Shonda, the associate working the return desk, looked at the dress and found a few pieces of lint inside the bottom of the dress, and told me that she couldn't return it because it seemed, from the two pieces of lint inside, that I had worn it. I tried it on but never wore it. I do have a big dog and he may have brushed against the bottom when it was hanging on the door frame at home. I have never been treated like this. All of the tags were on it too. I demanded a manager and she called one over to me. The manager was nice, and she explained how there are certain things they must check(which I had been told already). She returned the dress for me and hinted I should have gone back to Gainesville where I purchased it. The reason I went to Bethlehem was because it was closer this time and had to be returned by the 15th of January. I have been taught that if you work with the public you do everything you can to provide service to the customer in a pleasant and helpful way. I am 76 years old and I will not be treated this way by anyone. I will have a hard time recommending Bethlehem Belk to anyone I know.

It's perfect for church, dinner or wedding. All the Associates were professional and nice. I don't shop this Belk often as it's about 12 miles from my house. On my most recent visit on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing time. I stood in the check-out line while the person in front of me was being rung up. There were two associates and 2 registers. I assumed one register was closed but after 5 minutes of waiting the other associate says "come on" signaling me to come to the register for her to ring me up. No greeting just a "come on" and will you be using your Belk card. I've never worked at Belk but I'm pretty sure following that question you are supposed to ask if I want to open one up. The answer would have been no, but still she was very rude. I only come to this location when I have to purchase something that I don't have time to wait for in the mail or travel to Macon to get. This Belk has the worst selection of women's clothing and home items amongst any I've been to and is very unorganized. Surprisingly the men's department is decent and well organized. Next time I will drive the extra 30 miles to the Macon location where I always have a positive experience.

Management is willing to order items that they do not carry. Their gas rewards program is very friendly and quickly the discounts add up. Gas station on site, only opened the same hours as the store. Bakery has fresh items in the morning. They run out of bread in the afternoon.
