Visited November 9th..see my receipt. After coming into Oroville to visit friends i thought I would stalk up on some food since there is no Walmart near me. I got some really good deals on veggies and meats. But beware of the EXPIRATION date on meats and salads ! They have a nice cake selection and decent deli. I got cat good for an elderly lady that I try to help since times are tough for her. I also got a pretzel on the way out ( from the inside Subway) which was tasty! I haven't been here at this store in a couple years..unfortunately I see homeless people that are stealing and then just walking out the door...sad! What happened to checking the receipt when you walk out? The cashier was friendly. I just like to get in and out of this place! It's a much needed place in Oroville because it has alot to offer..electronics...food...makeup..etc. at a discounted price. So I do an online I do an online Walmart order and I order a turkey it says 17 to 20 lb turkey for 23.99 when I receive my order it says it's a turkey breast five to seven pounds I take it back to Walmart and I tell her what happened March 13th at 1:48 p.m. the two managers that were on was one with short hair older chunky lady with bangs and the other one was there a little bit younger but older thick lady with a ponytail my receipt says I paid $23.99 she scanned the turkey and says I'm only going to give you 1799 I said but my receipt says 23.99 is how much I paid for it she says I don't care I'm only giving you what it scans out to be I said you're not going to refund me what my receipt says she says no whatever the turkey scans is what I'm going to give you I said but the price changed from then until now because I don't care I said aren't you supposed to refund me the price I paid off my receipt she says no we pay you what the item scans out to be I said so you're telling me I paid $23.99 for this and you're only going to refund me 1799 she said yep have a nice day I said you guys are horrible they were very rude they wouldn't refund it off of my debit card because my phone died she said nope your debit card don't work I said that's the same debit card that's on my app she goes sorry it's not working so I go and buy a cord to charge my phone and then yep it's the same debit card that's on my app and she knew it she just didn't want to refund me so after all that then she's like well I'll show him I'm going to refund him what I feel like refunding him that's how Walmart managers run Walmart in Oroville so whatever managers are working on March 13th at 1:48 p.m. I talked to two of them they're horrible and they only refund you what they want to refund you even if you're price tag and receipt read more

We walked through the store and found what we were looking for. The road leading into the area was unusual for a Walmart so I'm assuming there are plans for the lands around it. Previous reviewers have mentioned sundries being locked up. We've been traveling for two years and have seen this in a city or two in some states but it's pervasive in CA because of the theft (witnessed first hand in a Target and a Nike Outlet). What I dislike the most when the employee are unhelpful and rude. I wouldn't say all employees at Walmart , there are a few. Especially items lock behind the glass walls. There are some great people who would come up and ask if I need help or greets you that understands customer service while others who acts they don't want to help For example I experienced a few time the employee who does spark shopping. So far I meet three that were rude to me saying " they are picking for customer" and can't help. Seriously if you in the floor we need help we ask employee. Today I was a bit frustrated because the lady who was doing spark shopping told me to hit button to get help. I let her know that another older gentlemen and I been waiting and no one came. After I call customer service on my personal phone, she had the nerd to come help me and said she had "time frame and doing personal shopping for customer" I told her if she don't want to help I already ask customer service to page someone to help us. She had the guts to tell me other people come help will take long. I try to brush her away telling her she so busy she doesn't have to help me. I would just wait for someone else . I disappoint that she said she busy and at the end come help. If your job is about "time frame" and making you stress don't put it on the customer, she could had said to us that after she finish she can come help instead making herself look like a embarrassment or joke. I went in for the first time after work yesterday (I work in Oroville, but my commute is nearly an hour up the ridge.) I had a mobile order with 5 items, however after nearly 20 minutes of waiting for a mobile pick-up lane to be free, I went inside to ask if I could pick up my items. After explaining to customer service that every spot was taken by empty vehicles (shoppers) I was told that my only choice was to try again. I went back out, spent another 15 minutes attempting to get a spot. Once, I watch a man walk out with a cart full of items, load his car, and leave. However, by the time I drove to that spot, someone else had taken it, and walked inside to shop. I parked and went back in- again explaining that the spots were being used by regular shoppers. With the exception of one customer service rep (Kelly) who was very polite and attempted to be helpful, every other person I spoke with was rude, short, and non-helpful. I was again told that I could not pick up my items without parking in one of those spots. The manager of the mobile-order department shrugged his shoulders at my concern and stated "not my problem". I tried cancelling my order and was informed that it could be 72 hours before my money was refunded. So, after 45 minutes total of trying (between outside and inside) I left.... over $100 shorter than I was and without my purchased products. read more

