The selection in the store never changes. Also the men's clothing is in a quarter of the space the women's clothing is. They offer very little in men's clothing and that to me is very disappointing. This review is for the Starbucks inside Target in Hutchinson…read more This was the most disgraceful Starbucks I have been too. I'll take the pretentious over entitled baristas at any of the surrounding Minneapolis locations over this location. I was in town to visit family and needed to get some shopping done. Once finished I wanted a cup of coffee. I waited in line forever because one of the girls (wearing a target uniform) didn't know how to make anything. She was laughing that she had been working on the registers and now she's behind the Starbucks counter. She was awful! If they aren't properly trained they shouldn't be back there. At one point, she was told what to do and responded with, "otay!" The lack of simple English on top of not listening what to do is not amusing. I shouldn't have to wait because of your incompetency. Once I finally got to the counter the girl at the register just bolts and goes somewhere in the store. I was left standing there unsure what do do. Finally the male barista helped me. I feel sooo bad if he has to work with these girls. This place is not what Starbucks is all about and they should be embarrassed to have employees like these.

Back in the day I used to work at Herbergers (at Southdale). For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

Not sure on the staffing ratio but the registers all had lines and no matter where you walked, you had to wait to checkout. That gives you a picture of what it can be on your visit. Friendly smiles upon entry, plenty of carts, bathrooms near entry, clearly marked sections with big blue signs with white lettering. The grocery section has a fresh produce section as large as a regular grocery store and everything I bought was fresh. There is also a large frozen food section with an entire side of an aisle dedicated to ice cream/desserts. Only in the Midwest! The center of the store is dedicated to men's and women's clothes. I found some awesome PJs here as well as intimates for low prices. Walmart does a good job at buying and setting low prices. I found some awesome buys like men's PJ pants, women's undies, and baseball caps all at low prices under 10! The best department/experience was the Electronics. The floor manager came over and talked to me about the TVs I was looking at and helped me by explaining the difference in everyone I was looking at. Each cashier I experienced was super friendly and truly interested in knowing about my shopping experience. A+ to this store! I feel that it must be managed well to have a crew of helpful employees. Yes, customer service here is spotty as it's a large facility so it's tough to accommodate every customer at one time. Plenty of checkout lines during the day including self-checkout line.
