I visited this Walmart to use their bathrooms during my roadtrip. Don't be fooled by the toilet you encounter when you first enter the store. One of the worst Walmarts I've been to. I come here for new video game and electronic releases, which they largely advertise release dates for. They never EVER have these new releases ready on release date as advertised, despite their online stock saying items are on the floor and ready for purchase. Staff are always rude and resort to "I don't know haven't seen it" rather than actually offering assistance. Doesn't surprise me as their staff in the electronics department fail to carry themselves with any crumb of customer service skill. read more

I spent one night here and it's great that this Walmart supports RVers overnighting here. I was parked over by the Lawn & Garden area from about 10pm until 6am. It was quiet enough and I was undisturbed. Before closing down for the night, I popped into the Walmart to use the restroom and do some shopping. The restroom was in terrible condition. Dirty and unclean. Icky. After seeing the condition of the stall, I turned and left. I didn't even enter the rest of the store, it was that bad. GEORGETOWN DE WALMART IS NOW MY GO-TO STOP FOR MY SHOPPING NEEDS! I live 2 towns away, but I'm willing to pay the extra $ in gas for the PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE that I have NEVER gotten from other area WALMARTs I've paid visits to! HUGE AMAZING SHOUT OUTS TO 2 AMAZING EMPLOYEES: JAIMERE & ALYSSA!!!! These 2 young amazing adults gave me OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE yesterday during my impromptu stop to Walmart! I was in a desperate situation: I accidentally broke my cellphone, in an unfamiliar town while heading to a medical appointment, with limited funds on me, and my fiance was out of town working over 3 hours away! Panicked, JAIMERE & ALYSSA CAME TO MY RESCUE WITHOUT FAIL! They helped me find a phone that I could afford WITH ACCESSORIES, ACTIVATED THE PHONE AS WELL AS PUT THE PROTECTIVE ACCESSORIES ON THE PHONE FOR ME TO ENSURE I WOULDNT BE AT RISK TO BREAK MY NEW PHONE WHILE MY FIANCE WAS AWAY! AND I GOT TO MY APPT ON TIME!! I can't say enough THANK YOUs to them for how they cared for me not only as a customer but as a person in need!! I am very disappointed with Walmart's decision to cave in to pressure and reduce their DEI programs I have always supported Walmart due to their competitive prices, but sadly, I will no longer shop there. Walmart has shown their bottom line profit margin is more important than their employees. Walmart has made the decision to turn their backs on progress and I have made the decision to turn my back on Walmart. Received a text this morning that prescriptions were available for pick up. Drove several miles to the store only to find that the pharmacy was closed as there was no pharmacist on duty. This is the third time in as many months that this has occurred. If your store cannot staff a pharmacy, maybe you should not try to operate one. read more

This is my personal Walmart and it's starting to fall apart. It's getting dirty, the floor was covered in weeks worth of dust. Shelves are getting disorganized, lots of missing items, staff avoids you or will ignore you. Carts are everywhere in the parking lot, trash cans are overflowing in the parking lot, broken glass has been there for weeks now. The bathroom smelled like a kennel at the dog pound, that old rotten sticky pee smell. A worker was on a video call on her phone for 20+ minutes, when I asked if they had something she said "Use the app, it's really easy." And went back to her phone call. There was a package of literally grey bacon because it was so old. There is a bigger worker there that always has his hairy buttcrack showing, at least 5 inches of crack. The fruit, veg, delis sections always seems taken care of, so good on them. A lot of the workers seem broken and dead inside lately, no hellos, no eye contact, no smiles, no small talk... I hope someone sees this at corporate and makes things right. read more
