    Walmart

I bought a lamp there and I plugged it in and it went on fire. I was walking around and one of there staff farted in my face

Bought a pack of 84 count diapers, got them home and this is what we found. Half the diapers gone! What a joke Walmart. This is a new one!

As a newer Walmart, compared to some stores in the region, it's clean and organized (though they do move things around frequently, so sometimes need to remap your brain if you haven't been in for awhile). They've really improved the quality of the produce in the last couple years. Used to be horrible, over ripe/rotting stuff. Some prices, especially in the dairy department, you have to watch. They're not the best deal in town. They had been doing a good job at one point of increasing the number of organic/natural (whatever your definition of that term may be) products. Guess they weren't selling, because harder to find these days. The cash registers frequently have lines, and people shifting from one to another looking for shorter lines, because they never seem to have enough staff on. Considerably longer wait today with all the back-to-school supply shoppers. You just accept there will be a wait and hope you get a cashier who isn't in training. ;) As another reviewer has experienced, we've had an issue with the auto shop too. Usually they've been great and we get all the oil changes done if my husband is short on time to do it himself, and tire rotations/mountings. But a month ago they managed to scratch five brand new 20" chrome rims putting tires on. The first tech who made the mistake was mortified and couldn't apologize enough. Young guy. We understood, things happen and they would pay for the replacement. We were assured the money would not be deducted from the young man's pay. Manager said they'd give the job to the senior tire guy. He ruined three more, plus a spare, and couldn't have cared less. Pretty appalling attitude. He said they'd send them out for polishing. Not with gouges as deep as they were, all in the same place. Apparently an issue with the machine. So why didn't they stop? Manager apologized and said a claim would be filed with their insurance company. We've been getting the run around from them, so that issue is still pending. My purpose today was to get a prescription for my dog. Since a fairly inexpensive pain killer that used to be dispensed by my vet was reclassified as a controlled substance this week by the DEA, it now has to be filled at a pharmacy. And the price has skyrocketed. We get most of his prescriptions (except the compounded one) at CVS and a good price break with AAA discount. Turns out CVS charges $90 for a one month supply of this pain med, with AAA discount or price would be $150. Did some price comparisons and found a discount coupon from a website that brought the price down to $19 at Walmart. So I had the script called in. Went to pick up to find they won't accept that discount coupon, nor AAA, on any pet prescriptions. Charming. However, it was only $43 in comparison to CVS. Still almost double what the vet used to charge.

Rinse and repeat, page after page. I finally placed my online order, getting 30% off for Cyber Week promotion, 8% cash back on Retail Me Not and a 40% off offer on mix & match Neutrogena products + a hairdryer. In-Store: I waited for text confirmation but when I got to the store, they couldn't load their site nor had they received my order. They couldn't give me the same promotional discounts but I did get a double side-serving of smug indifference (thanks Brittany). Thank goodness for assistant store manager Wesley: I discovered later that I'd left my credit card behind and he was genuinely helpful when I called then stopped in to pick it up. Wesley said, "It's always nice when you have the opportunity to help people." Awww. Wesley gets 5 stars & bumps up the overall experience to an average 3-star rating. Walgreen's Corporate Office: Promote Wesley to regional manager and give the man a raise.

This CVS is one of my old stomping grounds as I worked as a pharmacy technician back in my twenties…read moreso I'm 100% a CVS customer!! I came in here the other day to get my 2nd shingles vaccine as I got my 1st one @ a CVS back in Las Vegas & knew that they would have a record of this because I wasn't sure of the exact date of when I did get my 1st shingles shot. The lady @ the pharmacy counter was very nice & was able to pull me up by my name & DOB. I had to update my insurance info as my plan changed the first of the new year. It was very busy when I stopped in here on a Thursday afternoon around 4pm. I didn't schedule an appointment for my vaccine as I was having trouble connecting to the CVS app. I tell ya the Verizon cell phone service in this area isn't the best. I was able to get my vaccine as a walk in even though it was busy. Jaime the pharmacist was the one who gave me my shingles shot. He was very friendly & nice to chat with. He gave me my shot without any issues (yes, the shingles vaccine does hurt! As I tell patient's "its not the needle that hurts its the medicine) & I had told him how I use to work here in my 20's. The pharmacy has grown as I counted probable about 5-6 people behind the counter. The store has even grown too. I have found that it has gotten more crowded with aisles/products, as if they put more in this store. There isn't much room to move down an aisle if there is someone else in it too. I did get my coupons from their coupon machine & did some shopping based on what coupons I had. I do find CVS to be more expensive than Walmart but with the coupons it helped by lowering the prices of some of the items that I wanted to buy. I did go to the self checkout (which I hate) & did have some problems with scanning my items but one of the employees came over right away & helped me fix the issues. I do find that it can be a pain in getting out of if you park on the smaller parking lot side so I went home the back way then trying to fit to get back out on islington street.

The store is old, unorganized, in lines to the pharmacy almost out the door. Also, the management is not at all customer service oriented. Let me make this *VERY CLEAR* Yes, in New Hampshire, a pharmacy can fax a prescription to a doctor's office. This is a common and accepted practice for various reasons, such as clarifying prescription details, requesting refills, or transferring prescriptions. Here's a more detailed explanation: Common Practice: Faxing prescriptions is a standard method for communication between pharmacies and prescribers in New Hampshire. Reasons for Faxing: Pharmacies may fax prescriptions to: Clarify prescription details with the prescriber. Request a refill authorization. Transfer a prescription from one pharmacy to another. Electronic Prescribing: While electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) is becoming more prevalent, faxing remains a valid method, particularly for controlled substances or in situations where electronic systems are not available. DEA Regulations: The DEA requires computer-generated prescriptions, including those transmitted by fax, to be manually signed by the prescriber. Original Prescription: For Schedule II controlled substances, the pharmacy must still receive the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication. Confidentiality: Faxing prescriptions requires maintaining patient confidentiality, which is a crucial aspect of pharmacy practice THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO REQUESTING THE PRESCRIPTION. If you are requesting the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication this is not a crime, nor a reason to harass, belittle, or gaslight your customers. It's almost like some of your pharmacists might be dipping into your Adderall stockpiles.
