If they could get any lazier I would be surprised. Found 2 things I wanted online. Couldn't find either one. Pressed for help on tablet at end of aisle. Someone will be right there to help you. Waited 10 minutes no one came. Associates walked by no one asked do you need help? Workers standing around talking. Went to the Somersworth store was looking around associate asked do you need help? Yes I do. In and out in a couple minutes. The difference between a well run store and a poorly managed one. When management doesn't care it shows. I'll stay with Somersworth, thank you. read more

Three of us came here on a Thursday evening about an hour before closing. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the store was and how well stocked it was at that point in the day (night). Beyond that, it was pretty much as expected, with a large, convenient parking lot. read more

Went in looking for the Apple Air tag. Showed online but they were not on the sales floor. So I broke the guy code and asked for help. Steph. Was relentless in helping me. She opened case after case of inventory . Steph spent a good 20 minutes and was not showing any signs of giving up. On a day when they were still offloading a tractor trailer Steph found the needle in the haystack. The entire time being personal and pleasant. For the record I love my new Air Tag! I Really love to shop here. It's great place to shop at. Very clean and neat. They only thing I Don't like is that, sometimes there are only two registers open ? :((. But it's a really Good place to shop at. Plenty of Space inside to shop around, especially now too. Not all of people are shopping with this Virus going on. But there is more than enough space in Target to shop. There's some isles that are very Big. Could fit a lot of people in some of the Really big Isles. I really like to walk around here, if I had a lot more money. I would be here a lot more Often. One of my favorite places to shop at. Very relaxed and fun Atmosphere here. If I was running this Store, I would have some More Registers open. So its not a big wait for shoppers to be done and checked out. And they Shoppers, would have Happy with that too. And I really like that they Have Starbucks inside the Store read more

Firstly, (the reason I am even writing this review in the first place), I would like to shoutout the Target employee, who helped me very thoroughly, by the name of Tre. A couple of weeks ago, I had gone into this Target location because I was having trouble with my receipt being recognised by the Target app/website since the receipt hadn't printed properly from my trip prior. After speaking to multiple online associates, I had no choice but to go back to the store in person to try to sort the problem out. The first employee I spoke to did not try to remedy the situation at all; she didn't bother to even try. I returned later the same day and spoke to Tre who went out of his way to help resolve the situation for me. His effort was very much appreciated (especially after the discouraging and lacklustre performance of his colleague). Thank you, Tre! Aside from that, this Target is very well stocked and satisfying to shop in. I have been able to purchase items here that I have never seen in any other Target location before. As a frequent Target customer, this location gets a thumbs up from me! read more

I needed help with my order that got destroyed by the carrier for an online-order. Re-shipped by the carrier. However the majority of items were broken or not in the carrier re-taped box. Without hesitation the manager at the Service desk helped me resolve the situation. The replaced items selected were immediately available with the prices I paid for them. Very happy. read more

I love this store. Everyone is so helpful and polite. The customer service is top notch. Selection is great and stock is consistant when Covid is not a problem. read more

Great Customer Service at this Target -- no surprise! I mistakenly bought wrong size item and somehow must have double-scanned it because $39.99 was charged twice. Customer Service fixed it all up quickly and with no hassle. Got the correct sized item and my 39.99 credit! Great service from courteous, professional and friendly Target workers. read more

Second time that online order was incomplete/products not available after order. :( Otherwise. It's a clean well kept store with friendly and helpful employees Just wish they could get their online inventory system to be more accurate. read more

I can always find what I want and team members are polite and helpful. I always check prices using my Target app which makes it easy to scan the UPC codes. Target will match these online prices at checkout and I often save a lot of money. Cashiers are polite and helpful about adjusting the prices. read more

I am SO over coming into this Target location and seeing boxes upon boxes stacked in the aisles. It literally prevented me from getting merchandise I needed. And it's a HUGE safety hazard! Most of them are unattended. Can you imagine a child bumping into one these stacks and getting buried?!!! I can't think of any retail store that I have ever been to that's managed this way. read more

I've been living inside this target for 4 months. No one has noticed. Great selection of goods and places to hide.

