It's been at least a decade since I visited a Walmart, and it's likely to be another before I go again. I was shopping for a smart watch online and wanted to see one in person. I stopped two other places, but none were on display. Two of the three guys at the counter were useless; one smelled of pot. The one who helped out was not knowledgeable, but he was earnest. Finally, someone who seemed like a manager located my selection and had someone ring it up; he also price matched the Walmart online price that was $40 less. He told me that there is a 14-day return policy. I ended up deciding to return it 10 days later in exchange for another model. While the wait at the service desk was a bit long, the customer service guy was efficient and pleasant. Then I returned to buy the replacement. This time there were 4 guys, none of whom seemed even slightly interested in helping. Finally one did, but then twice walked away to chat up two different women. The other three shared their shoe preferences, movie reviews, and sexual preferences instead of helping anyone. This would be a one star review if it were not for the customer service clerk. read more

My daughters and I went for a SECOND time to take care of seeing up service in a phone. When we arrived at the daughters department, not one employee was there. A costumer was waiting and I asked if he'd already been helped. He hadn't. I then asked how long he'd been waiting. He said 10 minutes. Dear Lord! I told him that he's a patient man. I told my daughters to wait while I find an associate. She was in a different department. But I asked if she could communicate with someone that there's no one inn the electronics department. She asked me what I wanted to do. I told her, stay service on a phone. She mumbled something while waking away. I returned to the electronics department. The man that was there before me was being helped. Then a dude with sunglasses comes to the counter and looks to who needs help next. Another walmart worker just walks up to purchase something. He was standing at the counter for about 30 seconds. Then sunglasses dude looks at me as I approach. He says he doesn't know anything about that stuff, it's a whole different company that starts service. I asked where that person was... he said he doesn't know. Maybe a lunch break? I go back to that side of the counter and call Walmart, hoping to get help. First call to the operator. 30 rings, no one picks up, I hang up. I wait a bit more. Call again, a different extension. At least 30 rings, no answer. I see a security guard and flash her down, asking if I can get the manager to help me. She radios. I see a person coming to electronics counter, I can see that my daughters are trying to get my attention. I walk towards them and he says, no, I don't do that. Manager shows up and when security guard tells her my request she says, he's up front helping someone. I ask when he'll return. She doesn't know. I will be why no one answered the phones, she said they're helping other customers. The guy who can help finally shows up while I'm speaking with manager. I'm trying to tell her, how long do you want me to wait at this counter without knowing anything about whether someone will show up or not. Dude asks what's going on. I say that we need to start service. Why not leave a message that you're away for a minute and wull return? He turns to manager and asks, can I just go home? I told them I'll just go somewhere else. Horrible service. read more

This location blow the greenfeild location out of the water. Even when it's busy lines are still getting through faster with more lanes and options. It's Walmart what can I say you come for what you're shopping for not so much an experience. I will say that their drive up service is great though ! read more

Called at 6:00 Pm on Saturday and was told they do walk-ins for tires on Sunday at 7:00 AM. Showed up at 6:30 to be first only to be told, by the first employee to show up at 7:15, that they do not accept walk-ins. This must be their common practice because there was another person waiting for the same thing. Incredibly annoying that they were late, wrong, and unapologetic. Got better service at Tires Plus down the road. read more

Another fantastic experience at the Walmart pharmacy. Out of the three employees I interacted with, all were fantastic. The trainee was polite and friendly, the trainer was knowledgeable and helpful to both me and the trainer, and the pharmacist went out of her way to spend 10 minutes with me to make sure the dosage of the medicine would be safe for my dog, as she had not had encountered that particular dosage for a pet in the past. Outstanding service! One note - this review only extends to the pharmacy. The service and overall state of the rest of the store was less than poor. I don't plan to return except to pick up medicine from the outstanding pharmacy. read more

This Walmart is a perpetual loser. Just avoid at all costs. I retry it every few years with the exact same result. The website told me they had a kid's sleep mat in stock. Now, if you know anything about online stocking, most stores (including Walmart) will not list "in-stock" unless there's actually at least two in store. I didn't care about searching for it in the store. However, after searching for twenty minutes (oh my gosh -- every aisle was TRASHED!), I gave in and asked an associate I found playing on TikTok on her phone and asked what aisle I should look in. She said she didn't know and said that it was probably sporting goods. Went to sporting goods. Nope. The kid stocking nightcrawlers said he'd never seen it in his department. Okay... can you look it up and tell me where to look? He literally said he has no way of doing that despite standing next to a computer used exactly for this type of thing, I'd assume. Two managers later, not one person could actually look it up. They didn't have a SKU number. So, I took the two minutes to DO IT MYSELF FROM THEIR WEBSITE and provided it to them. They THEN said it was "on an end cap". But they couldn't tell me where. Oh, okay. Then can you call the store down the street and ask if they have it (according to the website, they also had it in stock) so I don't have to waste more gas? The manager kid pulled out his personal cell and tried calling. You mean you can't even provide your workers with a line to use? Hope they're paying their workers' cell bills. No wonder all the others were just playing on their phones. The manager gave up after letting it ring for four minutes and said they just weren't answering. All in all, AVOID THIS CRAP SHOW AT ALL COSTS. read more

