I visit our Walmart in Hanover, PA, because it is very convenient. However, this store can be very dysfunctional in many ways on a lot of days. Shelves are not stocked with some items, the restrooms are closed for cleaning a lot; however, the bathrooms can be disgusting. I've visited many Walmarts in other states, Georgia and North Carolina, and these stores are much cleaner all the way around. Although I understand the employees that are shopping for customer pick ups need to be in the aisles, but some days, they are really a nuisance and could care less about the customers that are shopping in the store. Again, I shop here because it's convenient, but it's really not a great experience shopping at this location. read more

They have allowed a "delivery driver " named Jeremiah steal orders for months. There have been numerous complaints and walmart is aware. They still give him your order, knowing it won't be delivered. read more

A guy got on all fours and started barking at me and the staff didn't give a shit (probably because most of them are underpaid 16 year olds)

Not one employee smiles in this place including the store manager and mgmt. They are look miserable. Bathrooms are disgusting as well. Shelf's are always empty. You smile at employees and they never ever say hello... ever!!!! The mother and daughter duo are miserable as well. Sue in HBA looks like she hates her job!!! Heck every employee looks miserable. Brittney should be store manager. She is polite. Speaks to you, not at u. read more

Wanted to send a shout out to JR (storage), hope I have that right. He helped me find something, which thankfully he knew all about. It almost was the worst day of my life, but he helped make it better :-). FYI, I never write reviews, so this one counts!! read more

The most professional and helpful staff. Quick. Knowledgeable. True problem solvers. I had an issue with a pick up order. No run around - just making it happen for me as the last minute gift buyer. read more

Third delivery order in a row that they messed up! First order, charged my card twice, and they denied it, saying one was a pending charge. Sure enough it was charged twice and I had to dispute. Second time I ordered, 78 of my items were MISSING. Sound like theft from the delivery person to me. The store manager contacted me and said he was sending me a gift card for my trouble. Never received the gift card. Just ordered again today, and there is a missing item! I am OVER this! DO NOT USE WALMART HOME DELIVERY, THEY JUST CAN'T GET IT RIGHT!!!!! read more

For the first time since I moved here, I had a decent service experience at Walmart. No one claimed that they didn't know where an item was located, staff was friendly, and polite. I've been there a few times and could not understand why people worked there if they cared so little. Yesterday was a good, fast, visit without any insults. read more

while shopping today I was hit very hard in my back from one of your employees with the big blue carts. I have a very big bruise and she almost knocked me down and took my breath away. they need to slow down and be more aware of shoppers. ridiculous. they need to see what is going on there it is not good before they seriously injure someone else read more

I called in two times. First time no one answer and was waiting for 10 mins. I then called again and the service desk lady would not every look to see if it was in stock by the register. She said I had to come in and look myself. Then stuck me on hold when I called her out saying all the other Walmarts look, I don't understand. I waited 5 mins on hold then hung up. Wtf. read more

Empty shelves and rotten looking organics, plus we just saw an employee dump garbage in the parking lot. He was a large man in a blue shirt and high-visibility vest. No one bothers to answer the phone. Only two cashiers on duty. Shameful! read more

They're only place that carries Italian herb seasoned flatbread and Minute Maid no sugar fruit punch!!!

The cashier we had was so lovely her name was Mary. She was an older woman but she was so kind and amazing at her job. She bagged our groceries perfectly and was very nice the entire time. read more

I want to thank Eric at the Hanover Eisenhower Walmart. My online pickup order was messed up and he went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed! He was awesome! Thank you! read more

This is by far the cleanest and most organized Walmart that I've visited. This store is about 15 farther away than my "home Walmart" but worth the drive. I haven't had any dealings with employees other than cashiers but it really seems like they take pride in their work. Even the clearance section was neat and organized. Items are in the correct location and the shelves are properly tagged. read more

Last time I was shopping at this Walmart my son was really excited about Pokemon pajamas and exclaimed, "oh my God mommy, check those out." The woman at the fitting room looked over and said " ha, there is no God kid." In my life I've never been so upset at someone in retail. We do not shop at this Walmart anymore. read more

I'm not sure why this Walmart has such crappy reviews. I went here several times and was never disappointed. Parking is fairly easy to find. It always has a crowd, so finding a space close to the entrance can be a hassle. They have a good selection of items. There were employees on the floor restocking items and were helpful when I needed to find a few items. Checkout was quick, and there were never crazy long lines. read more

