The Deli had an impressive variety of both hot and cold offerings. We picked out a couple sandwiches for lunch, the Cuban and the Chimayo. The sandwiches were made fresh and were larger than I expected. The Cuban was pretty good for a small deli not specializing in Cuban food. It had chipotle mayo on it instead of traditional mustard, which I thought actually worked pretty well. The Chimayo is essentially a fancy turkey sandwich but the flavor combinations they came up with for it are great. I would recommend both this one and the Cuban, and judging by these two, you probably couldn't go wrong with the others on the menu. They also have a large variety of prepackaged salads and other items in the cold case. I did not sample any of these but the variety was nice, and they all looked fresh. I might have rated this five stars for the deli alone, but we did need to buy a few groceries, and that's what brought it down to four stars. I understand the Co-op ideals of organic, locally grown, etc., but everything was more expensive than any other grocery store, even for basic items. It's still a nice place and I wouldn't say don't go there for groceries, but if you do, expect to pay a premium. And be sure to check out the deli when you're there!

I got hard eggs, burnt sausages patties and decaffeinated coffee. No regular coffee available at 8:30 in the morning. Bakery completely ruined the surprise gender reveal for our child…read more I called Tuesday morning asking if they could do a cake with pink or blue in the middle so my wife and I could be surprised and learn the sex of our child by cutting the cake. The guy said sure, come down by 3 and we'll get that to you. I went down at 3 on Tuesday. Bring the papers identifying the gender, I state I'm the father and don't want to know the gender. They said they had no order for me so I would have to place one and I'd get the cake Thursday. Okay. Again I reiterate not to have an identifiers on the outside of the cake. Worried the message wasn't received, I called Wednesday evening to ensure they understood. They couldn't find my order. Finally found it. Said sure thing come in tomorrow, Thursday. I again reiterated to have all plain white cake on the outside. No markers of what the gender is. I go to get the cake today, Thursday. And as the lady brings it out, it has writing stating the sex of our baby with the matching colors as the border. All the exact opposite of what I wanted and ordered. I am extremely frustrated and disheartened that the special moment my wife and I were hoping to share was ruined.
