I found several action figures clearly placed in the clearance section. Got to the register -- they rang up full price at $35 each. When I asked why, Manager Amber told me: "We put a lot of things in the clearance aisle that aren't actually on clearance because they don't have a home." I'm sorry... what kind of logic is that? A clearance aisle should have clearance items, not random full-price merchandise tossed in because there's "no home" for it. That's misleading and honestly feels like a bait-and-switch. 1 star. Omg. Just went to the Walmart in Princeton to pick up an online order. While there, I go to pickup a few more items and I see a lady walking toward me and she asked the question is that a snake? I immediately look down, preparing to run. Then I notice the lady walking a little ways in front of me. There it is, a snack around her neck and she has a little girl with her. I immediately make my way to the front to check out and ask for the Mgr. I told him what I saw and informed him where I saw her. The Mgr stated they did not allow snakes in the store and he was as shocked as I was. He got on his radio and called someone and started walking in the direction I gave him. Worst store ever! I get an email saying my in store.Pick up items were picked up. I call customer service back to find out by who because I'm The Only person that's supposed to pick it up.Aren't they supposed to check Id? You can't directly call the store to report it. If you call the 1800 number, somebody will say to wait 7 to ten days for an answer all while somebody else has your items. Had to call customer service back to get a more useful person to help you. And ofcourse. Replacement is possible. Lazy workers man! read more

This is the worst Walmart in Texas. The manager should be fired. The grocery store never stocks it's shelves. Usually only 1 checkout counter manned. The people in the garden center don't know what they have in stock. The automotive department is often out of the pit crew oil for my Ford and Mercury vehicles. In 4 out of 5 visits to this store, I ended up going to the Mckinney Redbud store to get what I wanted. Princeton Walmart gasoline prices do not compete with nearby stations. They are $.20 higher than the Convenience store at SH 121 and TX 160. If all Wally World stores were this bad, I'd never do business with Walmart again. The Stores in McKinney and Anna are nothing to brag about, but are much easier to do business with. I went to the Princeton store today to buy a car battery. I stopped by the door to drop off the old battery. I had not exited the car before some Bimbo charged out and snarled "You need to move your car". I said "I'm just dropping off my old battery." She yelled "You need to move your car now." I decided to get away from this DEI woke stuff. I drove to the McKinney store. I used my handicapped sticker to park next to the store. I carried in my old battery, selected the replacement, paid, and was on my way in 5 minutes. The counter lady was polite and competent. That was what should have happened at the princeton store. I have had a hip replacement and find it difficult to carry batteries long distances. Princeton would be better off without Walmart. This is my closest Walmart, but will be my "Don't got to store". read more

The whole thing is a sh*t show the employees try their best to not be friendly or helpful. I'm not joking I don't think you're allowed to work here with an IQ over 80. Everyone's rude and trying to interact with customers as little as possible. The likes are crazy long and instead of opening more cash registers they have 50+ people doing absolutely nothing all around the store. I won't give this Walmart my money anymore. Ultimately it comes down to management the manager isn't doing a good enough job managing the team, hiring the team, firing the team, and training the team. The woman looking over my receipt as I left made fun of me for the amount I paid for a planter and said I was crazy. I told her I like a nice lawn; it was none of her business. By the looks of her complexion and teeth, she was a smoker. I'm sure she spends more on cigarettes each month than I did on a planter that will last me for years. This happened at approximately 2:30 this afternoon. I started calling Walmart in Princeton at 3:00 and I've yet to speak to an actual person. Their customer service sucks! read more

Shout out to the grocery pick-up crew at Wal-Mart in Princeton TX. Their system went down for a few hours and they've had to play catch up. I've been waiting for my groceries for 45 min now, watching this crew run ragged taking groceries out to cars as fast as they can. Yes, the wait stinks but I'm impressed with what I see. POS machines do not work, have to get manager to use my credit card at this location. issues over past 3 mos, employees are not helpful, have to get a manager every time. same cc used at pharmacy, without issue. won't work at gas pump either. CC used at Brookshires, where we have to do our shopping now! Also phone system doesn't work either, can't speak to "associate" goes to blank air space. read more

I would give less stats if I could. We do delivery all the time. It is pointless to get produce through delivery. They literally delivered 5 rotten, bruised and damaged apples. They should have never been picked or even out in the store with the quality they were. read more

Customer service is ridiculous. So much is locked up now, no one has a key to get anything in electronics. Electronics closes at 10pm, but nothing posted about it nor do they stay there until 10pm. Customer service closes at 11pm, but by 10pm desk was closed. And team lead stated they haven't seen a manager in hours. read more

