You can drop off items behind their store, or in off hours bring them into the store. They so not spend tons of money on fancy TV commercials and fancy stores. Their profits go to directly serve homeless people and those with substance addiction problems. I personally know one of the people they helped to turn their life around. Please make the little extra effort to go to their thrift store which is east of the super Walmart on 96th to shop and donate. Help this small organizarion continue to do good work in our community.

This location is on the same side of the road as the Walmart and in the same plaza as the Petco, Platos, and the Autoparts store. The staff are super nice and there are a lot of volunteers walking around as well. I have found several things that are new with tags (priced accordingly), tons of name-brand goods, and there is rarely that funky thrifted smell that permeates everything you get from the WMS. They have everything from clothes to furniture/household goods to really nice jigsaw puzzles. Everything is super easy to find. Prices here at the Mission Store are a little higher than places like Goodwill, but every purchase supports the Wheeler Mission by providing meals and funding for training to their residents. There are also hand-made candles and other wares that the residents make while staying at Wheeler for purchase. Once while shopping I noticed it was busier than normal and the associate explained that they allow Wheeler residents to come and shop for what they need to get back on their feet. COOL!

I've noticed the Today's Bedroom One Clearance Center when I've went to Fry's Electronics before in the maze of warehouses and retail outlets just north of 96th Street and east of I-69. I called before I went to see if they actually had any couches in stock... after all, it is supposed to be a bedroom furniture store. Indeed, the employee informed me that they did have a few. If I knew what he meant by a few, I probably wouldn't have went. There was one upholstered couch and one loveseat, along with a few random futons. Not exactly what I had in mind, but I'd been wanting to see exactly what they did have for a while now, so it was worth the trip. This place is literally a warehouse, and the clearance center area is an area of the whole warehouse where they must store the merchandise for the regular stores. Also, this is right next to where their corporate headquarters are located, so just be sure to make sure you are going into the right door. Nobody greeted me when I walked in nor did anyone speak to me the whole time I was there, but I didn't really expect much in the way of customer service at an outlet. They do have mostly bedroom furniture - a pretty big selection of king and queen beds, a few mattresses, lots of dressers, nightstands and armoires, as well as a few children's beds. Looks like most of the items were scratch & dents and floor models. I noticed a few irregularities, and some had knobs or pull handles missing. However, the prices were really, really low. If you are in the market for new furniture and don't have a lot of money to spend, but do want something that is well-made rather than buying build-it-yourself junk at discount stores, I recommend visiting this store. I was particularly impressed with the selection of armoires. Prices were a fraction of what you'd normally pay. I'm no mathematician, but it looked like some were as much as 75% off normal prices. It looks like you might have to handle the delivery aspect of the furniture yourself here, so make sure you find out if that's true before making a purchase!

I checked out the ornaments and the one I liked said out of stock. I asked the worker how I could get one and she said I could check online, otherwise it's out because Hallmark makes ornaments for the year and next year will be different to make you keep on buying. I found another item that I purchased for a friend whose mom passed away. Her mom loved cardinals and they had a nice section of Cardinal things - I picked the Cardinal ornament.
