Just got out of the hospital went in the Walmart in Conyers wow again.. Lines along.. I walked in from the other side straight in the grocery section and all I hear is drama at the door the host is horrible. I walked over spent over $300 all the time sometimes 454 grocery cuz I have somebody sick a va ..and Me and my blood pressure was out that day I thought I can go ahead and come out to guess what this young lady did instead of her helping me I know she stole my Hospital bad she decide to say she's getting ready to open up register to she was so rude it is unbelievable the way they care they self and then I walked up to one of the head front register managers .. she looked at me and kept running her mouth with the other associate didn't say good morning and say nothing.. I'm going to call corporate and see if some things could be done because it's not fair I video the young lady walking around and she actually could help me I had a hospital bracelet online because of blood pressure and short breathing.. I know people short on help but let me say something we work hard for our money and all y'all employees need to realize that I don't care .. Even though I don't get EBT I heard her talking about it to another customer .. we all that have work have paid taxes and we are entitled to receive anything that can help us out that is not your personal issue to worry about cashier.. By the way I was using cash anyway we deserve to be treated with respect.. The roommate and I were having dinner around this plaza when we realized we wanted water for our hotel room. Decided to walk across the way to Walmart on Saturday, September 9th, a little after midnight. I live in San Francisco, so I always have fun going to big box stores like this. We wandered around and eventually found what we were looking for in beverage cases by the register. (For some reason we couldn't find anything in the beverage aisles.) Got two Dasani waters ($1.68 each) and two Red bulls ($1.98 each). This seems like your average Walmart, though a little messy. And they were out of water and a lot of other things. Maybe in preparation for Irma? Convenient if in the area. Especially if you're staying at a nearby hotel. But I've seen a lot better Walmarts. read more

I haven't experienced what others here have. I frequent this location on my lunch break for quick items and I'm always able to get in and out swiftly. They seem to have a good front end staff, but could probably use a couple more stock people. Though I've never been unable to find what I need, the shelves can be a little messy later in the day. Not uncommon for a big box store like this. I've even successfully returned an item quickly on my lunch break, after standing behind 6 people! This store is akin to a pigsty. I stopped on Sunday evening for convenience since this store is right off of I-20 and enroute to my home.. The clothing, school, and beauty areas were all absolutely wrecked. I had trouble finding anything close to what I was looking for. There were no cashier lanes, only self-checkout and noone around to ask questions anywhere although they kept making code announcements. I had to climb around a bunch of merchandise filled carts to even get out of the store after I'd made my purchase. Awful experience all around. How do they stay open??? I avoid Walmart on general principal. It seems in recent years they've cut back on employees so noone is straightening up the store. This is the worst I've ever seen a Walmart store look.... I have shopped this Walmart location 1436 Dogwood Dr. Se Conyers, GA 30013 since 1995 and have experienced various styles of customer service however never as rude as I did today. Effective today at 6 pm GA's statewide at home begins. A Walmart employee young African American woman with short curly hair and black-framed glasses at the exit door wanted to see my receipt w/o any gloves on. So, of course, I pulled my receipt away from her, in turn, she shouts to a co-worker, "These people are crazy, going crazy and don't want to show receipt b/c I don't have gloves on". My response to her was you judged me? Your calling judgment? The co-worker screams as I walk away from the store something I couldn't make out. She with the short curly hair had no mask, no gloves, and no safe distance practice and asking customers for their receipts. SERIOUSLY! I am not crazy I am practicing safety through this world crisis. I witnessed her the day before (late afternoon) screaming and following a gentleman trying to defuse the encounter with her. Her online application, in my opinion, is she just so happened to answer customer service the questions correctly. BUT was she actually trained for customer service??? My suggestion is to place this person in the warehouse before someone gets hurt. read more

