The shelves are clean and clearly marked, merchandise seems to be where it belongs, certain products are not on shelves that are shown on the website such as handheld wrench sets, there is no place even marked on the shelves where the items might be sold out. I was accused of not scanning a item when the item in question was double scanned accidentally. The representative deleted the double scanned item but the POS manger sent a manger to investigate. After the manager concluded I did scan the item and it was accidentally double scanned but removed the double scanned item, I didn't receive an apology but excuses. I'm a "cash paying customer" and don't receive any food subsidy which I brought over $380 worth of groceries on the day in question being harassed by management behind a $13 pack of meat. This type of behavior by upper management is not acceptable and in my opinion this should be addressed immediately. There's no way with all the money Walmart invest into their camera system should anything like this to ever happen. This is the most inept worthless company and store location I've ever been to. When my dog turned up missing on a Saturday morning they initially assisted a search. However, immediately thereafter they wanted NOTHING to do with me or helping me. They have a rough population of people living around them and a lot of woods which also are unsafe and they have a responsibility to protect the customers. This is why they get the lawsuits nonstop. They refuse to even put up flyers or advise what they did and did not see on video. They think there's nothing they can do -there's A LOT they could and should do. read more

This store is horrible. You will find expired food on their shelves & on items they delivered. Sometimes they don't even bother to put an expiration date on their food products. I'm elderly so often order delivery & my delivery is ALWAYS missing items. Because the store doesn't have a drop down for missing items you must go to corporate to be refunded. Tonight after several efforts to get a refund I went to corporate chat line & was able to get a refund for 1 item, then realized I was actually missing 2 items. It's upsetting, especially today as the rain caused a sink hole & I ordered a bag of dirt to fill it that wasn't delivered, once I facilitated the refund I went to eat dinner & discovered my rotisserie chicken was not delivered either. I give up on this store, they're just a mess. read more

I was at the Walmart store January 1, 2024. 1401 Gray Hwy. Something wasn't right. There was trash on the floor, food carts are always blocking the aisle, one guy was stocking meat and he was throwing the boxes in the middle of the floor, I moved two out of my way so I could get by. I've been in stores in the ghetto that are cleaner than this store. Not only that, there was food on the shelves that someone opened. I just bought another car last week. Horrible long lines, customer service is OK, it just depends on the person you encounter. Product availability could be better! If you go anytime after 10pm ish expect to be in line FOREVER because they normally only have one lane, two lanes of your lucky but usually that line is long as well. This Walmart could do a lot better, if you are able to I recommend the Walmart on Zebulon Rd over this one. Oh my god what a terrible tire repair shop. First I have a blowout on I 16 and call the store to verify they are open, yep they are I tell them I am an hour out and show up at 6:30. They then tell me they cannot change tires unless it is an emergency. Ok a blown tire constitutes as an emergency since I can't drive on the small spare for another three hours. The clerk is sullen and takes our keys and writes it up once we select the replacement tire. We start to shop. Next I hear over the PA speaker automotive is looking for a manager. The manager yells over the head of a customer "Really, really!" Then has a yelling conversation with the auto clerk 50 feet away. The manager give me some BS about how they must have two technicians on duty to replace a tire die to OSHA regulations. And she has a mortgage and will not stick her neck out for me. Obviously no compromise and no tire. The remainder of the transaction went the same surly clerk slides the keys to me with no customer acknowledgment Stay away from this place they obviously don't care about their customers. Found a Pep boys on 1230 Eisenhower parkway with friendly competent people. Go there instead. read more

To be fair there are two employees in the auto care center at this Walmart that has some type of leadership and competence to serve the customers at the counter. Many times there are employees at the desk that don't know how to access information on the computer, there is no one to help them. If you have two hours to waste getting your oil changed this is the place to go. They only put Pennzoil or Quaker State in your motor. If you normally use another type of oil or your car manufacturer recommends another type don't take your car there. This place runs on automatic. No one is in charge. read more

