If there's one thing I can tell you my Mom is that she loves Walmart. We were in Kentucky visiting my niece and after checking into our Airbnb we headed straight to the local Walmart. She knows the aisles and where to find everything so that's why she wants to come here. Of course it was packed because it's during the holiday season. But we did ask the employee to help us locate a few items and they were very helpful. Some items they did not have were were hair products that I needed. But overall this is a good one. I've been to some where the isles were empty and these shells were completely stocked. read more

Super-center located close to everything. Store can be very busy at times. There is a pick up center at the end of the building. The parking over there usually has a little more shade. I've gotten several plants and trees from the garden department. A couple of them rang up super cheap! 0.03 cents! We've never had any issues finding our items. Except for block feta cheese. Where do I start. This Walmart has gone downhill and FAST. The restrooms. In the men's restrooms more than half the stalls/urinals/sinks are broken. They are dirty and the kind of dirty that has been poorly cleaned. The floors seem dirtier than usual. They cannot keep up with restock. Almost like there is not a late night crew. I am constantly having to navigate around pallets and employees with their arms full of inventory. This past summer when the college kids were working. One Male was literally wearing daisy duke shorty shorts. His ass was hanging out of them On multiple occasions, I have unfortunately run into employees who obviously haven't bathed. They also have completely quit sanitizing anything, even the carts. However, they are checking receipts again. read more

Walmart is one of the local things to do. Since its a place for people to meet up. It's busy even on a Friday night. Walmartians can be found here too. Last visit I came here to pick up plants beer ice and grill parts to repair a leaking diaphragm.... It could have been a gassy situation with fiery consequences. Staff here are always friendly. I'm not sure why but every time I come here it always looks like the stocking is always behind. Pallets stacks of product. In almost every department. So if you need a job I'm sure they are looking. I order 12 packs of cat food as I just happened to find them on line and the store had been previously out of them. The only way to pick them up was from curbside pickup. I went the next day. As I walked around the store today an employee approached my husband and I and stated that we both had to have shopping carts and it was only one person allowed per household due to COVID19. That's perfectly fine by me however when there are multiple white couples walking around while rubbing arms and coughing not also being approached is a problem. This is my third time at this store. The first time I was in my military uniform and wasn't bothered. The last two times while wearing regular clothes I have experienced racism. I will not return to this location again and I will be filling a formal complaint. read more

They gave my $133 curbside order away to someone else. I had gone to the wrong Walmart by mistake and as soon as I realized this I attempted to cancel the order but by then it was too late. They had already given it to someone else and they have not responded to any of my emails. No refund given. Probably an employee who realized what was happening took my order home and marked it as picked up. Have done 90% of my grocery shopping at Kroger ever since. If you make the same mistake be sure to CALL IMMEDIATELY, don't try to cancel online. But even then you will probably be out of luck with this Walmart. read more

