I shopped here for years because it was convenient and familiar. I finally stopped. The employees are miserable. They have no desire to help. I imagine it's from a company who treats them like dirt. I finally got tired of it. Lately my OTC card kept being declined. I thought it was me not understanding the new 2026 changes. Each time it was denied, I asked for help. I only got looks of "i don't care" or "it's your problem not mine". I decided to go to Box 10. And oh wow. It was the best experience. My card approved all items that Walmart denied for weeks. The employees are so helpful and happy. The atmosphere is amazing. I have no plans of going back to this incompetent big corporation store who could care less about humanity. Being Handicapped, I waited 40 minutes to park in one of the Pickup spots and again another 40 minutes before I left my car and went to the delivery door to inquire as to my Order. I met a clerk who was pulling a cart with multiple orders, one had my name on it. The clerk barely acknowledged me and after loading what seemed to be my total order I was told 'We're doing our Best!' I/We know that's not true as Service in the past was prompt and efficient. Mediocrity is NOT a Benchmark for a Retail Service Industry. For the second time in as many months I was charged for items I did not receive. If there could be a Negative rating I would give it. I suggest Budget Saver, Rouses or Winn-Dixie all of which have better Pick-up Services. read more

-5 stars prices are always wrong on the items. There's no price check machine near the aisle anymore so you have to hunt down a less than happy worker or walk to the front of the door to ring it up yourself. They are a "super" center but carry limited to almost no organic and clean food items/products mostly trashy chemicals!!! If you looking for clean food items go to one of the Arab grocery stores or make the trip to Whole Foods. They don't seem to have adequate staffing during rush times. I see the yellow jackets and plain clothes managers in the back rearranging shelves instead of opening more checkout lines. The lines, even for self checkout are backed up into the clothing department. It seems like you should pull from other departments when you can clearly see it's backed up too bad. And the managers who dropped the ball with staffing should ALL be out here in a register too. read more

Walmart is Walmart. Can't expect too much from this place. Some days good, then other days bad. Mainly shop here to pick up quick items and leave. Needs more check out lines! Needs to be 24 hours again! Needs better shopping carts because 75% of them do not roll correctly. Roll backs are merely 1-2¢ from original prices. Like I said, Walmart is Walmart. Absolutely love their pick up service/ ordering your stuff online and then picking it up without having to deal with rude ass people is genius! The people who put the stuff in your car are always nice with no attitude- I always slip them a couple dollars even they are not supposed to take it- hell they save my sanity for not having to go in that store- also loading my car helps me a lot as well because I can't do all of that Only wish they took coupons and savings apps But I guess you can't have everything read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, so I went in looking for 4 lug trailer tire I needed help with which one I should get from the picture online. I asked for help from a man I seen he said ask for someone else in that department he don't know what I was showing him was. So I go to ask a lady in the automotive department she barely even looks at the picture and says "that's online" kinda with an attitude and walked away but come to find out my boyfriend goes look for the tire and found it hours later. Walmart is Walmart nothing really less to expect than that. But it just seems like nobody there wants to work or help nobody. This is a piss poor place to get an oil change. They have two speeds here. Dead slow and stop. The guys and girl is bull shitting more than working when they aren't wandering around. I choice this place over a 10 min oil change because I thought Walmart would be a reliable place. Bad choice. I brought two trucks here today to get the oil changed. I have given great reviews over some of the other walmart tire centers, but this one I wouldn't recommend to someone I didn't like. read more

Your typical Walmart store. Long checkout lines, low prices, decent employees, etc. This one is different than most locations because the pharmacy is in an island near the groceries and not against the front wall of the store. I find that a bit concerning because deliveries of pharmacy drugs have to pass random customers to get to the island as opposed to going through a back door accessible only to employees. Some customer could just as easily steal or hold up a delivery person. Scary. Most people give walmart 3 stars or less. I give it 4 because you know what to expect by now so there's no disappointment with long lines. Plus I like the savings catcher app. The store was otherwise well organized. read more

Very RUDE personnel at the Customer Service Desk!!! Once my call was answered which was 5 minutes and longer before the phone was answered, I asked if this was the store located in Marrero -- she put me on hold, would not answer my question. I called again and the phone rang for another 5 minutes, then she hung up on the line. I called a third time, that is when I decided I should write a review. You can bet that her store manager is not aware that this is going on -- Walmart headquarters in Arkansas would be livid knowing that someone with no customer service in mind is handling the phone lines. I shop at wally world way to much. THEY ALWAYS HAVE EMPLOYEES STOCKING THE SHELVES DURING THE BUSIEST TIMES. Can't do that after midnight when the store is closed and not inconveniencing the shoppers. Several times I asked a manager if the store was going out of business because some of the shelves were empty. The response, they are having trouble with their distributor (that would be wal mart). Never enough checkout lines open. I love it when you ask an employee where something is and they say "that's not my department". I love that !!! I especially love the shopping carts that need a front end alignment or one of the wheels is falling off. That's always fun pushing down an aisle. read more

Was only at this Walmart because I left an appointment that was in this neighborhood. I like that this location has self checkout. It's normal at any Walmart on the Westbank to have to stand in line for 10-20 minutes. Idk why checkout takes so freakin' long, but I'm always mentally prepared to spend more time in line than I do shopping.The self checkout lines move faster than the other lanes. This location is clean and organized. Nothing special. read more

The store is a typical Walmart just more ghetto. You have to get your receipt reviewed before they let you out the door. Usually you'll have to wait in line for extensive amounts of time because there are too few check-outs open. I frequently get asked legal questions by the employees when I go in my work uniform. Have also been told by a cashier that I should apply for food stamps??? read more