WTH is wrong with people reviews here? Seriously getting that emo over Target colors or lack of CSR?!?!? Hahahahahaga my lord This place rocks....the people are super friendly...what the hell do you want them to do? Wipe your arse? This is an amazing store and company! I have loved this place ever since they came to town. SHOCKED at how critical people are on yelp. read more

This Target store needs a corporate intervention. . Every time I shop here the prices on the shelves are less than what rings at the register. Every single time. It's maybe $2 or $3 and for most people who are in a rush and don't take the time to pay attention to their receipts or have the time to plea their cases with customer service are being taken advantage of. This is stealing from the customers. I called Elizabeth Orr who is the store manager. Now I understand why things are the way they are at Greenland Target. Elizabeth "Liz" Orr spoke in a tone that lacked any care and was totally condescending. She was rushing me off the phone from the moment I started talking...dismissing my claims of inaccuracies and was quick to respond with bad excuses and bad customer service. I actually sent pictures of the shelves and my receipt and emailed them to her. There was no urgent response from Liz. She is obviously overwhelmed with her general manager assignment. When I did receive a response from Liz Orr, she structured a corporate style form letter and seemed to blame some corporate pricing division. No personal note. Not one iota of care. There is absolutely no surprise to me why Greenland Target has such horrible reviews. It starts with Liz Orr, the general manager. I'm not sure how she even has a job. She is terrible at it. read more

Lackluster. I usually love Target. But this location just doesn't have the same zing that I get from most of the Targets I've ever been in. To me, Target is usually lively, fun and modern feeling. This Target seems sad for some reason. I find the store to be somewhat disorderly and messy with apathetic to borderline rude customer service. Like I said I am a big fan of Target but I find myself not very excited to go here. I haven't been going as frequently as I am known to and I was even beginning to question my devotion to Target. After visiting the Somersworth and South Portland locations, I now see it had nothing to do with my fave big box retailer, it was just this location. If you live in the seacoast, just go to Somersworth. read more

ABSOLUTELY the worst customer service, ever! My boyfriend was looking at sweatshirts in the men's department while a manager was about 15 feet away hanging up clothing. At one point, he draped one of the sweatshirts over the rack to look at a different size and compare the two. The manager, Deb, walks over and asks him if he is done with the first sweatshirt. He said he was deciding between the two, at which she replied, "Well we don't like to drape things over the racks here." He then leaves the men's department and we meet up, then go back to the men's department to pick out a sweatshirt. Deb is still there, hovering, while he and I pick our a color. As he is trying to put one back on the hanger, he turns to her and says he can't find one. She nastily replies that it's on the floor. The rack he got the sweatshirt from was over filled and he has a hard time putting it back. She then stomps over and says, "Do you need me to take care of that for you?" My boyfriend is upset with her tone and tells her that he is just trying to purchase goods from a store...which surprisingly enough...sells goods. He decides not to get a sweatshirt based on her behavior and we move to another section of the store. We are in the health and beauty area and half way down the store I can hear Deb the manager talking loudly to another employee about my boyfriend and the interaction that just occurred. We stand clearly in the main aisle so she can see us and I loudly say, "I believe she's talking about you" and look directly at her. As we are checking out, we ask the cashier who the managers are. Deb walks by at that time and we ask if she is one of them. The girl says she "thinks" so and isn't too sure of her name. We ask again if there is anyone besides Deb that we can speak to and the girl doesn't even answer us. We contacted Target to let them know about this ordeal and the only reply was that they apologize for this as this is not how a manager at Target should behave. BEWARE of Deb!!!!!! She's a nasty, nasty person who obviously encourages the same in her employees. WORST shopping experience at Target..and I kind of heart Target. read more

Terrible place. Not only do I hate being in big chain stores, but the color scheme in Target really "angers up the blood", and the lights (eventually) make one dizzy. However, my latest issue with this place is their lack of customer care. They have an (over the ear) earphone display, with music playing, and four pair of earphones set up to try out. As someone who suffers from tinnitus, as a result of loud concerts past, I am always careful about volume levels. Before I picked up one of the earphones, I held them near my ear and listened- hearing them playing at a very low level, I put them on. They were almost at their lowest setting, so I then pushed the "volume up" button one time. At which point, the volume went to full blast- far, far beyond the pain threshold. Fine, it's broken. It happens. My ears will ring for several days, but, really, no hard feelings (much). It was when I told a manager, who sent an employee over, who then told me, "Someone will take a look tomorrow", that I knew they didn't give a damn about what is, essentially, a safety issue. Not exactly great customer relations and messaging. Nor is making us wait 5 minutes for an employee with a key to buy a pair of $5 earbuds. I doubt I'll shop here again. read more

