My granddaughter & I went last night to do returns & browse the store. I was returning a duplicate gift & my granddaughter was returning salsa that had mold in it . The return went great and the clerk could not have been nicer. The problem was the lack of carts. There weren't any at the door we came in so my granddaughter went to the other entrance & there weren't any there either. People were leaving the store and going into the parking lot to find them & yes it was raining. I did want to look for 2 items, found one easily but never found the other. I'm sure we would have shopped longer had there been carts but who wants to carry everything leaving no hands to look for anything. read more

One of the employees lied right to my face. Lady wearing a Walmart shirt, using a Walmart handheld. I just wanted to ask where I could find something. I saw her, obviously and employee, and I said, "Excuse me do you work here?" Without even looking at me she said "No" and walked away. I wanted to let a manager know, but I could not find one manager. And here is another little suggestion. Hire a few people that actually speak English. I use self-checkout, because you never have enough registers open, and every single time I go to the self-checkout area there are two or three employees in there ignoring the customers completely and carrying on their own private conversations in Spanish. It's bad enough that 3/4 of your customers can't speak English, but you should at least have a few employees that do. read more

It was our walmart of choice. No more! Aisles cluttered, associates standing chatting, no interactions with customers. Stock depleted, we didn't get half the things we wanted. Store freezing. Tried to recycle cans... bin full, 1 machine out of order. Waited 10 mins for anyone after asking. 6 cashiers open. 3 slow as mud!! Got lucky young girl took us even though supposed to go on break. I took a four-day vacation this past weekend and drove down to Columbus, OH. I left Markham and needed a rest stop. I saw this Walmart while I was in Hamburg, NY and stopped by. It was my only stop in this state. There is plenty of parking. I found a decent spot and walked in. Walmart stores are structured the same way no matter where you go. I found the woman's washroom by the cashier area and went in. In my stall, there was a Samsung phone sitting there. Obviously, someone had forgotten her phone. It was locked. I was thinking of returning it to customer service, which was next door. I heard a woman saying that she had left her phone in one of the stalls. I let her know that it was still there. She sounded relieved. I came out of the stall and handed it to her. She was thankful. We chatted and all was great. I didn't buy anything while I was there, but did browse. It wasn't even American Thanksgiving, but the Christmas merchandise was alive and all out there. Wow! The sweet potato pies and peach cobbler looked delicious. My willpower kicked in for a change and I moved on. Otherwise, I would have had dessert for lunch. This store is clean and huge! Canadians are used to McDonald's being a fixture at Walmart. It's Subway here where you can get your sandwich fix. As I walked out of the store, the Walmart store greeter was having a heated exchange with a woman. He was bragging that he made decent money, which she didn't appreciate at all. She was fuming in the parking lot, and continued yelling at him, with her husband following her into the store to try and calm her down. I wasn't expecting so much drama at a Walmart. It's Walmart. You'll get what you'll expect. Probably more decent than some of the other locations but still strange. The workers are friendly but expect to be approached as if you are stealing something. I swear this happens to me regularly and I don't know why! There is usually plenty of staff to help you at any of the departments so if you ever need assistance and you can't find someone, go up to the front and they will page someone to help you. Their stock almost always seems low though so if you are looking for options, you may might not find them. read more

I came in for a Buffalo Bills shirt. I also found some really cool pairs of earrings that were really cheap. The three pack of earrings was only $1.00!!! I also found two pairs of flat dress shoes that were cheap! I used their self-checkout, which is a lot faster than most stores' self-checkouts. This is one of the cleaner, nicer WalMarts. This coupon can be a lifesaver for those who must pay for their medications out-of-pocket. It's easily accessible (simply visit their website or download the app) and typically knocks a substantial amount off the cost of a prescription. Although I still end up paying quite a bit, I save a lot of money, and GoodRX is currently the only thing sparing me from paying the full cost for my meds. I took advantage of my GoodRX discount at Walgreen's numerous times. Each time, the price I was charged far exceeded the estimated cost of the drug on the website. Still, I was paying less than full price, and beggars can't be choosers, so instead of complaining, I dug into my pockets and ponied up. However, I noticed many of the shelves weren't stocked properly and they had lots of staff stocking them at 5:30pm on a Tuesday evening, prime time. The store itself is fine but the home delivery is miserable. The last two times I ordered stuff they never showed and after waiting two hours both times, I called to find out where it was and they promised me a new driver was coming with an hour. One time, we waited 2 additional hours and shockingly the new driver never showed up either so I wound up having to call the main customer service national line to cancel the order and get my money back. Terrible service with minimal accountability from the local store. They blamed it on their third-party food delivery service each time without an apology. Our usual place for grocery shopping is Wegmans and will always be but we do come here for a few grocery products and hard goods. This store is always clean and well lit, especially when compared to other Walmart stores. Their staff, for the most part, are friendly and most helpful. As with all stores there are a few bad apples but they seem to disappear quickly as they are gone on our next visit. The stocking of the shelves is hit and miss. Some days they are neat and filled and other days are a disaster with no staff in sight to fill and arrange. Selection is impressive and varied. The only problem is their trend to replace famliar brand names with their own branded items. While they are cheaper the quality is not consistent. This store is not our last resort. After Wegmans and BJs it is a go to store for some specific items. I can only suggest that when shopping here you take your time and decide beforehand if you will settle for a generic product instead. read more