I had a great experience at the electronic departments, manager very helpful to activate my new phone. Prices are super cheap and have different departments from groceries to hunting stuffs. You can find cloths, house decorations, toys, garden supplies, tools, and more. The con of Walmart stores-kills small business around the area. But if you live under a budge this is the right place to shop. Spacious Parking lot and they have red box movie rental in their store. read more

This store was absolutely horrible and the staff were rude and offensive. I asked the staff to request a manager speak to several customers about wearing masks to protect other people. The employees were upset that they were being asked to address the problem and were reluctant to contact the manager. I would stay away from this store since Covid is not a priority to them. read more

Not only are shelves either bare or have old and ugly produce, we just saw an employee take empty plastic bags out of a cart and toss them on the ground in the parking lot. So we tried to call, but no one answers the phone. And, get this, they have torn out checking stations and Uber-enlarged the self-check area. Things just keep getting worse. I think it's time to get out and stay out of Walmart! read more

Longest lines at self check outs I have ever seen! Probably waited 25 to 30 minutes! Only two cashiers. Three supervisors observed chit chatting with each other at self service registers. When I went to ask if there were any other back up cashiers that could open I was informed half the employees were out with covid so No!! Kind of scary!! Half employees out with covid!!! Long lines!!! Dont think we will be going back there for awhile! Went primarily to get flavored water but can get it at Dollar General. Oh and frozen food section had many areas empty. My husband said no frozen pies except for 1 pecan. I will add we had just left Sams which was well stocked and no waiting in line to check out! Sams just doesnt have flavored water!! Prayers for ill employees! I hope store is being sanitized well!! read more

My mother had just had surgery and was grabbing her groceries when a worker started bagging the people behind her groceries. My mom can not grab heavy bags due to her surgery and the cashier was nothing but rude and nasty and made my mother leave the store crying. Never shopping at Walmart again read more

Lots of options, most staff very friendly, self checkout is fast, free cookie for kids @ bakery & cheese slice @ deli. Parking is always challenging @ this location, but the layout is more inviting than south Hanover. read more

Was just at this Walmart and I am disgusted at this place. First off you had to weave in and out between carts because obviously they do not have an employee to come out to collect the carts. Or they're just to damn lazy! Employees inside were rude and not very friendly. One lady who was cleaning the bathrooms was talking to herself and seemed like she needed help. Overall will never come back to this location. read more

This is a Super - type Wal-Mart. Not that I think it's "super". That 's just what they call it. You know, maybe if it's called a Super WalMart, people will believe it's a "Super" Wal Mart. Uh-huuuuuuuh. It's actually Much like the Wal-Mart in Gettysburg, South Hanover, North York, or West Manchester. You'll find more or less the same stuff here as you would at most any other Wal Mart. They have a WalMart Cafe rather than an en suite McDonald's (-1 star), but they are distinguished by a Bavarian Pretzel counter (bavarian pretzel gets four stars. Their hostile business practices across the board wipe the score-board back to 1-star though. . .at least the prescription drugs are sometimes cheap and I care less if the industry to which they are hostile is the pharmaceutical one.) read more

Its a Walmart, enough said. We have two in the town I live in and they both are "super" Wal-marts. I rather spend a little more money and shop at the Giant next door if I need groceries or Target. read more

first of all, i was taking a break from walking so i sat down on a bean bag chair and a lady who worked at this walmart walked past my cousin, boyfriend and i and said "WOW" like wow what? we weren't vandalizing or stealing anything so what were we doing so wrong? second of all, they just leave nasty stuff everywhere. someone left a mostly eaten ice cream cone in a toy and i saw workers look at it but did nothing about it. LASTLY we were leaving and we came in the doors closer to arby's because we parked over at arby's and just walked over so we were b1tch3d at for going out of those doors. would not recommend giving them your money(which we bought drinks and snacks). you got your money now shut up read more

The cashier that waited on me was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. She was not only rude to me but also the senior citizen that was waited on in front of me. I wish I would have gotten here name but I didn't and I am afraid to give a physical description as I may be sued. However, this cashier clearly has a problem waiting on people and should look for a job that doesn't require interacting with the public. read more

Pretty good walmart, but they never answer their god damn phones. They always want to put you on hold and page other parts of their stores and then you sit there for 30 minutes waiting to ask a question because the 632-8444 number you call has the laziest damn people on the planet answering their phones. No wonder they all get minimum wage. read more