I absolutely hate this Walmart! I started using it because it was conveniently next to a few other stores I frequent, but it has become way too stressful and not worth it to shop here. The staff are often rude or uninterested in assisting you, the checkout lines are always backed up no matter what time of day, and the store is unorganized, unclean, and poorly stocked. It's also always packed, and while not Walmart's fault, it's a pain to try to get out onto the interstate. All in all, I can see why it might be convenient for some to shop here, but after shopping here once a week for months since I moved to Conyers, I'll be taking my shopping to the much-nicer Walmart in Lithonia where it's less stressful and hectic. read more

Went to the Auto Shop for an oil change and a new headlight. Sat in the waiting room for over an hour only to find out they weren't able (or didn't know how?) to remove the oil cap or get to the headlight through the hood. Grossly incompetent and a huge waste of time. Stay away! read more

Yesterday I bought wipers and they were installed incorrectly by another Walmart employee in another county...today it was pouring cats & dogs outside, my windshield wiper came off & broke...I came to the nearest Walmart and ran into this angel name "Chris" (security) came to my rescue! He made sure to find someone who could help me since automotive was closed. He did not leave my side until I got the help I needed. Then he found another angel named "Jorge" Who came out in the pouring rain to install the wiper correctly! I wanteD to leave this review for these 2 GREAT Walmart employees! My usual experience with Walmart: you cane find people to help or they have that don't care attitude... which Chris & I came across when he was trying to find another co-worker to help. Thankfully Chris & Jorge demonstrated excellent customer service! Which is rare sometimes at Walmart! But if I could I would give them both customer service awards! Walmart is Walmart obviously, dont expect a good service when walking in, but this one specifically is just downright trash. Went in looking to have some assistance in trading in an item that did not work, spoke with one of the employees about it and they went through a huge hassle just to have someone rudely tell me no. It is extremely bad service here and even at a Walmart I expected them to at least be able to help with the small task of trading in an item. Not hard. Don't know what they get paid for except to stand around and gossip. If you need customer service at a Walmart don't even bother at this one, it's completely and utterly disgusting. read more

This low rating is for Walmart and Walmart.com...not the tire...I ordered TWO tires and paid for them on walmart.com...I received an email that they had arrived...When I got to the store to p/u tires and have them mounted they only had ONE tire but promised that the other would be there by the next day...That turned into 9 days of me calling daily...and still no tire...Then on day 9 they told me it was there...just come in and p/u...when I got there they couldn't find it...meanwhile I have no contact number other than my store's phone number...I finally make contact via text online and they tell me my order was cancelled...not by me...by them...yet they still have not contacted me yet to tell me that they cancelled my tire...I will get a refund via my credit card but now I am forced to mismatch my tires...overall...what should have been an easy purchase and pick-up...was screwed-up by walmart...and has been a horrible tire buying experience for me...and NOW...I would not recommend buying tires online at walmart.com to anyone...because if there is a problem they will leave you hanging...and they may not even notify you that they cancelled your order...like they did with me..in fact I would discourage buying tires this way from this store...it did not turn out well for me...I'm just saying... read more

I have been taking my car here to the auto center since I purchased it in July of 2011 for oil changes. I have not had any problems with it at all. On one particular day when I took it in for an oil change the mechanic told me that my oil change was free and that I should not worry about the price that day. I found that kind of strange and said ok. Then he also asked me how long has my car been leaking oil. I told him that my car has never leaked oil and that I have always taken it to Walmart since I bought the car and if it had ever leaked oil I would have brought it to his attention or would have taken it to get it looked at somewhere else since the car was still under warranty, but I did not tell him that the car was still under warranty. He then changed his story around and said well it might leak oil. By then I was very pissed and left. When I arrived home I called my attorney and he told me to call Walmart's Corporate office first thing Monday morning. On Monday morning I called Walmart to ask for their corporate office number, but they were acting as if they did not want to give it to me. When I spoke with their Corporate office I explained to them what happened and gave them all the names of the people that were involved. By this time my car was leaking oil all over the place and I had to have it towed to a Toyota dealership and also had to miss a day of work. When I spoke with the Toyota dealer they stated that some type of valve had been stripped and needed to be replaced as well as the oil pan also. They stated that this would cost me $630.00 and that this was due to human error. I called Walmart back and told them what the dealer ship stated and at first they acted like they did not believe me. I also stated that because of this I had to miss a day of work and have my car towed because it was not drivable. I used my insurance roadside assistance for this so there was no charge for the car being towed. The Toyota dealership also stated that it would take two days to fix because they had to order the part and put it on. This was not good for me because I was not going to have a car to get back and forth to work. I called my attorney back and told him all of this. By the time he finished with Walmart, I had a rental car and my car paid for in full. I will never take my car back to Walmart again for car service, ever. read more

