Still not a word of acknowledgment from anyone behind the counter. Eventually, the gentleman begin the counter asked me if I was picking up an order. I responded that I was not picking up; rather, I had been standing at the counter to place an order. That's when Deja said "the line usually forms that way". What Deja should have said was, "my apologies - I didn't see you, please let Me take your order now". This displayed a lack of customer service skills, which can be corrected through intensive training. However, most disturbingly, Deja also exposed herself to be unprofessional, immature and rude by responding to me by screwing up her face, making faces, rolling her eyes, smirking and giggling. You can get baked goods, produce, bottled and jarred items like pickes, candy, meats, and "homemade" deli items. There were plants for purchase, some outdoor furniture, and a cafe. The best part of the place ended up being the animals. We fed some goats and took a phot with the large bull statue. I think this would be a great place to bring kids to see the animals. I don't think it's worth the drive if you're staying on the coast because it's mostly grocery store quality produce and items you can get for less elsewhere. But, if you need something to do with kids and you're close by, it's worth a stop.
