asked to show their receipts, and then the employee will dig through all of their bags pretty intensely before they are allowed to leave the store. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I almost asked the employee, "why didn't you ask to see my receipt?" but I decided not to and instead to post my thoughts here. I purchased a new table set with four chairs in early April. also purchased two year protection plan and in the third month as you can see the tabletop is cracking off. The insurance company Walmart uses tells me lacquer table top. I'm not covered not covered only mechanical defects.. This is a wood. What could be mechanically wrong with it?. Walmart tells me the vendor JINNUI will need to resolve, but I cannot seem to get them to contact me. Although Walmart claims they've been emailing me and I'm not responding.THIS IS NOT TRUE. Wal-Mart in Saugus, Ma 12/01/2023 10pm boyfriend and I went there to return a tent we had purchased a couple weeks ago. The tent is in the original packaging and everything inside is still in packaging. We had paid with cash and No longer have the receipt but, I have a valid passport. So we're standing in line already feeling like complete outcasts because we were the only people no speaking Spanish. THEN they ask if they could help us and my boyfriend tells the customer service lady that we bought this tent a couple weeks ago and we just want to exchange it or receive store credit, I had already placed my passport on the counter. She immediately calls her manager over and started speaking Spanish to him. He asks us if we payed with a card we both said no we paid cash and no longer have the receipt. He says we don't do exchanges we only do store credit. I said well that's what we were trying to do. We aren't trying to get cash back we just have no use for this tent. He said No this is $99.99 we can't do that. My boyfriend then asked if we could at least have a sticker so we werent hassled when we leave about it being stolen, they denied that request as well. From the moment we stepped in there they judge us. Based on the fact that we had backpacks on, they thought we stole the tent, which isn't the case at all. I can even recall what other items we purchased at the same time the night we bought he tent. Sour gummy bears, Nerd clusters, an orange Fanta soda. And if it were stolen I definitely wouldn't walk in there with my own passport, that's just insane. What can I say, other than I love this Walmart. It's right off of route 1 and if you don't look closely you may miss the turn. But there's parking, lots of it! There are groceries and fresh produce here. Prices are excellent. Today I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The shelves are well stocked and I almost always get what I need when I come here. It's easier than ever now to pickup your online orders (including all grocery items like deli, bakery, frozen foods, and produce). If I could select zero stars I gladly would. This is my second experience at this store for a pick up order. First time was 6-7 years ago. It was so horrible that first time, I never went back. Yesterday, I went back because the food items I needed were not available at my local store because it's not a superstore. I have to do pickup since I'm a 64 year old woman on chemo. First experience, I waited an hour...in my car...to get my order. No need to ever go back there again, until yesterday. Because of the enormous price hikes on food, I'm stocking up my pantry and frozen items. The superstore is the only place to get certain items that other Walmarts do not carry. I thought perhaps years later things might have changed. I was wrong. There was no problem having someone get out to my car with my order but this time, my very large order was stuffed into 2 paper grocery bags. 8 of the items are cans. I could tell the man putting items in my trunk was holding the bags awkwardly, straddling them in his arms and bending way over to get them in. I assumed they were heavy and that was the only way he could get them in. As I pulled out of the store, driving slowly through the parking garage, I could hear everything in my trunk crashing around. I pulled into a space and opened my trunk. Within 15 seconds of driving at 10 mph, my trunk looked as though something exploded and smashed most of my items. Obviously, the bags he put into my trunk were in pieces. They were ripped as he placed them in my trunk and he didn't care. I had 2 bags of cornmeal open, smashed boxes of instant mashed potatoes, frozen peas rolling around, smashed candy bars, etc. That does not happen in mere seconds of driving at 10 mph. Obviously, the cans were placed on top of these items when bagging them. I also had 2 heavy glass jars. Had I not stopped, those jars full of jam would have also been all over the trunk of my car. Since I cannot go into the store, and no one answers their phone at this store, I had no choice but to go home, go online, and get a refund. When I tried to do that, a rep in chat told me I had to go back to the store, carry these items into the store (with no bags to put them in), and return the items for a refund. I have given Walmart I. Nort Reading more than the benefit of the doubt. I bought an Xbox Series One S and the person working that day was ver rude. I knew before looking that the Xbox would be locked up. He insisted on just telling me what aisle it was in. After about 8 minutes waiting I went back and asked if he was going to open the case if he wanted me to get creative. He opened it and literally didn't say another word. I knew that dues to the unit having a smal hard drive built in I would need an ssd drive for adding games. He sold me a drive telling me it was the correct one. Stupidly I believed him because I was already running late from the initial wait. I got home and it was a standard hard drive and it wasn't compatible. I decided to return it and luckily PS5rest occurred the next week. Today I went there to pick up Beats by Dre Solo PRO headphones they were also locked up and the person different guy did not want to come and open the case. I waited and tried to get another worker to help me. This gentleman spoke to the other worker and in Spanish he called me a profane name. madicon. N no it sure how to spell it but it means derogatory for homosexual. I was extremely frustrated but due to the price I bought the headphone. Turned out they aren't as good as the studio model so I returned them and bought the Studio 3 from Best Buy. It's say to say I won't be buying any more electronics at Walmart anymore. read more

I hate Walmart. Yes. I am one of those people who do not think that this is the place to be. In fact, I cringe every time my roommate wants to go there. I think most of this has to do with the fact that the store is not very intuitive and you have to wander around aimlessly for a while before you find what you are looking for. An example of this would be finding sparkling water in a different aisle than the one that clearly says "Water," The only reason I go here is because they have Fuji Apple sparkling water, tank tops for like $2 and pajama shorts that are like $5. So, basically I can be cute and lounge around my house drinking tasty water for $8. Besides those things, chili flavored Ramen, Dial body wash and huge bottles of dish soap for cheap, I have no other reason to be in there. A Walmart is a Walmart. This Walmart has an escalator in it, which you take to get you to the store upstairs. It also has a big parking garage. The toy section is abysmal. There are hardly any toys and games. The food is OK. They have a decent selection of gluten-free food, and they also have a fresh food and produce section. The lighting is terrible and migraine-inducing. It also smells like McDonald's in there, even though there isn't one. It's gross. read more

Walmart in Saugus with your funky parking Arrangement and fun-to-drive shopping cart section, I really want to try to like you. Yeah, I came here after Christmas just to see what was there and actually needed to pick up a few things non holiday-related. It wasn't that busy, but the place was a good show. Everything was everywhere as if they shut the doors on Christmas Eve and didn't even bother to clean up. I've been waiting 4 days now for someone from the bakery to give me a call about an order I left. Every time I call I'm on hold for more than 20 minutes with no help! Not to mention I was shopping and I wanted to purchase a deep freezer and when I asked an associate for helped she huffed and puffed and acted as if I was bothering her! I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and had to lift the deep freezer with my 11 year old son. On my way out not one associate asked if they could help with the heavy deep freezer! I work at a non profit and came here to purchase an electronics item. I went to customer service with the card, and no one could figure out how to make my item tax free. This cashier asked a manager who ended up leaving in the middle of the process. The cashier then spent the entire transaction whining about how she would no longer work at customer service anymore and that the store better move her somewhere else. This transaction took nearly 15 minutes. Had it been my money, I would have just paid tax to get out of there. I was not given a bag and as I walked out, the security guard chased me down to have me show him a receipt. First of all, this practice is not legal (only at stores where you pay to be a member). I did not appreciate feeling treated like a thief for no reason. On other instances shopping here, they never have enough registers open. You'll spend an entire afternoon at the self checkout where they do not have anyone assisting people who think it is appropriate to go through there with a full cart. read more