I legit hate shopping at this store. Do yourself a favor and go the few miles down the road to the Walmart in Radcliffe. They never have anything stocked. Things are in random places like bacon with milk instead of with meat. Yogurt is expired sometimes by weeks. Nearly all registers are self checkout. BEWARE, BEWARE. This isn't the only one. When you start your checkout process, keep track of the prices being rung up. The shelf prices are not matching the charged cost at checkout. I have caught this several times on several types of items in several locations of Walmart stores. If you have a picture of the cost they'll correct it for your checkout. Here I am 10 mins looking for baby Orajel and I ask the associate an aisle over where I could find it because I was thinking maybe it's not with the baby stuff or the other Orajel then she informs me that WalMart doesn't carry Orajel anymore. The worst Walmart in Hardin county. All but about 4 registers are self serve. I needed an age restricted item approved. I tried to call the "attendant" over and she just held up her finger to tell us to wait while she stared at her hand held devise. After a few minutes she finally comes over and tells us that it wouldn't tell her what it was. If that's the case why didn't she come over sooner amd ask us instead if just standing there staring at that thing? We didn't know what she was doing. I just assumed she was ignoring us. If an 0/5 was an option I would give it. I went to the Elizabethtown KY Walmart on 02/02 to do an pickup order. To be blunt everyone in the Pickup Department should be fired. Especially the MANGER on duty. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me. I checked in at 9:00 PM with Pickup closing at 10 PM EST. It was 9:15 PM Before an Pickup spot was even open. No one came up to my car ONCE. I was trying to be patient and knew we had an Ice Storm coming and they were slammed. When I lost it was when for the SECOND time at this Walmart the workers left exactly at 10 and said nothing to no one. 16 other cars were sitting out there besides me. So, myself and 2 complete strangers went in and asked for an manger around 10:15 PM. Thank you to Mark and Mary we were able to get our pick up orders but, each person had to come in to do that and get their order. I ended up going in and getting strangers orders per the other Walmart workers advised the Managers helping us that "This was not their problem". per the people I helped were elderly and had been sitting there for 2+ hours already just trying to be patient. EVERYONE I talked to had waited an minimum of an hour and some had been there for almost three by the time it was all said and done. I am very thankful for the third shift mangers that helped us but, this is unacceptable. The way this happened twice to me is unreal. Each time is getting worse. I understand the world is short staffed but, this is outrageous. I wrote an complaint to corporate and I got an call today from an store manger. This manger could not of been less caring or empathetic. Nothing was done. I was told NO manger was overseeing the minors that "have to go home by 10 PM and that's why they just left". I understand that there are rules and the teens shouldn't of stayed some adults should of. I was also told there was no manger overseeing the workers in this department to help. Really seems crazy that an Walmart would not have an manger over an bunch of minors? I could go on and on about how poorly this was handled but, moral of the story. Unlike most of the Wal-Marts Supercenters in Louisville this one really can claim the term "Super" it was the most well stocked Wal-mart that I have ever stepped foot in. Plus it was very unusual ... you can actually find people to help you here if you need help... I was even more shocked when employees were walking up to me asking if I found everything. My experience tonight at this wal- mart was shitty to say the least. When we went in they were starting to wax the floors in one area. I navigated around the grocery side only to realize there were pallets everywhere from working the truck. Almost every isle was blocked in some way. I would think this is a safety hazard. I finally get to the register to check out with two items, the self checkouts were all closed except one and there were 5 cashiers standing around, but only one in a check lane. The registers all went down at the same time due to an update so I left my things and went to another store. read more

This is your typical Wal-Mart Superstore. Nothing glorious or special. The store is usually clean and the grocery is usually well stocked. The bathrooms are always a bio-hazard and I would always suggest cleaning the handles of any shopping cart you use. You will always have a long wait to check out. Sorry this is so long. I would give them a zero if I could. Like many Walmart stores they constantly have empty holes on the shelves. Most of the people working there know absolutely nothing about the products or their location in the store and worse don't seem to care. I have had multiple problems at this store but after yesterday I have decided to try shopping at Kroger. I am willing to pay a little more for less hassle and stocked shelves. The incident that broke the camel's back was, my husband and I were in line behind an elderly lady with quite a few coupons (Maybe 30). The cashier seemed annoyed by the coupons and was moving very slowly. The elderly lady pointed out that some of the coupons didn't process, the cashier sighed but did go back thru them. Then we get to the last coupon. It rang up as expired even though it had a date 2 months in the future. (I am cutting the story down because you don't have time for a mini novel). Two other cashiers did try to help our cashier push it thru but no luck . Our cashier at this point has already pushed the button to call a "manager" 3 separate times because this has gone on so long. The elderly lady in a wheelchair has even sent her son to "find one of those people in a yellow vest" . No luck. One of the other cashiers tells ours that she will have to wait for a manager. Ours says I already called multiple times. The other one who appears to be some sort of floater for breaks etc. Says "well they are ALL in a meeting , they will get it on their handheld". Here's where it hits the fan, for me. We are 15 minutes into trying to process these coupons. We have 80% on our stuff already out of the cart and on the belt. (So trapped until this resolves unless we walk away or load it all back in the cart ). I don't have a lot of patience for bull crap and the fact that there are no managers available is just plain stupid. I would normally have complained much sooner but since I was with my husband I let this drag on ( he is uncomfortable when I lose my patience with people). So I cut into the conversation and explain that there is $500 dollars worth of groceries between the elderly lady and myself that is being held up over a $3 coupon and that we are at the 15 minute mark on this so they need a manager now. ( I said more but you get the idea).The floater leaves and comes back with a "yellow vest" lady in less than 60 seconds...imagine that. Then yellow vest resolves the coupon issue in less than 30 seconds. No sorry for the wait or hassle but it does get done. So is it convenient to buy pot roast in the same place you buy tire cleaner, yes. Is it easier ? I am not so sure. When I was a kid the grocery store only had groceries. I think I will buy food at Kroger and all that other stuff somewhere else. I just need a store to actually care about customer service ......just a little bit. Will Walmart miss my $900 a month, I doubt it. But I won't miss the hassle either. read more

