I shop here for things other than food. I want to give a shout out to the fortunate 500 company that trained me, Walmart. They taught me how to voice myself. One work shift Frosty the Snow Man by the Jackson 5 was stuck on repeat for over 6 hours. I'm assuming I was the only associate to voice my concerns because it was fixed with in 5 minutes upon alerting my manager. On my way home to Schaumburg decided to stop and get a Eastern Hat for my brother. This was May 7, 2022. I never saw such a unorganized mess of a store. Racks of clearance clothes were all over the place. Good luck finding clearance and current clothes. We asked a nice employee to help us find a cap. We were referred to a location but no EIU hats near EIU clothing. This would be the logical location to find a hat. At another location at the front of the store we were able to get a EIU baseball cap. What a mess of a store. read more

Never mind the steady flow of Walmartians, they're to be expected. What really makes this store take its place at the bottom of the food chain is its chronic filthiness, the emptiness of its shelves, the lack of anyone working its checkout lanes, and a seemingly incompetent management team (or maybe they just don't care). How corporate allows this to continue is baffling. Ignore the one negative comment on here about the Mattoon store. Go there. It's much better and you won't need a tetanus shot after you leave. read more

this is the worst Walmart ive ever delt with.. they constantly run out of things. They have a limited selection as far as Walmarts go. There is a Walmart in the next town over about a 7 mile drive.. save yourself some grief and drive the 7 miles to the other Walmart. read more

This Walmart has fast,friendly staff and is very clean. Delicious steaks never disappoint!!! My only knock on this Walmart is the Coca Cola section should be bigger. read more

Never had any problems here. MUCH nicer than the one in Mattoon, even if it is smaller. Produce, deli, bakery and meats are always great quality and haven't had any encounters with unfriendly staff. read more

They're always out of everything. This being a college town, you would think they would take that into consideration and order merchandise accordingly. Not a good selection of items either. Not nearly as many items, or the quality, of the Mattoon Walmart. read more

It's Walmart. I got hedge clippers, Parmesan cheese, coffee creamer, 12 case of rolling rock, a new bike, and elmers glue in one place. It's amazing. read more
