I haven't stepped foot in a Walmart in years, but ever since the pandemic, I started shopping WalMart.com a lot. I had one item I wanted to return but couldn't make it to a store promptly because of the pandemic. I took it here and right away without even trying anything on the register or asking me for the receipt, the employee looks at the box with a disgusted look and says "where did you get this?" Girl. Duh. Here. It was a Dyson handheld vacuum still unopened in it's original box. I had my online receipt and even the shipping box it came with. She scanned my barcode quickly and proudly said, "nope. can't take it back." When I asked her why, she said "I don't know, the systems just not taking it" She then told me to go through the seller (because I guess WalMart.com sells things from different sellers...?) And sends me home with a customer service phone number. I have been going back and forth with this "seller" to try and get my money back and they're not trying to budge. It's a $280 Dyson that I'm not just going to keep and say "oh well". I have a feeling the girl at the customer service counter could definitely have taken it back but didn't want to because of the price tag. I'm not a fan of employees acting like returns come out of their own pockets. Over WalMart. Forever. The non-binary person at the checkout also didn't let me buy my $5 bottle of wine because my ID was expired. Let me liiiiive. It's a $5 bottle lol. read more

This review is base solely on only online pick orders if your reading this and don't like to wait or deal with parking or the line then you might just want to consider this I myself was a non believer and wanted to see and touch my groceries or necessities, but ordering online pick up is definitely a game changer. Website is easy to navigate you pick your time slot and desired items to cart, pay and you go accordingly to your time slot you will be notified of items via email, arrive to your local Walmart and bam find a parking spot number and your groceries will be out shortly. Convenience is always nice nowadays try and comment if it's a game changer.. good luck read more

Ok little place when you need to stop and quickly get a few items before you go on a long road trip with your friends. Me and my friends all took a road trip to New York so we were very happy we were able to get all the stuff we needed from this Walmart. If I could give the Manteca Walmart a negative review I would It is always so dingy the and unclean . The mangers are lazy and you always have to wait half an hour or longer to talk them , they burrow themselves in office by registers.The I'm assuming upper management because they were yellow badges sit around and just talk in circles for hours. Not to mention they're registers always breaking down went in yesterday and they wouldn't accept cash for payment. Whoever is in charge of swapping out the expire products in the bacon aisle is not doing their job! I've had 3 separate incidents where I went into the store and saw expire bacon that has been expired for almost a month sitting with the newly packaged bacon. I've ordered bacon through the Walmart pickup service and was given month old expired bacon! My dad even went to see what the issue was and saw the same thing I did in the bacon aisle, month old expired bacon sitting with the newly packaged/placed bacon. They are not properly doing their inventory and I will start shopping at a different Walmart if you guys don't fix this issue! Went to this Walmart today to return a electric kettle which I bought only 4 days ago. Still in box with a receipt and Carrie at customer service refused to take it back. Carrie was rude and disrespectful and I believe I was racially profiled. She continued to tell me that a lot of bad people come in here like me trying to take advantage of the system. Don't call the local Walmart for baker, deli, app orders, or even operator assistance. In fact only the pharmacy will answer your calls to this Walmart. The pharmacy assistant transferred me to a line that wasn't answered, so she was not aware none of other lines available. So, don't waste time trying to get any customer service. On 3/4/2020 the employees working the cart retrieval machine ran into the rear of an open Tahoe. Causing the door to close the door on to an elderly woman. / my mother. Employees have always been rude here. Tonight the gentleman runnning the self checkout area came up to me while I was checking out and told me "You know you have to pay for those right?" I was in the self checkout today, and the worker stood right next to me when I was scanning my items due to 2 $20 dollar toys I had in my cart, after I was done checking out I was bagging my items, she runs to the cashier section grabs a device and scanned one of the toys to see if I scanned it!! This Walmart has the worst customer service. No one picks up the phone. I have been trying every department for the last 2 hours. I went to this Walmart yesterday evening and made a lot of purchase. I asked the cashier to put my produce in the bag which all the other household things I put in the cart. The cashier forgot to give me the bag with the produce and I didn't realize it at the time. I have been trying to call Walmart to confirm if they found the bag with my produce before going there but no one is picking up the phone. I tried all departments. The management needs to be changed for this store to provide a better customer service. What's up with the lack of shopping carts? Every time I go there are no carts in the store or in the stalls in the parking lot. I've had to patiently wait while another customer unloads to their car. Absolutely an AWFUL store. Almost every time I go to shop there isn't a cart in the store to shop with, not one. The employees look at you like your crazy because you requested someone to go get you a cart. The front of the store has people begging for money or food and they just sit on the ground near the front door. There are people walking through the parking lot trying to sell you items. There are never more than 2 checkouts open and always have half of the self checkouts closed, during peak times when there are those most people in the store and even when it's slow nothing is open. Employees never come to get things out of the locked cabinets and when they do they take 15 mins and are rude. Always hard to find an electric cart here, and now itis useless. Due to theft, the carts (when you can find one) now have POLES attached so that they cannot be taken out of the store!!! Supposedly, a staff member will transfer your shopping to a regular cart and accompany you to your car. Why not just come with you and the electric cart and then bring it back to the store? And what about people whose companion used to park, go in and bring the cart out for their friend because they can't walk at all? I begin to think this is discrimination. I ordered a TV online due to being pregnant and trying to avoid the store as much as possible. I was charged 3 times on my bank account and then shortly after i get a fraud alert from Bank Of America. I contacted Walmart and was told there is no customer service at this time because there is no returns. I advised the employee that I have recieved 3 charges on my account for 1 online purchase. She tells me its been happening to alot of people and that the charges will come off my account late tomorrow. Now I need to get a new debit card since my bank is blocked my account which requires me going to the bank.
