I knew better. I haven't been in Walmart in several years and I'm honestly sorry to have broken my streak. From the unplowed and unsafe parking lot to the door greeters who do everything except greet guests, to the dirty entry way, the first impression of the store is dismal. The customer service desk where I attempted to get assistance had a line 10+ people deep and no sign of significant movement. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!! I used the pick up method for the 1st and AND DEFINITELY MY VERY LAST TIME!!! They had no idea where my order was, Didn't know where I was parked, And BROKE 11 OF 18 EGGS that I purchased!!! A manager had to be called, and even with that, I still got crappy service. I followed the app instructions, put in the color of my car and where I was parked and waited over 40 minutes only to be told "We don't have recorrd of that order". Bad scary location, they don't stay open past midnight anymore bc it's a sketchy area. The store also has police there constantly especially around closing time. Enjoy goin to kroger or Target up the road instead, less risk and better products. This place is always crazy busy and not well stocked like some of the other locations. I was pretty upset that although the shredder part of device had been all packed up, when I unwrapped the packing and turned it over, it had clearly been used!! I know you can't judge a chain by one location, but this has to be my least favorite Walmart of all time. It always takes me at least 20 minutes to check out, no matter what time of day I visit. I'm not sure if it's necessarily understaffed, but it seems like no one is around when I need assistance. I cannot give a negative number so I'll do this. Quite possible the most trash attitude Customer Service Ive ever seen from any store anywhere. I sat for over 45 minutes in the parking lot waiting for my drive up order. Email arrived at 5:47 saying the order was ready. I pulled up at 6:17 and called the number, telling them I was there in spot #3. They said they were busy but they would be out with my groceries ASAP. 40 minutes later at 6:57 I called and asked where my groceries were while this lousy manager stumbled over her words, trying to find my order, talking to others while she was on the phone with me and finally asked if I had actually called when I had arrived. Seriously? I put the pieces together later that she was a lazy manager just covering her butt. I told her the exact time I called and told her to check her call records. I saw very few Walmart employees coming out to deliver groceries over the next 15-20 minutes. So I called again, clearly upset only to be met with someone who felt she had the right to hang up on a customer that was upset for what was clearly mismanagement. Hung up on me! I walked inside to see some cross-eyes manager with zero control, several employees standing around with no order. Customer service gave me the cold shoulder when I expressed my frustration and finally went down there to ask what was going on. They all covered for each other and just treated me like an ass rather than acknowledge I was waiting there in there incompetence for what was now approaching an hour for groceries I had already ordered. They wouldn't acknowledge me or help me because I was mad. They immediately went into defense mode and caught an attitude. It was so bizarre! I had to actually ask security to help me find the store manager before i caused a CNN-worthy scene. Finally the real asst store manager, Rachel, emerges from wherever she was and just like her employees defended herself and her stores poor customer service. She offered no apology until I demanded one and believes her stupid attitude-laden employees and is not in the least professional or humble about the problem. What a joke! I met several other customers at standing there waiting and inquiring after sitting in the parking lot just like me. I pointed that out to her and told her to acknowledge the issue at hand and get control. She finally asked if I had all my groceries. And then dismissed me. I wheeled the stupid blue cartons outside myself and started loading them into the car on my own only to find the cross-eyed manager racing after me with the police officer she beckoned from the parking lot. He stopped me because they hadn't checked my groceries out. And essentially started treating me like I had stolen the groceries! These morons gave me my groceries to load myself then called cops on me! Seriously!!!! The cop ended up being super nice, giving me dap and apologized for Walmart's foolishness, recognizing that I was so hyped I could barely talk. Then a kind young Walmart kid rolled up. He and the office loaded my groceries with me. That young man was the nicest person at Walmart and likely the youngest. What a shame for this store. Ignorant people who care more about defending themselves against outraged customers rather than owning their mistakes. Absolutely the most bizarre experience I've ever faced. While wal mart is the Mecca of having almost everything you can imagine it also has a reputation as well. Unfortunately this wal Mart also lives up to the reputation it has built up by its customers as well as the staff. There is never an open register despite having so many employees. Also late at night they only have the typical one register open as opposed to having the self check out lanes open. This one does close at midnight though. So no late night wal mart trips here! When I came in most recently to return something I was greeted by extreme rudeness from the customer service person. Then when I was trying to explain my situation you could tell the woman didn't care at all and gave the most half hearted uncaring "I'm sorry sir I can't help you" response to me. I've never actually had a positive experience at this place (or at most wal Marts lets be honest) and I do my absolute best to not come here at all. For produce go to fresh thyme on 86th and township line instead. For other things go to Kroger or use amazon. Way easier and MUCH better experiences. read more

I didn't have the best experience coming in early before work. I stood at the deli counter for service forever to get some fruit and nut chicken salad and that would not have been a problem if not for the fact that the employees weren't assisting customers, they were just talking to each other. I gave this location a chance for a year but I'm done. I don't know where to start. Fighting off beggars in the parking lots or in the store, seeing several non-service dogs in the store on several occasions, filthy indoors and out, and just gross. My latest - and last- visit was a doozy. A self scan register with some sort of "liquid" all over it, which was beeping and not less than three employees looking at it and just walking away. A small dog walking around on a leash as if in a dog park, culminating with it taking a poop in the meat aisle. The owner went to produce and used a produce bag to pick up the smelly mess. Imagine this person picking up dog feces in the store is also touching the produce, the meat, the bread, deli items, dairy, EVERYTHING. I was told by a stocker that dogs are allowed in the store IF they are in a cart with a blanket set down. 100% incorrect! Even as a fanatical animal lover I was absolutely appalled. Can't make this stuff up, folks. Shop elsewhere. read more

