Another flashback to my last time visiting the Myrtle Beach, SC area to see the relatives. When I visit them I tend to travel light because I stay with them and have stockpiled a bunch of needful things to use across the time of my trip. Stuff like socks, underwear and assorted t-shirts and polo shirts for the nicer events out. Even some beach stuff like trunks and goggles for the pool or ocean. Everything I've needed, or I should be correct and say that almost everything was purchased at their nearby Walmart. The other reason I really like to visit this particular location is that I always seem to find a KISS t-shirt of some kind. I'm a pretty close to being a lifelong fan of "The Hottest Band In The World" and when my awesome Mother asked me how many KISS shirts I needed, I replied with a smile "all of them". I should add that I've also added shirts for the Misfits, Godzilla, Star Wars, and assorted super-heroes to the mix which will give me convention wear for the duration. Walmart is priced lower than many stores and since this one is down in South Carolina, its less than one would find up this way. That's why I've even been getting my jeans down there as well. I just have to make them fit into my bag for the journey home. If you're down in this part of MB, be sure to drop in and grab some things that you need. Went here on Saturday December 27th 2025 with my parents. We were here to look at any discounted Christmas gifts and some more new year items. We went to this one because we already looked in our local one in Conway, and we were also in the area. Now went directly to the seasonal section and absolutely no Christmas Items at all, or New Year items, instead there was valentine items! Like not even New Year and one skips right to Valentine's Day? In the last walmart, we already got the party hats and items like that. surprised that there were no new year plastic plates in the party section. Anyways, we then looked at their home section and brought some 13 by 9 pans for baking. We then went to the food section and brought items like Soda like Diet Coke, Coca Cola, Sprite, flavored waters like cherry, a cranberry juice. We also brought almond extract, food coloring. Aisles were clean and organized. My dad went to the self checkout to pay. My mom and I used the restroom. The stall I was in was kind of dirty. but managed. other areas of the restroom was clean. Walmart have everything you need from clothes to food a medicine and things for the house. I would recommend anyone to go here.

I needed a power switch for an outlet in the RV and figured Walmart might be an option. And yes, for a change they actually had what I wanted except it was about half again more than three for the same item on Amazon. So instead of instant gratification, I ordered it delivered to an Amazon pickup at my next stop down the road. Other than that, this was a good shop. The store is decently stocked and there was no merchandise on the floor in menswear. The queues at the register were short. The cart corrals in the parking lot were clear. We came here around 9pm on a Tuesday. They keep this store really clean and stocked for how busy it is. If you just need to grab something quick I wouldn't recommend this location. The lines were super long, people had overflowing carts, and the cashiers were way too overwhelmed. read more

Came in at 6 am this morning to buy a gift card for a girl who is graduation. There was an issue with trying to get a gift card so early, but the girl worked it out. Store looked big and clean but didn't really look around. This early is definitely the time to go to avoid crowds. read more

I had to have 2 tires replaced and have been sitting here for 6 hours!! I was never told there would be a wait time. I use my car for work so I've missed a whole day of work because of this. Even people who had reservations had to wait for hours. I'd drive on all bald tires on ice before I come here again! read more

Great stop to stock up for MBSC vacation. Store was clean, shelves were stocked, parking lot clean and well lighted.

If I could do zero star I would, as soon as you walk in, the give is just off. We got our things went to the self checkout and the bags were ALL over the floor, that is messy, unprofessional, and not safe! Someone could slip and fall. Then we needed assistance and a worker came to assist, when we tried to explain what we needed she extremely rudely told us to wait, then walked. I understand people have bad days but that should affect how your work. read more

To let customers know the floors are slick. My Son in addition to several persons I know or observed people not known to me have been injured. Slipping on a highly waxed floor, running over a person I didn't know with a pallet jack, leaving empty pallets and garbage in the aisle tripping over it. Out of 5 I personally saw or know2 personally the rest I just witnessed. The stores locally are expanding and up scaling alcohol beer/wine and 1 is building a complete liquor store with a divided wall for beer/wine including Cristal and other high end wines. This particular one is where they have had a ton of drugs and drunken crimes in the parking lot. Sounds like recipe for crime increase read more

