All was well the first time I shopped there earlier today. Tionne was helpful in assisting me with my shopping needs. I got what I needed, including an E.L.F.halo setting powder. There were only three on display: a light, vey light and a medium tone. The barcode was flawed on package so I got another package SHARTIA could scan. She ended up putting the wrong tone package in my bag. I didn't notice until I got home. I am visiting from out of town so I'm unfamiliar with the area.. I walked back to exchange it...only for Sharita or Tionne to sell me the same one I returned!! It was dark out and I trusted the two women to handle this exchange efficiently. I did not check package until I got back and was going through the return bag. As a customer, it find this small mishap to be quite unacceptable because it's an easy transaction that requires very little: Receipt or ID CC for exchange or refunds. It's not a major issue but it is important to ME because it shows lack of care and attention to detail... now I have to walk there yet AGAIN in the morning for this issue to be corrected. I am here on q business related trip so my time is very limited. I wasn't planning on an multiple trips to the store for mistakes that could have been prevented or resolved quickly. I wish I didn't have to write this negative review but perhaps I can bring to light the mindset of a customer who has an unsatisfactory experience not once but TWICE within the same evening and the overlooked same PRODUCT sale. read more

This CVS is fairly new, has friendly employees, and is well stocked. I stopped here to have a new passport photo taken, and an happy with the service I received. They share a parking lot with a few other businesses, and there were lots of available parking spots on the day of my visit. It was all good. read more

---The pharmacy here, on several occasions, has closed the drive-up window with a hand-written note. Yesterday, it happened again. By phone, the pharmacist said my father's heart med would be ready in an hour. He went over an hour later, and there was the window note. He would not go inside because of the rudeness at the counter. We had originally chosen this location because of the drive-through. All our meds will now go thru Walgreens --- a farther distance, but certain meds are very important. read more

While in NOLA for the first time, I fell ill and was in dire need of antibiotics. My doc instructed me aheas of time to choose a pharmacy to pick up meds should she end up calling them in. So here I was, in a new city, looking at reviews for a reputable pharmacy 'near me'. And I gotta say, I was not impressed by what people had to say. The 'incompetence' and 'rudeness' of people working at the local CVS and Walgreens was overwhelming according to customers. Well, I found this particular CVS with really good reviews near a restaurant we had reservations at, so I figured I'd have my meds filled there and we could swing by on the way. I walked in, got my meds which was filled within 45 mins of my doctor calling them in, and I was out in no time. Staff was great and I was relieved to have gotten what I needed with zero drama. Thanks CVS pharmacy staff for your professionalism. Keep up the great work! read more

This CVS has gone down the tubes considerably over the last few months. When you walk into the store you cannot find a hand basket to gather all of your items. Sometimes there's a push cart but they only have a couple. Today I went in there to buy just a few items knowing full well that I would have to carry them in my hands until I got to the self check out. One of the items I wanted to purchase was deodorant but the entire section was empty. I asked an associate per the sign for help and was taken to the back of the store where they wheeled out a giant cart for me to flip through and try to find the deodorant that I actually wanted. If you take the time to talk to the managers why this is happening they will explain to you that it's because there is a huge theft problem in their store. They no longer provide the means for you to shop or the items unless you ask for them to be brought out from the back. I am giving them one star in their review because the store is always clean and the employees are at least friendly when they explain to you why the store is a complete mess. Of course they don't use those words they are very polite but it doesn't take an idiot to figure out that this store is in a state of flux and it's headed in a downward spiral towards being a complete wreck I won't be back to this location, the Walgreens close to my house is a good option. Or I can just stay home and let Amazon deliver it. This was a very nice store for a very long time but unless something changes they're not gonna have any customers left. read more

You give them a prescription to fill and they think they have the right to invade every aspect of your life! I signed up to receive text alerts about prescriptions, NOW THE FUCKERS ARE ROBOCALLING ME! They do it again and they are history. Oh, and don't forget that the store is half stocked (or less) and it is really, really difficult to find anything in the OTC pharmacy section -- the arbitrary placement of stock makes NO sense at all. Add the addition of job-killing self-check out, and you have a trifecta of poor management thinking. read more

When Rouses is just a little too cray to pick up a handful of items, it's nice having a CVS near by that hasn't developed a reputation as a homeless folks hangout like many other convenience stores have on this street. It's a the front of an area being developed, aka Mid-Metairie, so I'm sure it'll get busier and harder to park at some point, but right now it's pretty empty. The store is cavernous and very clean. It's fairly easy to navigate with little bubble signs under bigger signs letting you know what's where. The staff greets you wherever they are in the store. Since they just opened they don't seem to have a ton of folks on staff yet, but the people that are, are well-informed and knowledgeable about their stock. In terms of stock, this is an odd one, but I went to go try and find a dozen run of the mill folders, and could only find 2 or 3 each of various kinds stocked. I think being over by Office Depot, it may be smart to stock office supplies better, but that is literally my only complaint. I'll continue to drop into this CVS for quick purchases when needed in this neck of the woods! read more

The place is new so it's very clean, organized, and easy to navigate. They have a lot of sales since Walgreens is just down the street. It's a great thing they are keeping competitive prices. The staff is very courteous. They ask if you need help the minute you walk in the door. (Every single time I've visited) Have to say I'm very pleased with this new addition to mid city!! I came into the CVS on N. Carrollton (New Orleans #10594) about 45 mins. before they closed this evening. I was trying to do a last minute "coupon run." While checking out, my 20% off CVS coupon would not apply to my purchase. I couldn't understand why. My cashier voided my transaction and started again, the coupon still wouldn't work. I was a bit disappointed but the cashier, Lyneshia, was so pleasant and friendly! I must've had the saddest "puppy dog face" because Lyneshia kept trying to figure out why my 20% discount was not applying. After a few moments and multiple attempts, she realized that all of my items were on sale and that's why the coupon would not work. I was aware of the policy but totally spaced it at the time. I say all of this to say, LYNESHIA WAS FANTASTIC and so patient with me! The superior customer service at this CVS location is much appreciated, keep it up. read more

Terrible customer service, asked to speak to a Manager was placed on hold not once but twice on 12/30/19 at 13:33 if anyone at CVS is reading this, was told by pharmacy rep when asked if they could obtain my Prescription from another CVS "we don't get paid to go shopping at other CVS pharmacies" read more

Customer service here SUCKS!!! The cashier was having problems doing a money order transaction then a manager has to come by 3x seeing the line getting longer before she helps her. No apology just a ...NEXT CUSTOMER IN LINE...when I ask where the restroom is for my husband she says "I can't help you now, we gotta take care of this line". So I made my purchase and said never mind. CVS needs to do some customer service retraining. Too many stores to choose from to spend your money at to be treated this way. read more
