Love this place--I always make sure I stop here when I'm home from Philly. Always find something awesome for a great price!

The space next door looks relatively new but at the same time it looks like it is one minute away from disrepair. Also, the lot in front of it is fenced off. The lot in front of this, looks like it was a complete afterthought. Completely not maintained. This location is serviced by a bus and appears to be connected to another plaza as well. However, the lot is always in chaos. Behind the store is a drop off center for donations which is constantly busy with someone either coming or going from back there. Inside, it was just as much a mess as it was outside. The size was small and the sections were disproportionate. Some areas were well organized and stocked and others were just a mess. Nothing of interest to me here. I browsed a few sections and didn't see anything worth snatching up. After a while I was back out to my vehicle to continue on my journey home with the thrift stop here or there.

If you accept this location for its strengths and not focus on the negatives you won't go in with…read morehigh expectations and leave disappointed. I sometimes have to remind myself of this as I make the long drive from Lancaster to this location which is part of my thrift store rotation. First their strengths: Biggest and best toy department of all area thrift stores. While some pieces are not perfect they have a good selection. Your best finds will most likely consist of Little People sets, plastic dollhouses, puzzles, and bigger pieces like kitchen sets. If you are looking for a cheap, functional (but not attractive) furniture piece or dresser in need of a makeover, you will find lots of items here with potential. They also have items I haven't seen elsewhere pertaining to elderly supplies; canes, walkers, etc - best selection here than anywhere. Linens are also strong since the quantity is abundant. You will need to do some sorting but will most likely walk out with what you're looking for. Although it might take a few visits. However don't expect clean isles and lots of organization. Also the location is touchy - only because the big retailer next door closed so the parking lot is scary at night. My most recent visit I was greeted by a homeless man at the front door. So my advice is if going alone go during the day. The biggest disappointment for this store is what they have the most of; clothing. I am constantly disappointed by organization, quality, and especially prices. I've seen new with tags dresses here in the $59 range only to be covered in dog hair and need pressed. You might be on the hunt for black pants and go thru an entire isle of such and think your search is over only to find two more selections with black paints. It's not unusual to find a shirt you like only to discover holes and stains. In fact it's more likely than not at this location as their sorting process is not thorough. Prices overall for clothes are higher. The dressing rooms also need improvement. One hook and a broken mirror as well as a foul smell greeted me this past Saturday. Not to mention ripped up tags and broken hangers on the floor. They could definitely work on that. So while there is flaws it's still worth a trip if you're looking for something secondhand. Maybe just don't drive from as far away as I do.

CONS: They have a limited selection of things compared to other goodwill stores. In my opinion most Goodwills are similar in organization and price with the only difference being in donation quality. I did like the quality at this location. Not because the of the brand names (which were there but not many high end brands) but because nothing I looked at was stained or excessively worn. Many of the clothing was of current fashion and organized by small, medium, and large. A row of short sleeve black tops here than more of the same a few isles over. So just when you think you went thru all the large black dress pants you find another row a few isles over. That to me doesn't make any sense but is typical Goodwill. The store itself had room for improvement and could have used a good floor cleaning. Shoes weren't in their own department but instead stored above the clothing racks in no particular order. You had to walk around the store and check every rack to shop for shoes. I didn't see any for less than $9.99 but admit their quality was really good. The dressing room was clean but only provided one hook. The ladies room was also clean with the exception of overflowing trash can. I didn't see any sales staff on the floor. Clothing pricing were mostly in the $5 range regardless of what it was. The children's department and linens were small in comparison to other stores. The housewares department was plentiful, but messy and on shelves and bins. Prices for this department was all over the place. I found smaller, cheaper artwork in the $9.97 range yet older artwork with larger, wooden ornate frames for $2.97. At the time of my visit there were more vcr videos than dvs which ranged in price from .97 to $1.97 On the hunt for a long, narrow framed print to paint over for a project I was immediately drawn to one in the bins with a lower price tag. It was obviously vintage with a custom, ornate frame but it was of the Last Supper. I didn't have the heart to buy it to paint over. During my shopping experience I kept coming in contact with a strange couple who acted like they were shopping but never picked anything up. They seemed to be following me and several times blocked me in an isle with one at one end while the other was blocking the other end. The male kept getting really close, even apologizing once for invading my personal space. While they didn't do anything to me instinctually I felt something was off and kept my purse close. Worth mentioning so you can be aware of your belongings and surroundings while you shop. While I didn't love this store and spent more than I would have elsewhere I didn't leave empty handed.
