I got a text message @ 5:33pm that my prescription was ready. I arrived 30 minutes later and they are closed. Someone should teach the female employee phone etiquette. I don't know who taught her that mmmhmmm was an acceptable response to when someone says "thank you" but it is not. This is the worst service I've ever experienced in a pharmacy. This (Medicine) is something you need and they tell you to pick up and they don't have it ready. They text random text telling you to pick up and it's NOT ready. The lines are long after work when they have to know people will pick up when the get off work. This is the only CVS located anywhere near where I work. They, like most CVS metro ATL locations have a Chase Bank ATM. Since there is no chase bank anywhere near my office either, I hit this CVS now and then when I need some cash. I usually buy a thing or two while I am there such as distilled water or some kind of snacks to keep at my office. The problem is, even if there is only one person ahead of you at the register, there is going to be a minimum 5-10 minute wait. They are so slow and their clientele at this location is always trying to pull something over so every transaction of the person ahead of me always takes forever. I give it a second star just for existing and just for having that Chase ATM. If not for that, it would be a one star. Oh...and for those of you red box fans, they have 2 kiosks at this location as well. read more

I have been placing the same order for a blood pressure pill for a week. I have tried to fill everyday and it has yet to be filled. I called the Stonecrest, Ga location where it is and could not get an answer. After I sat on hold for 30 minutes, I was hung up on. I spoke to the assistant store manager who said she would call me back about the issue, but did not. I am still waiting on this prescription as of January 21st. After this prescription is refilled, I WILL be taking my business else where. This service has been absolutely terrible. read more

The pharmacy is consistently friendly sometimes I walk in and they are just not in the mood to be friendly. One of the pharmacists there (young pretty black lady) is just really rude and always seems irritated about something. Henrietta is really helpful and there's another tech who is helpful but I don't know her name although she did mention she works a second job. They are pretty lackadaisical about filling prescriptions timely. I had to wait an hour in my car then when I went back in they said it still wasn't ready come back in 2 hours. Went home came back and it still wasn't ready for another 15 minutes. Maybe understaffed? Not sure. But my medicine can only come to CVS and this one is most convenient. I hope they can improve the service at the pharmacy. The store part is always friendly!! The 3 star is for Henrietta, the tech and the store portion of the building - everyone else would get 1 star. The Pharmacy staff is very unprofessional. They really need a class in professionalism and ethics. I arrived at CVS on Covington Highway, I gave my prescriptions to the window attendant, (time 11:45a.m.) she closed the window , I waited over 5 minutes. She finally opened the window and stated we don't have this, you have to get it filled somewhere else. I asked her when will the medication be in stock? Her reply: We don't know! Wow! Mind you, she's chewing gum while head and neck jerking. (Bad Attitude) Another example of the professionalism: Called in, went through the automation system, one of the staff answered the phone, Stated: "Please Hold"- immediately placed me on hold while waiting over 10 minutes before they pick up the line to assist me ( I provided my prescription to them the day before. My call was placed at 4 p.m.) Finally Stacy answered the phone, I asked if prescription was ready for pickup?, her response, NO, however we will work on it right now! I stopped going several months ago, decided to try again, still the same unprofessional conduct!!!!! No more!!!!! read more

This is my first and last time I will EVER deal with CVS!! I have been waiting since 12/4/19 to have a prescription filled. I first tried to get it filled at a CVS near my doctor's office and after waiting over 2 hours, I was told they didn't have it. Asked to have the prescription transferred to a CVS near me and was told "they were too busy to call and I could do it myself online." WOW! I got in contact with the next CVS and told prescription would be ready 12/7/19. Called on 12/7/19 and told prescription would be available in 2 hours. Waited 4 hours and went to pick up. Told prescription not available until Monday 12/9/19. I called my doctor to have a new prescription sent to another service through my insurance. As of 12/13/19, CVS still had my prescription on hold, making it difficult to get it filled with the new service. Had to have my insurance carrier get involved to have CVS release the prescription so the other service could fill it. I keep getting text saying my prescription is too early to fill. How can that be when you haven't and can't fill the initial prescription?!?! THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH CVS AGAIN. This is the worst pharmacy I ever been to one my doctor sent over my prescriptions from 9:40 in the morning I go to pick up my prescriptions and they try to charge me 20 for it I stated I had insurance then I literally had to wait 20 for him to process it as insurance then I finally get my prescription IM MISSIG MY OINTMENT I then go back and tell them she says they don't have it they have to order it ok why didn't they say that from the jump the lady goes to check and they found one and I'm STILL WAITING a whole hour to get the ointment I was pose to get from the jump this is the worst pharmacy ever do not fill your prescriptions here at all !!!!!!! The lady that was on duty on Feb 2nd 2019 at 12:15 pm was so rude and unprofessional... she treats customers with bad attitude , when asked about the bathroom she pointed to it although it was locked with a passcode and she knows that ... also, she left one of our items behind the counter and didn't handle it to us and we didn't figure that out until we left the store and we had to drive back, also she was treating the guy employee there with a bad way. read more

They don't pick up dr calls or faxes in a timely manner, are out of many meds ( and don't suggest OTC alternatives when available), totally missed giving me a med that my dr had called in, are not knowledgeable about the drugs and don't even pretend to keep up or counsel on meds. Just googled the number to call and see if my daughter had a refill on her Eczema cream. After waiting 5 mins she told me if I looked at the label it would tell me that. Prescriptions are never ready...even after receiving an automated call saying that they are... even after waiting a day before going to pick them up. Service is slow. Not sure if they're under staffed or they need a better system and larger work area. You can see prescriptions stacked everywhere. The phone rings constantly and no one that can I see answers it. Last time I was told 1 of my 3 prescriptions needed to be ordered; should take about 3 days and they would call me. Well, 2 weeks have passed and not one call received. I called today to check one the order, was immediately put on hold after about 70 rings (not kidding), got disconnected after waiting 20 minutes... called right back and cut off again after 32 minutes on hold. Unfortunately CVS is where my insurance is and this is the closest one to me. But after today I cannot patronize this particular store on Covington Highway any more. read more