Of what I've seen, this location has some of the lowest prices around as compared to other Walmarts in this area. I do believe the service could be improved. A lot of their employees aren't super helpful or very friendly. You usually spend more time in line is than shopping. I do see they have tried to improve with the self check outs, but a lot of times it seems half of them aren't opperating. read more

So I went to a self check out then a lady ran over and closed the lane right before I was going to scan did not say a word to and went back to talk to her friends. Ok, so I don't want anyone here to judge me based on the fact that Yelp calls me a "regular" here because I'm NOT! Ok? I use the check-in feature to get points but I'm not a regular. I just visit the frozen dinners aisle as they have the cheapest and widest selections of Heathy Choice, Lean Cuisine, and Weight Watchers meals that I buy for my daily lunch at work. Got it? I'm not even on a diet but you can't beat a 2 dollar healthy meal. So that's it, just a quick visit, minus waiting in line for like 20 minutes, as this place is always entirely packed. Or the 5 minute search I have trying to find a shopping basket because they're never where the employees say they are. Or the countless times I'm checking my back pocket to make sure my wallet is still there because of the shady customers lurking around Or how I'm scanning up and down aisle as I was almost hit by a runaway shopping cart barreling down the aisle with some adolescent riding behind it. So unless you're going here for something really specific like I am don't bother. It's not worth your time. Unless you're a glutton for punishment. It's hard to believe that it was possible, but Walmart has gotten worse. I used to able to find things, but now the most random stuff has been randomized so much with their new "remodel" that not even employees could help me. Yes, the seasonal next to dishes next to hardware and paint. Hmmm... but the light bulbs are nowhere to be found. Oh, what's that you say? Go look in the corner? Which one cause there are four of em? Oh look here's Brita filters all by themselves no where near the dishes and plates and other kitchen appliances in a corner obscured by an aisle plopped in the middle of no where. Good thing I found them, but, oops! I bought a Brita filter pitcher before it was en vogue to skip bottled water. Oh look here's some clearance light bulbs, but not the ones I want... OH! Joy! Here are the bulbs, right next to televisions, but behind a wall... that makes some sense, I guess, right? OK, the copy paper is where? Somewhere in the middle of the store? But these little 15 foot aisles going at right angles to one another do nothing for flow and finding things. Oh, wait, lemme listen in on the manager's 9am stand-up meeting in the middle of the TVs with all the department heads. What's this? After their million dollar remodel they are going to go back to the old format because customers were frustrated with not being able to find anything! HA!!! Walmart proves once again that they are not smarter than their customers... and that's not saying a lot. It's a never-ending world of absent-minded employees, long lines, and creepy customers. My last nerve today. I tried to pick up an order that my husband made on their website. It was before 4pm, which is the less than normal chaotic crowd. Asked three desks where to pick up my order to be told that I couldn't get it because I was not authorized to on the order. I've had the misfortune of having 2 flat tires at different times and choosing Wal-Mart for repairs both times. The first time, my tire was flat, it was snowing, it was Sunday, and AAA was backed up for hours. Wal-Mart was the closest place, so I drove myself there on a busted tire. Recently, I ran over a pothole and drove on my spare for much longer than I should have. I called a highly rated repair shop on Yelp, and they couldn't take me for a couple days. I reluctantly went to Walmart, which I typically can't stand. But to be honest, both times I was treated well and was in and out without breaking the bank. They initially recommended a part and I agreed, but after they placed the new tire, they told me I didn't need it after all and didn't charge me for it. I appreciate that honesty. read more

I literally had to run in for a pair of black tights and was asked by three people in the parking lot for money...and I was parked close to the door. Hrrrrmmmm. Once inside with the tights in hand, it took another 20 minutes to check out. One live cashier line was open and the rest of us (at least 15 carts worth) were waiting for the three working self-checkout lines. They must be understaffed, or just not care about speedy checkouts. Don't go if you're in a hurry. The parking lot will be jammed up and full with crazy drivers and panhandlers. This was a reminder of why I never go to WalMart. This place is A-OK for a Wal-Mart, The store was clean, it has fancy bottled water machines, and the staff was pleasant. They seemed to have everything in stock that I needed. I went to Walmart for some batteries for hand held games. I am new to the area so I didn't know the layout yet. I asked a CSM about the jewelry department and she said it was closed. I said it shouldn't matter if a paying customer wants to ask a question about the batteries. I had to ask her twice where else batteries would be and she sent me to hardware and another associate sent me to another place before being sent to the right area for the batteries. I said excuse me ma'am to who turned out to be the store manager and she tried to walk away from me. Poor excuse for customer service. I know they are sort staffed because of the times we live in but they should still take care of their customers better than they did me. read more

Extremely slow, care-free, rude employees! The service is painfully slow... if you have to come here add an extra 30 minutes to your allotted shopping time. I had to pick something up from an online purchase and waited nearly 30 minutes at the counter (no one was in front of me), as multiple employees walked by me, before someone asked if I needed help.