This place can be a hit or miss. I used to be the type of shopper who would need one or two things; Get in and then get the fuck out. As a new home owner, I am now there every other weekend (if not EVERY weekend) doing my grocery shopping as I am pushing a full cart of groceries and necessities. I ALWAYS stop here Friday nights. I work extremely late hours and late Fridays (8-11pm) is an ideal time for me to shop. I need to figure something something else out. The store is completely out of stock. Workers are doing their best to stock the shelf and then they get agitated when I come in their aisle to shop. I can't tell you how many things I didn't pull off the shelf because I felt like I was a nuisance for them. That is money lost. What upsets me the most is cashing out. I've had a TERRIBLE experience 2 weekends in a row where now I feel it's best for me to spend the extra few bucks at WEGMANS again. For the past 2 weekends, while cashing out, I was waiting in line for over 45 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. I do not understand why they don't have more registers open. I was getting very agitated waiting in line watching my milk go bad that an employee stated to me, "You're the last person in this line. Please let anyone who tries to come in let you know." .... da -Fuck? "That's not my job" I told her. "How about you get another bank and open another register. Having 2 on a Friday night?" I questioned. "We're short of staff, but there is always the self checkout you can use." She stated. "Do I get an employee discount for doing your job?" I asked. I should of gotten a courtesy discount for waiting that long. I know it may seem that I am over reacting on this matter, but after you waited 45 minutes to be cashed out and then the cash register breaks while putting your shit on the belt, you'd be upset to. This Walmart is one of the better Walmarts that I go to. They have pretty much everything you need. Their automotive section is very well stacked also. When we go grocery shopping here when save a lot or Aldi's doesn't have what we need or we want to get the brand name of the items we are looking for. This Walmart will have it. I'm not sure if this Walmart is classified as a super Walmart but they do have grocery and a tire / oil change place. The checkout lines here are very fast and they try to open more registers when they see long lines. Parking isn't so bad, even during peak time. The Walmart also feels cleaner than the others I have been to. The employees here can be a nicer and friendly but normally when I come here, I'm in and out. Sometimes there is just too much people here. Over all, I like this Walmart and will be coming back to do my shopping when my other go to stores do not have what I'm looking for. read more

I work in a hospital - severe dry skin is a constant battle, especially in winter. I stopped in to get a lotion recommended by the medical staff where I work. Wal-Mart is one of the few places that carry it locally, but they didn't have their advertised package sizes - only tiny and huge. I do my best to avoid Wal-Mart. I am very annoyed with Walmart. I have shopped here in the past and found their refrigerated and frozen products to be reasonably priced. Not cheap, just within my price tolerance point. Produce and meats, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Walmart is one of the stores that allows you to buy online and pick up in store. Often it's the same day. I recently subscribed to Stumptown coffees, which ships whole bean product, and found that I needed to purchase a coffee grinder to replace the "oh so many" that I've tossed out over the past few years. Online purchase went fine. I have been receiving emails on a regular basis telling me that my grinder will only be held until this weekend and to pick it up soon. Arrived at the pick up desk this am and was told that only hubby or my daughter were allowed to pick up this purchase. To make a long story short, it was a battle of wills. I indicated that I would let this purchase expire and just get a new one off of the shelf. A lovely young lady assisted me with my Walmart account on my 'phone to "allow" me to have what was/is rightfully mine. Whatever. I'll stick to Amazon in the future. read more

Grocery pickup began about three months ago but it needs much improvement. Automotive service department is horrible. Plan on a 3 hour wait every time. This is my third time here and last. Put tires on the back instead of the front. If they took two seconds to do a visual tech inspection they would have noticed the front tires were completely bald and the back tires were actually good. Unbelievable. My Favorite Walmart!!!!! I was always the one who said Walmart is the most Ghettoest retail store in the world, NOT THIS ONE!!!!!!! customer service was great they actually great you !!! They ask if you found everything alright, they joke around with you, and the lady that was at self check out on 3-3-18 at 5:04 pm was amazing!! If you need help they will help you if they don't know they will find someone who does. I use to manage retail and this is great management, the store is clean I love this Walmart !!!!!
