Came here with my parents because we are having company New Years Eve, and needed some plastic bowls and items to store chips and other party items in. We also looked at the card section and they had plenty of christmas cards left! they had a small but great collection of plastic chip bowls and even in colors like pink and blue, and purple, as well as white. We also brought some gift bags that was leftover from christmas. Oh, and they already have Easter/Valentine's Items out, and it is not even New Years! Anyways, we also brought some mechanical pencils. After checking out some of the store, we went to a cashier, where we paid for our items. Cashier was pleasant. Store was clean and organized. They even have beer and alcohol at discounted Walmart price. The checkout was fast and easy. I was very impressed that I was able to scan a QR code from the checkout screen to pay via the Walmart app in my phone and get a digital receipt. Not being a regular customer of Walmart, this was a nice experience.

Unfortunately…read more2 weeks later a tornado hit the strip mall it was located in and destroyed everything and I was in it at the time ! I haven't been in a Roses since and I went into the Army in 1985 to Germany for 4 years , then the west coast ever since . I come home to visit every 3 years or so and occasionally see a Roses , but never checked them out . This time when I was in Myrtle Beach , I had to go in and see if I could find some good deals on some beach t-shirts or souvenirs . It was like stepping back in time . Roses is similar to what K-mart was in design and products they carried . I would say a small step up from K-mart . Since it was October I guess all the larger sized Myrtle Beach T-shirts were sold . I ran across this at lots of the T-shirt shops too . I did by a couple things though . The place was clean and so was the parking lot . I would recommend you to stop in and see if you can find some good deals . They sell all kinds of stuff , snacks , house wear , clothes , decorations . So check them out .

Whenever the season changes, I need a Marshall's trip to find a couple new items. Whether it's…read moreshorts or a couple long sleeve shirts, I can find what I'm lacking usually. Marshall's is always a hit or miss on finding what you need, but this location is a win more often than not. It's on the way to family's house so anytime we're heading in or out of town and feel like killing some time, we always stop here. Marshall's also has men's shoes (which TJ Maxx does not) and I've had some great sneaker finds at this location too. I will say the men's shoe dept has gotten smaller recently and hopefully that's just based on stock or season and will increase again soon.