I had a good Customer service experience this morning at this Walmart and just wanted to share. I placed an online order for pick up and decided to swing by a little early to see if I could expedite the pick up process. When I arrived, employee Shelby came to assist and at first wasn't exactly sure how to proceed but instead of just saying I don't know and to come back and check later, she went and called her manager in order to be sure she was giving me the correct information. I respect when people can admit they don't know and go out of the way to get an answer. Thank you! read more

Here is a laundry list of problems with this Wal-Mart. 1.) All of the electric carts for the disabled are dead or broken. Non-disabled kids play on them and the employees including manager say nothing. The people looked at me like I was crazy to point this out. An employee told me that they are not allowed to say anything cause they don't want to endanger a sale. 2.) The restrooms are a disgusting joke my misses went in to use the ladies room to find feces and period blood on the walls. The sign in sheets there said they had been cleaned an hour earlier. 3.) There were only four cashiers working on a Saturday night. Lines backed up and service was horrible. The manager just looking around like all was well and seemed offended that I complained. 4.) The shelves were not filled. 5.) Tried to get help from a Manager and they said they would send somebody to help me but after half an hour i gave up. 6.) The music is played loud to the point it makes it difficult for the hard of hearing. In short, this is less of a Wal-mart and more like a Hell-mart. I talked to an employee that did not look like they had their soul sucked out yet and am glad they are looking into unionizing. Go to the Covington Walmart or the Lithonia one cause the Conyers one is just played out. read more

I went to the store because my new cell phone had a "C" no quotes cord requirement. My phone was dead and I was lost without in more ways than one. No navigation,not YouTube, not to mention phone text email and messenger. I just want to say thank you to Jasmine. She works overnight in Electronics. She help me find the best deal on a car charger , while helping me charge my phone. To top it off she helped me find a decent case at an affordable price. (I had been told at another Wal-Mart that Wal-Mart no longer carried any LG phone accessories). I went there today ( 2 days before Thanksgiving ). I spent 2 hrs , mostly grocery shopping. This was probably my 10th time shopping there since I recently moved to Conyers. The store was stocked and even though it was crowded and crazy busy, everyone that worked there was SUPER NICE. The lady in the Bakery, the stock clerks, the clerk in housewares and ended things off with a GREAT cashier (Clara). I figured people would be short tempered because it was busy and almost Thanksgiving but I had a very nice experience. I loathe grocery shopping and 2 hrs at that. I love Walmart, but the one thing this particular Walmart can definitely improve on are the disabled scooters used in the store. Ever since I moved to Conyers, GA and started coming here every single scooter will be unplugged between uses and either completely dead or close to it. No one is monitoring the usages on these scooters and the patrons who come here, including myself, who have limited walking abilities has to suffer through. I would bring this up to the workers all of the time to ensure that the scooters stay plugged up or get plugged up between usage but all we hear are excuses. I wish there was a way for these people to get it together. read more

When you ask the manager at the Conyers Hwy 138 Walmart where something is and he tells you I don't know I think it's up front and you locate it in the middle of the store. This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been inside. The self checkout area is always a mess with the machines needing assistance between every other item. There is no excuse for the nasty bathrooms either. I would be ashamed if I was working here. read more

