Bring a over the road truck driver i definitely make a lot of stops shopping at Walmart for my groceries and other goods while I'm on the road to avoid eating out as much as possible, this location was very well kept and organized with the amazing employees assisting customers even on a very busy weekend, my overall experience at this location was great. read more

The service at the grocery pick-up has been going downhill this month. On a 4 pm pick-up today, we got a message that order was not ready. They said we would get a text when it was. Finally get a text at 6:15 pm. I drive 6-1/2 mi. to the store, only to run into the situation in the pictures submitted. All the parking spots are full, & customers are lined up all the way down the service road to the back of the building. I call the number on the wall for grocery pickup. IT GOES TO VOICE-MAIL, and says "Mailbox is full. GOODBYE." I go inside, to find somebody to talk with at Customer Service, only to find out the desk closed back at 6 pm. You already took the money out of my bank account, but I can't get our food. I now have to wait until tomorrow to get my groceries & drive another 6-1/2 mi. I will probably have to put up with a bunch of substitutions & cancelations on our order.(again) I am giving this a one star because the system won't let me post A NEGATIVE STAR NUMBER. read more

I understand that they are for everyone's protection but for you to get In a customers face over them readjusting their mask but not correct your own employees who have no mask in sight or are not wearing them correctly is a little bullshit. The location is perfect. It is by the gas station, dollar tree, fast food places, nail salon, china buffet, Mexican restaurant, Cato's, and a Japanese restaurant, and nail salon. Close by is an Asian market. No crowds. No long lines. Very peaceful. Parking lot was satisfactory. We were able to buy what we needed easily. I ordered to pick up same day. I was looking for my products in the neighboring town (which is an hour away from me) but they didn't have any same day pick ups, however the WM in OG, KY did. So that's an hour point five from me but I really need these items so off we go. I got there and the app won't let me check in. The text won't let me check in. The email won't let me check in. No big deal right? Just call the friendly number on the sign to check in! Umm...except it went to voicemail 6 times. I double checked the number dialed every time. So I flag down the one and only guy that has been in and out of the store and he was very kind but he had no idea what was going on and he would look into my order as soon as he could. So I waited an hour and then he came by and I reminded him and he said he would look. 20 minutes later he comes to me and helps me figure out where my order was (it was in the store already packed) and eventually brings it out. Now the young man was super nice. Super nice. But he was apparently the only one on duty until the last 10 minutes of my wait and as such (through no fault of his own!) he had customers waiting for up to 2 hours.... I tried to call the store manager to find out what is going on and of course they left me on hold indefinitely and never answered the phone. So bad form Walmart all the way around, really bad form. This Walmart is better than most in the area if nothing but that it's less crowded. Those that don't like crowds but still love the great low prices, it's worth coming to this location as we all know that a Walmart is a Walmart but one without the craziness of crowds is a better place to shop. read more

Today at this location in Oak Grove KY I experienced a huge ethical and harassment violation by the assistant store manager and Loss Prevention. On top of that I was called and treated like a thief, and even more embarrassing the cops were called and they stopped me and also treated me like a thief, then when they noticed I was in no wrong... at all... they let me and my pregnant spouse finally leave. I can not believe that Walmart allows this kind of treatment to anyone for any reason. I want to speak with someone from headquarters/corporate office asap. This Walmart is like so many others, I suppose. I came here just this morning to do some grocery shopping. I spent in excess of $150. When I went to check out, only the self-check lane was open. I HATE self-check for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason is that I am NOT an employee of Walmart. I very much resent being forced to do something that Walmart should be paying an employee to do. To me this is like going to a winery that forces you to stomp your own grapes. I live closer to this Walmart then the Clarksville location, so I prefer to use this Walmart. However, they allow customers to leave their parked car in the pick up area. Which backs up pick up services. I understand they get busy and my pick up order is delayed, however I don't agree with allowing others to leave their car in the pick up area because it's more convenient for them. I believe they should tow the vehicles that are left unattended. It backs up a lot. read more

I've used the Walmart Pickup many times in the last few years, but even before COVID hit, their Pickup program is a disaster. There's a reason I pick a time slot-I have other things that I have to do. Today is the 3rd time in a row I've waited for over an hour at the Pickup area for my groceries to be brought out. The time before this, I waited for over two hours, AFTER the hour time slot I was told my pickup would be ready. This caused me to miss my child's last high school band concert. I keep trying to give them another chance, but I will not be using this location for Pickup any longer. Not that it will ever make a difference, because Walmart is not known for good customer service anyway. I just wish that executives at Walmart would pay attention to how poorly ran this program is, and do something to fix it. read more