She applied for job there but still doing cashier. No double bagging on heavy items. Wouldn't even turn turnstile for bags. Had to do it ourselves. This is the worst Walmart in history. I am a disabled veteran and have never been more embarrassed,or humiliated then I was today in the Elizabethtown KY Walmart. Due to the long checkout lines, I ended up going to the self checkout which was being monitored by an associate wearing a yellow vest. After scanning my 3rd item and placing it in the bag, the yellow vest wearing associate approached me and informed me that I had placed 2 packages of hamburger meat in the bag and that I had only scanned 1 of the packages, and that this was observed on camera. . I explained to the woman in the yellow vest that I most certainly had scanned both packages. At this point she brought up the screen and said look right here only 1 package of hamburger meat was scanned along with a ham. I explained that I did not have any ham, and as she was pulling the scanned items from the bag she kept asking me what I did with the ham because I was on camera. I explained to her that I had no ham, and that I couldn't see the screen because I have vision difficulties to which she rudely replied that I needed a pair of bifocals glasses. During course of my experience she stood in front of my mobility scooter blocking my access to the exit. I was reminded 4 times that I was on camera, and yet when I questioned seeing the camera coverage I was told that it would be a while for her to get a manager and then she didn't even know if I would be allowed to view the camera coverage. I also was informed to make sure that I made sure that I hit the proper quantity of green peppers that I had. I also was asked 3 different times what I had done with the (invisible)ham. read more

The Walmart Bakery staff is the best! Stephanie made a beautiful pastry tray for an open house we were hosting, and made sure it was ready to pick up at 8 in the morning. She did a fantastic job and was so helpful when I ordered it. She even brought out the produce manager to talk to me about fruit trays - and he was incredibly helpful as well. I have been here every few days for almost a year now and I am completely dissatisfied with their fruit veggies selection but as for staff and helpfullness it has been well each time. I really dislike the fact one day they will have their stock filled and than two days later they will be missing everything I need. The norm for this location is a "disappointing" shopping experience. When there is a problem, it's like pulling teeth to get anyone to help. There is an extreme lack of initiative when it comes to customer service. I've had a manager refuse to deal with a problem and when I called the corporate customer service line, they seemed genuinely concerned. When a manager finally contacted me, the problem didn't get resolved permanently. The managers don't seem to want to fix anything. They make excuses and don't give reassurances that a problem will get the attention it deserves. The only reason that they get my grocery business is because they have a water refill machine. When the machine is down, they don't follow up with the repair people. It can take a week or more to get it fixed. One manager said that if I wasn't happy with the machine being broken, he would just get rid of it. What a lazy manager and a poor example of customer service. Another problem is that they are often out of stock of something that I buy on a weekly basis. I have worked in customer service for many years as a business owner and as an employee. No place I've worked or owned would tolerate the kind of lackluster customer service and employee performance that I encounter at this Walmart store. read more