Ramona, yes Ramona, in the auto department has the worst attitude that I have ever seen. If there was one job that she should not have, it would be one that dealt with customer service. They replaced the wrong tire and the other ended up having a nail that was never there to begin with. They refused to give us a new tire and said that it was a "paper error". Ramona yelled on the phone, laughed at us, and kept smiling. It's truly sad how people conduct theirselves and treat others who are just trying to get what they paid for. This autocare center lacks good customer service, self control, and civil communication skills. I would not recommend leaving your car in their care. read more

Why do I keep coming back? This store is obviously in need of a manager. It is not properly stocked or staffed. Time to board up the windows! Silly me! I went there at 2:30 on 1-3-2023 to get the oil hanged on my Mercury Grand Marquis. I wanted the pit crew oil change. They gave me the same line I got the last three times I asked for it: "We are out of the oil we need, but we can do the High Milage Oil Change". The High mileage oil change is over twice the cost of the Pit Crew change. I got back in my car and drove to the McKinney Walmart and got my Pit Crew Oil change. Back in October they did the same thing and I got my oil changed at Walmart Anna TX. In August same story and I went to a regular oil change place. Sam Walton is turning over in his grave. No more: "Lowest Prices Always". My experience with the grocery department in November was even worse. I finished shopping and headed for checkout. No registers open! There was a line 20 deep at the entrance to self checkout. I left the cart of groceries in the aisle and got back in my car and went to HEB Frisco. They had a better selection, better prices, and 14 registers open with no waiting. Walmart seems to be determined to go the way of Sears, Wards, and Kmart. They have lost the ability to operate retail stores competitively. Thank heaven for HEB! read more

I live in Royse City and have two Walmarts one off of i30 and the other in Wylie that are way closer to my house and I've never driven a diesel vehicle in my life. Despite all that the manager refuse to help me with an unauthorized charge to my prepaid debit card for a $150 dollar purchase for diesel fuel that I would have no reason to purchase let alone at that location. DasherDirect who issues the card was a lot more helpful since Walmart employees like to screw around and do nothing. read more

A teenager was ringing us and she was not happy I even when she started ringing merchandise - was slamming goods in the bag and when I said that the price that registered was not right; her attitude got worst . She called her supervisor to change price - and stop and did not want to move waiting for supervisor . When I asked to continue to ring our grocery while waiting for her supervisor she gave me the death stare . Supervisor came and did not want to hear about the cashier attitude . Walmart For Black Friday deals I ordered four new tires for pick up at the Princeton location in Texas. So I got an email saying that they are ready for pick up so I scheduled for installation that following Saturday. When I arrived that Saturday, I was told that my tires were not here even though my email stated that they were. The manager checked the status on my order and saw that they were in route to delivery that same day so he told me to come back either the next day and wait for another email confirmation on delivery, so I did. Got another email on Monday saying that it was delivered and ready for pick up. I scheduled again that Saturday of that week for them to put them on. Once they were finished I saw that only three tires were put on out of the four so I ordered, so I asked where is the fourth tire? They said "it did not ship"and I said OK so I paid for the four tires and 4 installation today so when the fourth tire gets here and gets installed, I don't have to pay for that installation. They agreed. I received another email saying that the tire came in and was ready for pick up so I went in, took off work and the clerk and his manager told me that they had the tire and my car would be done in an hour or so. I got a call back from the mechanic saying I ordered the wrong tire because the one they got in stock was the wrong tire. Hershey said that it was our fault thay we ordered the wrong tire even though the Walmart app has all 4 of the correct tires and they don't know where that tire is. With further explanation, I told them all my confirmation and purchase history. It shows all four tires that are all the same so I was told to call customer service. I called customer service and they sent me to the 1 800 number. I was on the phone with the 1 800 number and I was told for me to call another department and that department told me to call the store. So I was back to calling the store's customer service again, they told me to call the online order department and I got right back to customer service again just to get routed back to the shop. The whole phone call interactions between getting transferred and calling back and getting hung up on wasted about three hours of my day was distasteful.I also had to pay full price for the tire instead of the $75 deal I got during Black Friday. I believe I deserved at least a price match that I originally paid for because of this error on their end since I did not order the wrong tires, but this experience was an extremely poor. The front clerks were pretty nice but their manager was not understanding nor helpful. The managers had no customer service skills. Nobody was able to give me a clear answer on the status of transit. In this whole waiting, redirection and dishonesty game they played I was nothing but patient and understanding. Also I was not informed the first time about the tire warranties being an option between $18 for the service and $28 but the second time I came in I had a choice to choose between those two services which is very deceiving and I will not be using Walmart vehicle services for the foreseeable future and I also do not recommend using their auto services. read more

