I'd try not shopping here, but I'm weak for soda and this is the only place I can get a 2-liter for a buck. I did get lucky and found jalapenos on the shelf, but this was the first time in the last 4 visits there were any available. It's our own fault, I know; the drive to save a penny for the consumer means cost-cutting everywhere except for the shareholders. Still, there are some friendly and helpful folks, and the store is clean and well-lit, and always an adventure - the layout seems like it constantly changes, and I took a long stroll until I finally found the al-you-mini-um ferl. First, browsing the (ever diminishing) fishing section, I noticed that approx half of the rods and reels were either missing the reel handle or HALF THE WHOLE ROD. Upon asking an assistant, they informed me they were still full price, would not mark down, and that they "throw the extra parts away". Now that it was evident I wasn't hitting the water, I moseyed over the electronics to pick up an Xbox controller. Where on the app, it says 53.99 and in store listed at 64. Asked the "assistant" and was told "I'll give it to you for whatever it rings up as" and promptly dismissed me to continue gossip with a coworker. After this hour long ordeal, I've done nothing but wasted time and lost all hope in Walmart. But at least I didn't spend the money!

Have been shopping at this store a long time....since it first opened. It had always been…read morepleasurable to shop there. But for last 2-3y there's been a decline much to my dismay. It is 85% the young employee. As a customer it seems they resent having to answer a customer's question, or request for help. Comes across as they are not there to help or even consider you, rather that they are special "cool" because they work there. Particularly the produce section, where their job to check or replace items is far more important than any measly customer. Their big cart is parked for their convenience, no matter a customer can't get to needed vegetables. Also in dairy I asked a worker what was the price on yougart since shelf price label was missing. Reply? " I don't eat yougart so I don't know". Also one has to wonder if the choice of music is for customers or employees. Other notes: employees chatting on personal calls constantly or worse 3+ more gathered in an aisle talking about morning meeting/ mgr. There's more, but said observations have caused me to spend last time / $ there & go to a.store with better trained, courteous employees & mgr that does their job. I tried the salmon tonight and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the ingredients were! It's a frozen item and only took two minutes in the microwave to have a yummy meal. Doug made some spicy green beans to go with the dish - what a terrific meal. Forgot to take pics before I gobbled it down, but I drizzled some sriracha on them and topped the pieces (8 total) with jalapeño slices - boom, fricking delicious. To me Aldi's just another place to shop, but my kid makes it so much fun I love it, too!

I didn't pick any up, but man, they smelled great. The store lacks a good selection of prepared to go foods or platters. I know I went on a holiday, but at my local stores, that means they are constantly putting plates out. I ended up with a brand name meat tray, and it was the only one out. The layout is similar the location at home which I find most confusing. If you shop the perimeter of the store, you will be fine, but I needed some bandaids as I had cut myself on the drive in, and I must have walked the aisles for 5 minutes or so trying to find them. I think they were in the paper goods or beauty aisle. I headed to the self-checkout, and I was wished a nice 4th upon leaving. It was a quick trip, and I suppose it did the job it needed to, but I wish I would have stopped at one of my stores on the way instead.