The auto center has a cheap oil change price but it is $13 cheaper at the Tennessee wal mart. They do a good job but they have left our vehicles unlocked after changing the oil both times. Never going to wal mart for an oil change ever again. Our car could have been sorted through or stolen. read more

Don't know who she was slicing this for as I was the only customer at this time. The other two women had been in and out of deli and one was on her cell phone. People should watch out with this walmarts action alley. Meaning the main drag as you walk in thru the door. There running sort of a scam that many other walmarts are not participating with. Such as Setting up displays of items as the "everyday low price". And leaving roll back items on the shelf. So in turn what happens if you buy from the display item you are paying full price for the item and not getting a sell item. They are leaving roll back items on the shelf. The "sale items/rollback items" will run out quickly leaving the consumer to miss out on the sale because the item goes out of stock. Forcing the consumer to buy the regular priced item. And using the display as the interruption in your shopping experience. Not to mention most of store is not tagged correctly. So watch out at the register as well. well, I have had good days here and BAD ones. Most cashiers are friendly. There are two of them that have just thrown my stuff in the bags, not say anything to me, and monotonously say Have a Nice Day like they really hate it there. I guess it must suck there. The fitting room lady once told me I could go hang my clothes up myself, that was just one lady and one time though. Everyone else there seems pretty nice. Customer Service desk is fast. The Camera cashier had a long line and 2 managers came and helped her get us out fast. The only thing I don't like about this store is the small Isles. It's very hard to get through grocery shopping. I love the big isles in the newer walmarts. Oh and sometimes they don't carry the item you are looking for since it is a smaller walmart. What I do is order online at www.walmart.com and then go to the back where they used to have layaway and pick it up. They are really fast and ship to the store for free. read more

I ordered something online and had it shipped/delivered to this store. I did the Site to Store option. I live in Northern KY and had it delivered to this store for my daughter and son in law to pick up. You see this was a gift I bought for my 3 grandchildren. I called this store to see if my order had been delivered yet. I waited 4 minutes and was then transferred to the Site to Store Department. A gentleman answered, I gave him my name, and he said "hold on". Another 5 minutes on hold. Then a woman picked up the phone to tell me that they were not "allowed" to disclose the information that the item "I" purchased was delivered or not. I then contacted an on line "help chat" with Walmart. I was told that "yes" you may call the store and ask if an order had been delivered. I also contacted the main Walmart office and reported how I was treated. I want to add that before I did the on line chat help...I contacted 3 Northern KY Walmarts and they all 3 told me "yes" you may call and ask if the order had been delivered. This store continues to disappoint. Yesterday, September 14, 2015 I went in to pick up a few things and again there were very few cashiers. In the "check out yourself" line there were 17 people waiting. The other three lines that were opened had lines stretched across the width of the store. I went to talk to a "manager" who said she was aware of the problem; you should know that she was standing behind a cash register at the time in the 10 items or less aisle. So I asked her to check me out, she said, "I'm closed" and walked away. I will not be shopping at Wal-Mart in Oak Grove ever again and will share my story and encourage others NOT to shop there. read more

I took my car to the auto center at this Walmart to have a headlight bulb put in. After waiting 3 hours, I was told that they would have to remove the bumper of the car to do it and they were unable to do so. I took my car to Goodyear, who took a whole 15 minutes to change the light bulb. The front bumper did not have to come off the car. I usually do not complain, but 5 years ago I took the car to a Walmart in California and they took the entire fender off and when I got it home, the light still did not work. Just left this store after over an hour. Should have been a quick in and out. Made the mistake of wanting to buy some tropical fish. Waited for several minutes hoping to spot someone to dip the fish. Went and found a rep who told me he'd send someone. After another 10-15 of waiting still no rep. Gave up checked out then asked to speak with manager. Rep called manager. Manager wanted to know what I wanted. I told the rep. He said she'll be right up. Waited over 10 more minutes. No manager. Told a rep I was leaving because I had waited long enough. She then rolled her eyes at me and went back to what she was doing. Here's the kicker. She called the manager on her walkie about a problem with another customer. She asked the manager if she could come up and the manager barked, "No I can't!" She quickly turned the walkie down and walked toward the back. Horrible Customer Service.