What a difference a couple of miles makes. There's another Wal-Mart on this same road, a little further south. I said in the review of that one that it felt like it was sucking the life out of me. This Wal-Mart, on the other hand, is much cleaner and fresher and friendlier. I could shop here and when I'm in this part of Milwaukee, I will absolutely shop here. It's worth the ten extra minutes of driving to come here instead. I'd recommend you do the same! Yes, this is a SuperCenter, meaning that it has the full grocery section in addition to all the usual Wal-Mart departments like automotive and toys and electronics and clothing and the like. All at "low prices". read more

Poor COVID-19 health practices in place. Out of paper to wipe the carts at the Market Entrance. Every other shopper has their mask off their nose. THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE! COVER YOUR NOSE! Many employees have their noses out. Management needs to enforce this. A few customers with masks hanging off one ear or not wearing them at all. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. Wisconsin just set up a hospital at State Fair Park! Schedule and Zone pairs of workers to go around and enforce proper mask wearing in compliance with State Law! Kick out customers who won't comply. Even the security guard at checkout had his nose sticking out! read more

Terrible customer service. The workers won't even check the back room for an item that the system says is back there. They'd rather stand around and talk instead of work, including the "manager." Steer away from this place and go to Target instead. read more

I like to walk there to get essentials. More neighbors should walk there because the parking lot is dangerous.

If you want something from the beauty section, you face to buy it in that area. There's one person who covers the register, answers questions, and unlocks cases of frequently stolen stuff. Even if there is 10 people in line and you're buying $4 deodorant spray, you MUST pay in beauty because they've suffered so much shrinkage in that area from shoplifters. Here's the thing... Now these shoplifters wait until you're getting something off the shelf and steal the bag from your cart and walk out the door with it. This could also be an issue if you pick up meds, although my experience was with body spray. Think of a better system, or we'll all just go to Target. Sure we might pay a little more, but we'll at least have everything we paid for! read more

First let me preface this by saying I despise Walmart. However, the proximity to my parent's house, and the fact that I found everything I was looking for, requires me to give it a grudging "OK" rating. I got a cell phone for my mom at the right price. We found a clock radio here, cheep, after searching for weeks. The produce was fresh and plentiful. Fresh flowers as well, albeit not a terrific selection. Scored a pair of .99 flip flops. The staff was friendly and helpful. My Mom likes shopping here. So, come here occasionally, I will. read more

I'm not sure if I'm more offended to call and just listen to the line ring and ring, apparently to eternity, without being answered or if I'd be more upset to eventually get disconnected. Just waited 30 minutes to get a busy line sound. Never try to call the phone number is a false flag operation.

I have no idea how this Walmart could possibly receive ratings beyond a one. This place is atrocious. Here's a list: -terrible customer service (if you can even find a worker) -longest checkout lines known to man (an hour and a half is a very long time to wait in a 20 items or less checkout) -you have to dodge cars and people just to get into this hellhole -products have been ravaged by angry donkeys three times over (seriously, bad condition) -absence of products available in other Walmart stores -the fruit and veggies are never culled so everything is rotting -bathrooms are nasty with a bonus of missing door locks (you try peeing with your feet pushing a door shut, it takes major skill and a high level of fear) I no longer visit this version of Dante's Hell. I will travel to another city to avoid this place. The only time they see me is when I am desperate for cheap tampons at seven in the morning. read more

I never reviewed anything in my entire life but I am now cause if the HORRIBLE experience I had at this Walmart. When I went there to buy some feminine products this rude employee said move or imma knock you out and then when I told my boyfriend about the went in with me and confrented her about it. She was EXTERMELY rude and didn't know how to control herself acting like she wanted to fight me. So if you wanna go to a Walmart I DON'T recommend this one AT ALL. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