The lines here are absolutely ridiculous. You are lucky to go here and there be more than one lane open. Customer service could be better. But they do a decent job. The store is sometimes unorganized and could use better stock. I would recommend the Walmart on Zebulon rd over this one. I got to the store an hour later after my order to do some other shopping and as I notice I got a cancelation email one hour after. I asked the employees in electronics about why it would get cancelled with 7 at the store counter and they rudely informed me that none onsite cause people came in a purchased after I waited 20 mins for their attention and it was 5 employees around the register. When I asked them about another TV, with out checking or hesitation they said they don't have it. I asked them about how long it would take for a refund. They said it would take a while. Brushing me off, I stated would they be able to contact another store to see if they had it and they said no because the dressing rooms are closed and they are the ones who answer the phones, after seeing one of the employees answering a customer call while I was in line. They clearly had plenty of TV's out and I would have purchase another brand without hesitation because it was my husband's upgrade. They blew me off so I left all my groceries because I would not spend money at the Gray Hwy store ever again and I went to Best Buy and purchase a 75 inch television for my Husband. I will also be switching my pharmacy. Before going to Best Buy I did go over to Zebulon Road and the employee contacted another store because they did not have very many large TV's in stock. I am not from Macon or Georgia but i'll still review cause they got me messed upi dropped my car off for tire replacement then i left. when i came back i noticed my sunglasses and other things i put over the coins to hide the coins were out of my coin jar. The jar was in a very discreet place and either way it didn't even need to be touched to move the car to a parking spot. i came back and my shit was all over the place. almost all my coins were gone. i had nearly $20 in quarters. I know it may not be that deep, but Macon is a much more softer city than my hometown and by that i mean the people. If the person who serviced my car stole my money out my car and they lived in MY hometown they would've been shot up. They would literally be dead rn i'm jus saying where i'm from you better be real cautious if you do junk like that. Whoever stole my money is finna get real bad karma fr. This review is strictly for the eye center department: Both Dr. Murray (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) were so amazing! They made me feel at home, they joked, and were so very helpful through both my eye exams. They were such a great team! Everyone in the eye center department is very polite and nice. Miss Maxine retired. She was one reason why people came to this store. You could have ten lines open and her's would be packed because she was so nice. Now she retired. Nice greeter who actually greets and is smarter than a box of rocks which was the last greeter's resume triumph. But, problems continue. This is a dirty store. Don't go to the bathroom unless you can hold your nose and stand up while releaving yourself. Floors aren't much better, dirty, trash laden and just nasty. Of all the Walmarts in this area, I think this is the last one to be stocked. If you want something, it's listed on the shelf but out of stock. Started a small paint project and needed a specific can of paint. Had to go to WR to get it. Can't vouch for the deli department, though, some of it looks very old. They don't carry all the items that other Walmarts carry in town but I suspect that once a Walmart is opened in Gray, that this place will likely fold up. Twiggs and Jones County tags abound. Pharmacy has this nasty old woman who looks like she could play the part of a prison matron. The letters on the pharmacy have largely fallen off so who knows what's going on. Nasty attitude at the pharmacy. Obviously, they have "wifi attitude" running in the foreground. Rarely can you walk by without a long line of people waiting for their meds. Frankly, to save literally a dollar, it isn't worth it to hear the old gal's nasty voice of "Name," "date of birth" etc. I swear. Her face would crack if she smiled. Off all the Walmarts in this area, this is the worst for being the diriest, least stocked and having dumb employees and those with the most attitude. On the plus side, there are a few very kind workers who do not have their attitude at full mast but they usually are not to be found. I think that prices here are higher for somethings, things that they stock and you actually see the item in stock. This is the only Walmart that I've seen that has a little security truck roaming around with a yellow flashing light. I don't know what a 90 pound little old woman who's about 78 can do to make things safer, but you feel safer. On the whole, this place is safer than the Harrison Road prison, er, location. At least here, you can walk in and walk out without much fear of armed robbery. read more

Okay. I've been shopping here for YEARS! I have gotten a lot of plants here. No way will I be doing that again! I will be hard pressed to shop the inside too. The flowers were wilted, dying, and dead! The pots were completely dry in all of them. I swear the kid checking me out was stoned. I only got my short hose, a watering wand, and a pot. Forget getting out all of the potting soil and river rocks! That kid was asked where a water gauge was by someone and he asked ME where it was! So he told the lady to go to AUTOMOTIVE! Like said before... this location is HORRIBLE. We waited in the "20 items or less" line for nearly 15 minutes. .. consumer service is average. .. it just so happens that on our way in today someone got caught trying to "walk out" without paying for something. Police units it's were on site, this made us feel a little safer, but without the added police on site, this location feels unsafe, and susceptible to many of the things that are going on around the world rite now. If you do decide to visit this location, I would carry a personal protection weapon or at least have your head on a swivel. read more

I was in this store at 5:17 pm today. Some of the items I purchased were missing when I got home, apparently the cashier was in such a hurry to get off that she didn't give me everything I paid for. I went through lane 4. I called the store when I got home, omg horrible service. I was placed on hold and transferred 4 times then hung up on. I called back 3 time with the same service.