I admit it, I tend toward the small businesses and unique shops in the area, but I will still take a pilgrimage every few weeks to Target. And, it's much easier now that there's a new one so close to Portsmouth (in fact, I thought it was in Portsmouth til I looked up its address). This is the first ever Target with a fresh foods section, so you can do all of your grocery shopping if you so choose. the prices on groceries were excellent. The selection tends toward the more mainstream. The coolest feature isn't the food itself, but the fridge/freezer section with its motion-sensor lights (which I'll assume are more energy efficient than leaving lights on all the time). It's clean and bright and shiny and new. It has Starbucks and a little bit of everything else, and it's nice to have it close to home, but still far enough removed to not take away from the charm of the smaller businesses in Portsmouth proper. read more

This is the worst Target ever. Unshelved merchandise/boxes all over the place ALL THE TIME!!!! Shelves are not stocked. Was trying to buy some books for my son and I could not get into the aisles. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Every single time I go here I leave with nothing. Boxes are ALWAYS blocking aisles I need to get to and the clothes are always a mess so you can't find your size. They are always putting stuff on shelves during open hours so you can never get to where you need to go. Clearly they need better management. Worst target ever, which is a shame because I live so close by. read more

Liz Orr-the store manager is the absolute worst. Her attitude is pathetic. Her store is a mess. The prices on the shelves often do not match the prices at the register and they are stealing from their customers as a result. I contacted Minnesota to share the issues and suggest an audit, but it fell on deaf ears. Wal*Mart in Portsmouth or Newington are better choices. read more

I have read the past reviews and I have to say my experience was nothing like these negative comments. I was looking for a particular type of toy couldn't find it a young man asked id he could help and could not have been more helpful. I was impressed there were a number of clerks through out the store, as opposed to shopping at Walmart where I walked all the way to the far corner to find toys poor selection and no one to help. I don't shop at Target very often but will try it again. read more

Went to this Target to buy some patio chairs that were advertised. Found what I wanted and asked a nearby associate for help. She put down what she was doing, found a truck and pushed them out to my car for me- with a smile! When I was unable to fit them in my car, she pushed them back into customer service to see what we could do.(I'd already bought them). She was so capable and said she was a fairly new associate (named Joni). Then, the girl who helped me at Customer Service (named Sharlene) promptly handled the return and even looked up whether I could buy smaller chairs online to be picked up in store. When I left, I felt really taken care of! read more

Crazy experience at the Greenland store tonight that totally turned me off from future online shopping through Target. The Customer service "manager" Madison would not let me pick up two candles I had ordered online (for a total of $29.00) as I did not have a government sponsored ID. My husband had driven me 15 miles to get there and I did have 6 forms of other ID including the credit card I used for the purchase, my business cards as well as my e-receipt but I had misplaced my license. I had to ask for the highest ranking manager on site in order to get my hostage candles released. Kind of bizarre that there wouldn't be basic judgment calls built into their training if this was really a a manager behind the counter. read more

Samantha L. echoed my sentiments EXACTLY!!! Why is the manager not addressing any of these reviews?? The Regional Office needs to get involved. I have never seen such a mismanaged store. This store has some serious management issues. I was shopping for baby shower gifts and wanted to buy a book to read to the baby. Books are in the back section of the store. That section of the store is virtually impossible to navigate through because all of the aisles are blocked by huge pallets of goods. I literally could not get to the items I wanted to shop for because my path was blocked. When I commented on it to one of the workers there she said there was no room for the palettes anywhere else and walked off. When I went to checkout I was behind a women with a lot of groceries and coupons. No problem with that, but the cashier must be part turtle given how slowly she moved scanning the items. When it was my turn to check out she asked me "did you have a nice rest?" which I presume was in reference to the lengthy wa it I endured while she scanned the previous customer's groceries. Next she started repeatedly hollering across the store to another cashier "are you getting those lobsters stoned? If so, I want some". What???? Hey, I could not care less what she does in her private life but that is extraordinarily inappropriate behavior on the job. read more

I am so disappointed with the customer service at Target. We received a patio set for a wedding shower gift from our bridesmaids. The first set showed up and 4 out of the 6 chairs were dented and scratched. We applied for a return and replacement, however, the replacement showed up even more badly damaged and in distress. When I contacted target, we were told there wasn't much they could do. They could send a new replacement, give us a $150 gift card to keep the chairs or give us a refund. I don't think any of those options were good enough. I'm an avid Target shopper and go to them for almost everything. It was very sad to me that they made no extra attempt to give us any sort of help, seeing that the item was from online and would always have to be shipped. I will not be shopping for any big items at Target again and won't be advising anyone to shop their either. read more