The older lady in electronics had an attitude when I asked for an item that was locked away and she never came back and gave me the item. This store deserves "0" stars!!! Put up a layaway at this store in September. Got to the store at 7:10pm to pickup d layaway, only to find in disbelief the lights off & that they have posted a sign stating layaway hours are 10-7. When I put up this layaway in September there were NO sign stating any such notification. Normally they close at 8 & employees in the front stated that layaway close at 8pm as well. I had been to 3 other Walmart's to pickup other layaways & NO other store posted anything of the such. There were at least 10-15 people there to pickup their layaways as well. We've received emails about the layaways & nothing about hours changed to 10-7. Providing ALL layaways are due out by Monday, December 10th. So why wouldn't this store have a staff of employees to work extended hours to get these layaways out throughout the weekend. We asked to speak with a Store Manager, never saw one! There were a Support Manager name "Telly" came to speak with us, he was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! He stated "those are our hours & there's nothing we can do...we can reimburse y'all your money if y'all want!" He claimed the reason they close at 7pm is because it's dark & they're not allowed to go into the trailers in the dark, which makes NO sense because it gets dark at 5:30pm, so they're able to go into the trailers in the dark from 5:30-7, trifling! He claimed that he would call the Manager to come talk to us. While standing there with him, next thing we know he walks off without saying a word & after 40 mins never came back to update us on any conversation with the Manager. We then see another associate, her name was "Bianca" also a "Support Manager" she was all apologetic, stating what "Telly" failed to tell us is that there isn't anybody there to open the trailers after 7pm, because they go home at 7. She too stated that she would get the Manager, then went to the back & NOT return! Not to mention how unprofessional she was as she walked into their warehouse area, she stated to someone in the back "y'all need to call someone, because I'm NOT about to be bother with they're mess!" After sitting about 10 more minutes another associate came thru & stated she would go to the back & get a Manager, being apologetic, then proceeded to d warehouse & she was heard stating "don't be mad at me because it ain't my fault!" All anybody kept asking was to talk to the Store Manager & all 3 associates pretended that they were going to get them, either the Store Manager wasn't there or they refused to be bothered! These associates were UNPROFESSIONAL & LIARS! About 5 minutes later, here comes 2 police officers asking did any of us call for them, we replied no. One of the police officers went to the back to find out if it was one of them, the officer brought out "Telly & Bianca" of course they were looking stupid, as everyone proceeded to tell the officers the order of the event. No one had been threatening to the associates, No one attacked any of the associates, the only thing everyone asked for them to do is to go get the Store Manager, that they stated they would get, which NEVER came. So what was the purpose of calling the police! People, IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS PROFESSIONALLY, DON'T WORK JOBS THAT REQUIRE YOU TO WORK FACE TO FACE WITH PEOPLE! It's obvious that this store employee a lazy, horrible, lying management team & is NOT worthy of me patronizing or spending my money! read more

We shop often at the Conyers Walmart Supercenter. and upon occasion we have needed assistance. One of the managers (CSM Brenda) has been extremely helpful. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered some things off line and was sent a email stating the items were ready for pickup. I went to this store to pick up my items only to be told it wasn't taken off the truck yet and to come back the next day! I came back the next day and was told to wait while they retrieved my items. 20 mins went by and 4 more customers came in for help. The associate came out to recheck my numbers and name then went back in the back. 30 mins went by and no associate. More customers came in. By this time, my toddler is impatient and is due for a feeding. I did not expect to wait an hr for one package! The associate then came out saying they could not find the package and that they had people in the back looking for it. 2 hours later and still no package and no associate! One by one I started to see people come out in different time spaces for breaks! No one gave me word on my package and no one asked me anything! I then told the associate I wanted my money back in which she called for a manager. I was given my money on a gift card! No I want cash because I am NEVER shopping in this store again! I was told it had to be put on a gift card and was sent on my way. No "sorry ma'am" no update on my package nothing! It was terrible service and what makes it worse is when the managers don't care either! read more
