Unfortunately everything is pretty much closed. There's a fish store, a drink place, a hair place, nail place, a furniture store, a jerry and sals pizza, a vitamin place, and a nerdy gaming store. There's also a little free library that you can take books to keep and give books. It's very sad. I remember when I was a kid going there and it was pretty good. My mom's remember's used to go all the time back in the 90s to like 2020. There's a guy who works there as a security guard and he was there when it opened in 1967. It's so sad, so much history, I wish somebody could/would save it. read more

Well, JCpenny's closing, along with the Parrot sanctuary(Not a huge loss). Auntie Annes is gone. This mall has a grim future ahead... Spencer's, Dick's and Burlington are still here though. read more

Stopped in on a random trip since we were in the area. It's obvious this mall is suffering and has seen better days. For a Friday night it was eerily empty and we only saw a total of maybe 20 people there. Way too many empty store fronts but it looks like the anchor stores are still in business (JC Penny, Burlington, and Dicks Sporting Goods) There are a few specialty stores such as GameStop, FYE and BAM but we had pretty horrible service in all of them. It's like the employees know the mall is on its last legs and just stopped caring. The service in BAM was especially bad. There was one customer ahead of us in the checkout line who had a lengthy question and two cashiers just looked bored by her. After 10 minutes in line without being acknowledged or looked at we gave up and left the 2 books we were going to buy behind. Does it take two cashiers to answer one customer's question? Other stores weren't much better. At least there's a soda machine and a pretty clean restroom. Other than that I'd go to the Walmart or Target down the street if you're looking to do some shopping. read more

Clean, well lit, and still has a few gems in it. Both GNC and JC Penny are my favorite stores to visit, but recently my mother and I discovered Europe Nails next to Dick's. We've been in twice together and I've gone once with a friend. The staff is friendly and does a fantastic job with their work. If you need a place for a drop in appointment for nails or a massage, this salon should be considered. read more

Please let me insist about the sheer awesome tackiness of this mall. Empty storefronts, a pizza joint and two pretzel places, and the mother of all awesome things. An arcade. An EPIC arcade. Like, I will drive myself from Baltimore up here to play here all the time. I' 10000000% serious. It's an awesome arcade with retro games, new games, pinball machines, an Atari, a Sega, and they have a Tron machine. A TRON. ATCADE. GAME. Bless this place. read more

Growing up we would make day trips to Hanover mall and to visit my grandparents who lived near by. It was a great place to eat and shop. That is not the case any longer. The mall has been steadily declining in my opinion. The only reason I even go to the mall is for the Sephora inside the Jcpenny and the occasional visit to Jerry and Sal's if I don't have them deliver. Unless it holiday season the mall is usually pretty empty so find a parking spot is a breeze. If you are looking for a mall with decent selection of stores drive a little further then this place. read more

It's not the best, flashiest, hippest mall out there. But when we come in from the fields, as the poster above seems to think we do, it's a decent place to pick up some odds an ends. Needs a drug store and another anchor department store. read more

Me and me family came in over the weekend and the security guard who we witness allowing other customers in. So we went in to wait to have pedicures done. Across the mall he yelled at us to leave and will call the cops I had my 8 year old child. The way he spoke to us in front of my kid was disgusting he should not be in any customer service. They lost roughly $150 for us three to get pedis with tips. read more

A couple years ago there were like 15 vacant spots. The new mall manager is bringing in more and more stores though, so the empty bits are only a handful. The anchors are still going strong (JCP, Burlington, Dick's, Sears) so that's good. There is also mall staples like GameStop, Spencer's, FYE, Hallmark, Bath and Bodyworks, and a bookstore. So it's not bad even if it's a bit small. There's some quirky local businesses in there too, like Fishbone Apparel comes to mind (kind of a Ocean City boardwalk store with some outdoor gear too). Definitely think it could use some more food options, but unfortunately it was built a million years ago (I overheard that it was one of the first indoor malls built) and has no food court. Pretzel places and a local pizzeria but maybe they'll get more. The deli just closed recently I think. I don't mind walking around on a lazy afternoon. It's never overly crowded, and since crowds give me anxiety, that's a win for me! read more

Ok for walking in the winter !! Not much there !! Most people go to Westminster MD Mall , Chambersburg PA Mall , Capital City Mall or order online !! Plenty of nail places , ear-piercing places , jewelry and pretzel places !! And Vitamin and cellphone shops !! Restaurants no !! Sears and all the same old shops at all malls !! Walmart is better for shopping !! We thought it would get better !! read more

Hanover old people have so much money that they saved over the last 60 years, and these people cannot and will not spend any money that costs over a dollar. You know the saying;; if it costs more than a dollar we AIN'T buying it. I know this for a FACT! These old people go to McDonald's at get a senior cawwfee and sit for 2 hours. These people have no shame or decently to keep the n. Hanover mall open. Oh yes and the reason is, they have stayed the same for the last 20 years, they or anyone else needs NEW clothes. The n Hanover mall is a very very old mall. DO SOMETHING great for YOUR area and stop by with your money and spend. Oh, there isn't anything open any more to go? Well we'll, you old people and others should have shopped and bought a very long time ago. My shopping experiences in the last 2 years has not been good. Scuzzies and meninites harrassing me. The way a mall should collect business isn't happening. They are too scared to be on the customers side of anything, Especially, when I always show there I should have especially ,since I shop there have no harrassment or problems with anything. Maybe if the weathy people bought at the n. Hanover mall, life would be no different than the old people want it. Old people go to McDonald's and get a senior cawwfee and sit on there for hours. Taking up space from others who want to sit down and eat. Remember!; If it costs more than a dollar, we AIN'T buying it. read more

The new Bird Rescue place that has opened up in the mall offers a unique experience unlike in any mall. It's a great way to get the message out there about pet birds that need help and also make it easier for people to volunteer. Living in Baltimore for a while, this mall is extremely clean and safe. I still try to shop at malls to try to keep them alive and also because it is just a cool atmosphere to be able to shop indoors and then enjoy a bite to eat. Whoever complains about this mall hasn't been to an overcrowded, unsafe, and dirty Baltimore Mall. ;) read more

Another example of a dying mall with numerous vacancies and a few remaining mish mash of stores. Two of their three remaining anchor stores (Sears & JCPenney's) are struggling to keep their doors open as we all know. "GNC" (Pricey) and "Vitamin World" (Not so pricey) compete for similar customers but at 2 different pricing tiers, as do "Burlington Coat Factory" and "Dicks". "Jerry & Sal's Pizza" is probably the only reason I come here, and they're not as consistent as they used to be. The busiest location here is the "Verizon" kiosk store. This mall's days are obviously numbered. read more