Be very careful when ordering and shipping is involved. I was going to order some coconut water and it did state $4.99 for shipping. Usually shipping is one price for what you order not individually per item. Good thing my son caught the jump up in price when making our order. For 10 cans of coconut water the shipping would have been almost $60.00!!! Will for sure be keeping an eye out on anything that has to be shipped from now on. read more

Cold cuts deli meats, the gentleman cuts genoa salami without peeling the wrapper skin off and the string netting the hang it to cure. My order for a pound had string pieces and skin on it until I told the other guy Mike to stop him. Together they plucked out the string shreds and wrapper skin it came with. Try to avoid buying any produce or dairy products from this store. This morning, a quart of milk with a 10-15-2024 (today's date is 10-09-2024) has already spoiled. Produce like lettuce, tomatoes, onions (which usually keep for a good while) will go bad within a day or two of getting them home. Bananas might look ok in the store, but when you get them home and peel them you discover they are full of bruises. Are employees beating the bananas into submission before putting them out for purchase? Do not recommend this Walmart at all. read more

Lock up everything and then there's no one to unlock the doors. I believe this is the worst customer service ever. I had to find a person to help me and she said she would be right back. After pushing the "help" button about a dozen times, I started yelling for help and waving my arms. A nice lady came and helped me. I'm a senior citizen and when I shop like you go early. Went this morning and again no help, no bags. Someone tried to find me help because my legs were. Giving out. No they couldn't help because they weren't checked into work. You look around and see groups of employees talking, not working just talking. Bought some nail polish because it was on sale but the sale price never makes it to the register. I'm through Walmart, no more shopping here in Oroville. Major complaint about the Oroville California store #1575. Messed up online order. Online order system has major flaws. The substitute of ordered items are not even close to the ordered items. Asked to talk to the store manager and was put on hold. After 25 minutes was hung up on . Called back and was hung up on right away. Finally got to a person that said that was going to go get the store manager and have her (Shena) call us back. Well got the call back and it was still not the store manager. The online order even through the store inventory shows that both the items that were substituted were in stock. Called and told the person that answered the phone the the substituted items were not acceptable or even close to what we ordered. Ordered 5 items total. 2 were store store pick up and 3 were to be shipped to us. As an example ordered 3 packs of 6 - 3.5" wood circles (18 Total) and the substituted item was 3 single 7" wood circles. When we called the store we were told that we would have to cancel the entire order or we had to drive all the way to the store and refuse the 2 store pick up items so that the shipped items would still be ordered. Something very wrong if this way to handle things. Still don't know the status of the items being shipped. Again waiting for someone with half a brain to call us back. As a side note the Oroville Store #1575 has to be the worst store in Northern California. You can't get help anywhere. Have to wait for ever for someone to come unlock the cases that everywhere. Self Check only takes cards and there is never more that 2 registers open to take cash yet there are dozens of Yellow vests walking around doing nothing but talking. The return area has one person while again yellow vests just stand around. Not sure what the yellow vest mean except that they have earned the right to do nothing as far as we have seen. The fact that the store manager or any member of management is not contactable is a major problem. Being hung up on by employees is wrong. I worked here and it was a nightmare.. They had mosquitos, bed bugs, and diseased kissing bugs in the break rooms. HR department was awful, lazy, and unhelpful with anything including my ID badge being unscannable. Of the newly hired people, 'minority' groups got the best jobs and white people were only hired to scrub toilets and sweep floors. I have 15 years experience in construction, 2 years as EMT, 2 years as event security, and 2 years as a IT Network engineer - scrubbing toilets.... PATHETIC! Quitting was the best choice I ever made at Walmart. I was walking 6-8 miles per day at work with 20,000 steps as tracked by my Samsung Galaxy smart watch. Most of their smaller items are now locked up...understandably so. There are a lot of homeless people and thieves that like to steal from there so I get it. But when you try to find an employee to help assist you, you'll almost never find any because they're in the back or on a smoke break. And when you do find one they'll give you an attitude. I used to go in and get out less than 10 mins. Now if I'm lucky it'll be an hour just for 2 small item. Not even exaggerating. Marisa from money services is the definition of prejudice. I had three days in a row of little to no help and a straight attitude from 3 ladies in money services. And when my fiancee was asked for ID, aimee started bending his ID, my fiancee told her to stop bending it and she tried to deny service simply off that fact. And before we even were "helped" by Aimee, Marisa was talking garbage about myself (which i could hear from the line!) Which gave Aimee apparently the okay to be aggressive and rude with us. Well after having read all the reviews I really wanted to give a good one. Typically people are just a bunch of Karen's. The employees had trouble finding the key so I can get eyedrops and ibuprofen. The manager who helped us was very nice. When I was checking out though Shalyn allowed me to scan my ibuprofen and then she threw it into the basket. LOL I couldn't believe it how rude!
