I had new tires put on my vehicle at this Clinton Walmart. When finish saw that they scratched the hell out of my chrome wheels on every wheel. They filed a claim and denied it with picture evidence on each one. They sent a letter that said they made a decision and to call. I only found that out after waiting an hour on hold that it was denied when they had obvious pictures showing the damage. I took it to two other shops one a Lexus dealer and another I was getting tires on my jeep and both said it was a careless employee. Blows my mind. The employee that took the pictures for the claim was rubbing off the shavings that was left from them scraping them up. ‍ read more

Recently they've stopped putting price tags on things. Half of the clothes have the price part ripped off and all the new stuff doesn't have any prices on them. So it's just a surprise when you get to the register. "Oh but you can use the ap" how about no. How about you just be straight forward in your prices? How about when my friend and I load the ap we don't see two different prices. I don't expect you to be ethical but you aren't even trying to hide it. read more

If you are a delivery driver for uber/DoorDash etc.... Do not accept orders from this Walmart. For 1 week straight they have never had the order they actually assign you to. Once you arrive you will sit and wait like The app tells you too, sometimes 30 min +. once you call the store to check on order, they will tell you they sent the order out hours ago. And yet they keep assigning orders that don't exist. read more

Been to this Walmart a few times, really love the experience, everyone is very nice and friendly, they all say hi and ask how you are doing. What stated out for me was the last two times we went, our cashier both times was Andrea, she was very friendly, outgoing, and made us feel welcomed and safe. She showed that she loves her job, and her customers. She told us about her pets and we told her about our huskies and cat, we asked her about a good Vet for our babies, and she Roy her away told us about her Vet and we really appreciate that, and sure enough her Vet was very nice and everything. I really appreciate Andrea, she took care of us and made sure our experience was great. Because of her we will definitely come back, and this will always be our go to Walmart. This location used to be decent. Now they have 50 self checkout registers and only 4 of them are open for use. Why do I have to wait in a line to self checkout? Then be pressed about my receipt every single time I leave the store? The receipt checking seems more like a racial thing than anything. Then the parking lot has a 2 foot gap from the asphalt to the dirt they used while they are doing construction. This place needs a lawsuit for all the vehicles that I've seen damaged trying to leave this parking lot. read more

The new layout I could get used to, however, they have downsized on product selection. Most items you only have one or two choices. Also, what is up with the self-checkout lines? The more bags you fill, the farther you have to walk to put it in the bag. You scan your item and to put it in the bag, you have to walk 4-5 steps then come back to your cart, scan your next item, walk it down to the bag and come back again. Not the ideal layout when you have a cart full of stuff. I will avoid this store. I will go to Riverdale Walmart or pay more at a nearby grocery store before going here. Sorry, this has been my store since it opened, but I just can't do it anymore. read more

I tried to send money to my grandson via Walmart to Walmart. They told me that all he needed was the transaction number to pick it up. When he went to pick it up they required identification and would not accept either his student I'd or his learner's permit. The time I wasted driving back and forth to Walmart to initiate and subsequent cancel the transaction I may as well have driven the 40 miles to his house and delivered it in person. What a joke. Walmart rarely fails to disappoint me. I just found out that after I tried to get the Walmart employee to talk to me I the phone to try to work something out. Their customer service is so terrible. Marley accused my daughter of stealing & yelled at her in front of me when I went to ask her about it. I told her lead he assured me they would handle it, we're not the only ones who have complained about her poor treatment. If you don't like people & hate your job you shouldn't work in customer service. Honestly the lead didn't seem to care at all that his staff yelled at my minor child. It's Walmart what can I say more. One stop shopping close to home and usually they have what you need. Always crowded and the huge aisles are divided by displays of deals. Sometime I think the aisles are too divided so getting around gets cramped. They need a few more cashiers to get 5stars. My wife and I do 2x a month grocery shopping and so our basket is usually very full as are others who look for cashiers instead of the quick self checkout. This leads to long waits when there are few registers open. Customer service line was long so apparently customer service is not what they pride themselves on. 1 cashier doing the desk. 15 minutes and we haven't moved at all. Line is 10 customers long and would have grown but people have come up and walked away. read more

She said they were busy and would get to us eventually. It's 11:30 in the morning and I've watched 15 workers on their phone walk by. More blue vests than customers. I live relatively close to this Walmart, so I come here most often. A few months ago I was scammed out of 2000$ and the company I had to go through wanted me to get reprints from Walmart of purchases I had made to verify that some prepaid cards were actually mine (someone got ahold of the numbers) and after a lot of confusion and having to come back about 4 different times, a man finally helped me and got everything I needed in about ten minutes. I don't really have any complaints other than when I do need help, it usually takes a long while to get someone to acknowledge me, and some employees are rude and have no idea where anything is. Terrible service, their pick up is trash, waited an hour. There was a ton of cars waiting but one employee every twenty minutes. When I first moved to Utah I used to go to this Wal-Mart to use their bathroom. True story. Let me explain...when we first moved to Clinton it took a couple days to get our water turned on and this Wal-Mart was close so every time I needed to go it was off to Wal-Mart! I guess I could buy my bathroom supplies and use some at the same time! I wish Wal-Marts in California were like the ones in Utah. When we moved to the area they had just finished the remodel of this store. Everyone who worked here seemed to take pride in their job and were super friendly. Several months ago this Wal-Mart changed to start offering a better variety. Before that I had to make multiple stops at other stores on a regular basis. I don't have to do that as much anymore and it's a huge time and gas saver. The store is always clean and pretty well stocked. The employees are usually pretty nice. read more

The store itself is great. It's Walmart. It has everything you need for daily life. The major downside is that some of the workers here are extremely rude. I tried to buy a luggage here and one of the employees gave me a hard time about it and was rude about selling it to me. There's definitely better workers out there, but they take anyone it seems. read more

On January 1, 2015, my grandfather passed away. As he aged, he would make regular trips to the Walmart in Clinton and had made friends with many of the employees there. When the employees had heard of his passing, they made sure that a live plant was sent to his family for the funeral with the following on the tag: "With much sympathy and condolences we offer our prayers and support during this difficult time. Your Wal-mart friends and family." This is truly an example of going above and beyond in Customer Service and acknowledging that every patron is important. That plant is now a permanent part of the decor in our home. Thank you Wal-mart friends and family. read more

The customer service at this store is beyond awful. I had to make a delivery here today and the receiver was so rude that I couldn't deal with him anymore. I went to customer service and asked to speak to the store manager she was worse than the reciever. It's no wonder the staff treat you the way they do. Very poor customer service at this location. Approached at the door for my receipt because a large toy I purchased was not in a bag, the receipt was in one of the many bags of grocery's in my cart. Just a comment on customer service: I got online to do 1 hour photo. When I get there, I'm told "oh ya, this happens all the time but I guess it didn't come through." Okay, my question is if it happens all the time, what do you do to solve this problem. Their answer is you call 1-800-walmart. I was irritated that I drove all the way to walmart just to be told to fix it myself. If the store has the recurring issues, shouldn't they fix it? Was shopping for toys, games, anything kids elementary age would love for the school store where they could use their school dollars they earned all year. Shelley was AMAZING!!! She was so friendly and helpful. The toy area wasn't even in her department and she went out of her way to help me get everything I needed. When she realized I didn't have a cart she went and found me one. Above and beyond any experience I've ever had while shopping at any store!