Wife took her car to have air checked on tires. They checked only the two front tires and aired them up to 38. The female desk clerk mention it was probbly the right front tire and need to be replaced. Wife asked why, she snapped back because it either has a nail or cut. Wife asked can you check tire for nails and to check the back tires. She said no because the rear tires were not the propblem. Wife asked how she knows the rear tires have correct air pressue. Her responds was I just know. She also told my wife to drive the car for two days to see if air pressue holds. Wife then went out the her car asked the shop tech if they could check the rear tires. He said we checked only the front and if you want to check the rear tires he pointed to the water hose and told her she can check them her self and walked off. Maybe it's because this location is situated where grass fields and country courtesy thrived for centuries up until a few years ago, but I find that this particular Walmart has the nicest employees of any I've been to. And that's really what you're here to read about, right? Worst Walmart ever - never restock - especially everyday baby stuff - spend several 100.00 every week and wouldn't give a discount on smaller packages of diapers when it's their fault none in stock because they won't get their ordering right - management could care less It's amazing to me that a company can grow to this size with such poor customer service- Tanice could care less if the store sell a dime worth of product - their incompetence in restocking or managing inventory is the worst I've ever seen and I have been over inventory management my whole life - I spend on an average over 800.00 every two weeks at Walmart- because they can not restock the value pack of diapers we were forced to by two smaller packages increasing price by over 10.00 a package - when we ask management to match price of larger packages she acted like we were wasting her time said know walked off - I guess what I'm trying to say is princeton Walmart doesn't need our 1600.00 a month so we will shop elsewhere- thanks to Tanise - Brian read more

I have a service animal and have had trouble with them and my dog many times first i was bringing her in with nothing in the cart and everything was fine but one day got stopped and asked to put a cover in the cart. so i started doing that . then went back today and was told i'm not even allowed to have her in the cart now. have to carry her or put her on a leash or carry her and i don't have a leash with me. felt like passing out all day today because of this heat and having a hot dog body on my side is not it. Sunday around noon. The weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving. Only three cashiers/checkout lines open with long lines, and every single SELF checkout line open with a line. How do you have 20 lanes (barring the self checkout area) and only three lanes open?! They seem to consistently have long checkout lines and few cashiers. Came in the morning during the week and had five items that I got in the toiletries area. Went to check out in the garden center. Only one couple in front of me. When I got up to the cashier she told me she HAD to go help this woman exchange something and walked away. Couldn't have mentioned that when I walked up? Left my stuff when I realized the lines at the front of the store were ridiculously long and only a couple of lanes open. I'm sure there are worse Walmart's across the metroplex, but don't expect to get out of the store quickly. read more

It's great. Doesn't get that busy usually. But I do like to go in the morning and still about earlier in the day.. The building is almost always cold on the inside too.. more than a seemingly normal amount. But anyways it's Walmart. And it's good. Oh also an important mention when it comes to locations, Walmarts, etc.. this Walmart feels safe, easy going, people just usually minding their own business and shopping easily. ...although there was a problem once in the news about what I believe said an employee was upset and set fire in one of the clothing isle.. but I haven't heard anything else bad about the place since. Terrible place to shop never have anything in stock and lines are always long and taking forever to get through 30 lines yet only 4 open and self checkout is always halfway through the store everything in grocery is rotten and expired and forget shopping online bc you'll never get your product and online grocery shopping is the worst they take forever to get to your car and put your stuff which half of it isn't what you ordered very poorly into the car all employees in the whole store are dumb and very un helpful this store should just be shut down read more

I have been going here for the past year to get my oil changed. I have never had an issue with the staff. They have always performed a great job. I always request Caleb or Lee to do the work. Horrible service. Possibly the most inept staff I have ever had the displeasure of being served by. I understand that they probably get tax credits for hiring people from under bridges, however, those people should not be customer facing. This includes managers who lack the knowledge on how to ring up and item. Seriously, a manager was unable to figure out how to operate the cash register. Let's start at the beginning. I ordered a pair of jeans fire pick-up and I went on my only day off to pick them up. I checked in online. Got the alert that I was in the store and should head to the pick-up area. Got it! Let me finish getting the rest of the items first. Once I completed my shopping I headed to the kiosk to pick my jeans up. Barcode in hand I start tapping the kiosk. Nothing. Stop an associate to ask what the problem was, she calls for help. Manager arrives and says, oh yeah it's not working. So, I've opted to use this service of convenience and now you're telling me I need to go stand in the customer service line? No apology, no sign on the non-working kiosk? What kind of crap show is really going on here? On another note this store is never fully stocked. There have been multiple times that I've gone here for very basic items that are not on the shelves. Absolutely ridiculous. I will no longer give my business to this location even though that means I will have to drive another ten minutes further. Y'all have a management problem here! read more