Called 3 days in advance and got an appointment for 12:00 to get 2 tires replaced. Showed up at 11:00 and was in line at the place for 50 minutes due to the auto care center also checking peoples shopping out and stopping to make keys. They told me there was 8 cars ahead of me and it would be 3 to 4 hour wait time when I dropped off the car. Why even bother to be able to let people make appointments if you don't honor them? If walk-ins overlap your appointments, don't take walk ins or stop scheduling appointments. You cannot do both and then push your scheduled appointments to the back. Absolutely terrible read more

We needed water for our condo while on vacation along with snacks and a few other personal items, and this Walmart was in walking distance. It's a very neat, clean store, and the prices were great. Even lower than ours at home. They had Myrtle Beach t-shirts for under $4! I couldn't believe it after spending a lot of $ at the T-shirt factory on the Boardwalk. (Thinking that would be less than the airport). You live and you learn. I also got a cute cover up for the beach for under $15. (I didn't really need it, but it was cute!) Typical Wallyworld. It appears to be an older store cause it looks a little worn. It is usually very busy TV which is probably due to its location on Seaboard Ave. which is a major commercial route and Rt. 501. It is also a few miles from downtown tourist haven of Myrtle Beach. So when already shopping in the area, we use this one. read more

Never a dull moment at Walmart . It wasn't the greatest time to go there. We were getting ready for hurricane Ian to come. Anyways , they did have all I needed, an A+ , thank you. I wasn't super happy with checking out all of my purchases myself . The lines were incredibly long . Most people don't know what the hell they are doing so it takes triple long to get out of there. My Lady and I were at this Walmart shopping for Xmas decor, we come across this "Baby Yoda" inflatable display but they were out at the time I asked the guy working that area if they're any left and he stated he was in the process of stocking shelf's and there might be. So my lady and I continue on shopping, all of a sudden the store rep tracked us down an asked us hey you the ones looking for the inflatable "Baby Yoda"? I wish I could give NO stars but I can't. Rudest employees EVER! Specifically old blond woman working dressing rooms on July 10th at 8:30-9:30ish. Store FULL of people I wasn't even 10 feet away yet and she barks at me "dressing rooms CLOSED". Like WTF. miserable, clearly didn't want to do her job. I know Walmarts are always understaffed but this was my first time at this one in SC. I've honestly never seen so many employees "working" at a location before. It would be awesome if they were actually helping. read more

This location used to be cramped, dirty, dark lit, etc and now it's an opposite image. Now it's SPACIOUS, CLEAN, and BRIGHT. There's a new self check out station which should help with the many many many shoppers. Great job great improvement read more

This is definitely one of the most disorganized stores I have ever been too. This is a supercenter in the middle of Myrtle Beach and they have 2 checkouts open. There is currently more than 20 people a line that is moving at a snails pace. The store is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting and the workers are none to pleasant. I honestly would rather drive and extra 4 miles out of my way to support another establishment than to ever use this one again. read more

The last 30 mins of opening consisted of a sales associate yelling over the intercom they were closing and registers will be "shut down" at 11. It was a countdown every 5 mins. At 11 she announced Walmart was closed and asked security to watch the cameras. It was just pretty rude. read more

Awful grocery picking! We came here for vacation and figured we would order our food to be delivered. Was missing several items and had to call for refund. Many items were just dropped completely with no substitute. Creamer! Really? There was no sub for great value creamer. No sub for pancake syrup! There were so many items missing, we needed to again re-order and pay another delivery charge. read more

Parked the Motorhome/RV for the night, which Walmart encourages. Had to move to a quieter area to get away from cars playing loud music. Woke up surrounded by young people sleeping off last nights drunk in their cars. It looked like a homeless camp. Was asked if I had cigarette twice by the same guy within 15 minutes. If you need help finding things don't come here. The associates are all extremely rude and disrespectful. They refuse to check inventory for anything claiming "I need the barcode to look it up". In area on vacation and ran to walmart to get food to stock up in hotel room. This location was very convenient. Walked in and was surprised at how clean everything was. Every aisle was stocked and zoned. Every employee I walked passed either greeted me or asked if I was finding everything okay. (Complete opposite of the walmart's in my area, where customers seem to come off as a plague to the employees, and are avoided at all costs, lol) I stopped by about 3 times, and had the same experience each time.