"I NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE!!" .......was what I heard shouted from the photo department. "I JUST WANNA BUY A CAMERA. I NEED HELP!" To which my boyfriend and I reply, "Lady, you need more help than a Wal Mart associate can give you." I went to Wal Mart simply because my local Target was out of Nooks. (I'll review you later Target! You're on my shit list!) I had to wait about 20 minutes for an associate to actually grab me a nook in what they referred to as "the cage". During this time I got to explore this travesty of a store. Merchandise everywhere except where they are supposed to be, carts full of crap lined the aisles with no actual customers claiming them, and just an overall sense of despair and sadness. The guy actually checking me out didn't speak english so communication had to be translated, and I left completely unsatisfied. I will NEVER go back to this Wal Mart again. The service was terrible, the store was in disarray, and the parking lot was a death trap. (Seriously? Put your fucking shopping carts away you lazy bums.) NEVER AGAIN. read more

I purchased a Walmart.com order that was shipped to store and tried to have my order cancelled 4 times without any success. I was told to call the call center, which I did 4 times and they stated that they submitted 4 separate requests to cancel the order. However, my order was never cancelled. I then decided to call the store today, a week after I started this whole process and when I called, I kept getting transferred from one person to another as no one wanted to take my call. One lady even sighed loudly on the phone as if I was creating so much work for her. Absolutely horrendous customer service and this is the the last time that I will ever place an order with Walmart! read more

This Wal-Mart has to be the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been too. The parking lot looks terrible. Carts are scattered everywhere almost as trying to escape from their harsh treatment. I couldn't find a single cart that was even remotely good. Garbage was everywhere on the lot. The inside has improve since last year. The items are organized (everything used to be everywhere). The store looks a lot cleaner. If only they would work as hard as cleaning he outside as they did the inside. The associates are rude!!! Whenever you ask for help, the associates have this sour look on their face. They either don't know (lies) or help you with an angry attitude (making me wish I didn't ask in the first place). Already going in and I can hear most of them talking trash about other associates or their managers or they are complaining about their pay. It's like a gang war. I'm so glad items are organized but it doesn't matter if they don't have the items. They restock really slow or never. Associates have no motivation to get their job done. The lines, omg the lines. Everyday I go shopping the lines are always packed with people. It's like a DMV line. It sucks the life out of me to just wait. Wal-Mart may be home to some of the lowest prices but there are plenty of other Wal-Marts to visit. While they have improved since before the associates are the ones that make me never to want to come back again. I had this one associate ask if my sister was deaf (because she played behind the register and the associate said "tell that kid to get away from the register" and my sis didn't hear. I know my sis was in the wrong don't insult my sister. Your lucky your bigger then me) I decided to never come back to this Wal-Mart unless I really have to. read more

This Walmart is always dirty. There are ALWAYS items that are mixed up and not by the correct price label. Its a shit show. Items are always out of stock. Things are spilled on shelves. My co-workers and friends always have this face of horror when I tell them that I shop at Walmart. Yes some of this is deserved, but lets get straight to the point. 1. Most of the bad rep Walmart gets in Milwaukee is from the "ghetto" Walmart on Capitol Drive. Yes, it is trashy there, no I would not go there to shop. But this Walmart is located in the suburbs, a completely renovated location. Security is not a problem. In fact, every night I've been there, at least two security cars are patrolling up and down the parking lot. 2. This Walmart is located next to the most of the shipping hubs in Milwaukee. As a result, you can literally find ANYTHING that you could possibly need for day to day use. You can easily spend over an hour shopping at Walmart if you have a huge laundry list, and never even have to drive anywhere else. Convenience is one of the big draws about Walmart. 3. This Walmart location is clean, and the service has always been top notch. Managers and associates always help me find what I am looking for, no attitude problems here. 4. The people who shop at Walmart are a wide mix of people. Yes there are some people you would find at PeopleOfWalmart.com. In fact, my checkout line was delayed twice by such characters. But its expected, and at least the shady people are kept at minimum here. 5. Walmart is cheap. Real Cheap. I've probably saved hundreds of dollars shopping here. In fact its baby carrots sell at half price compared to whole foods. Its fresh grown apples from Wisconsin sell at 65% of what Whole Foods charges. This all adds up. Hey if you have the $$, sure go to whole foods. But when you want to save money to use on better things, such as eating good food, why not go to Walmart?! Safe, convenient, and cheap. Sounds good to me. It outstands me how many of peers refuse to shop at Walmart, usually for "safety" reasons or prefering not to deal with those PO Walmart types. Hey, if i can deal with them for 2 hours a month to save $$, count me in. read more
