I had never been treated so rudely in My life by cashiers. I merely asked for a price check and the worker told me off big time. She told me why I did not see the prices on the shelf? Or why did I not do a self check on the wall. All this time while she has her gun on her hand. Later she tell me to put the item I did not want back on the shelf am like did you here me I have my dog in the car. I need to go check out fast. This is my home Walmart. There are a few reasons why this store stands out. 1st) It is clean (!), orderly, and staff is nice and hardworking; which it a pleasure (outside of convenient location) to shop here. Not as new (or old) as other Walmart stores, but just as--if not better?--in the ways that it counts. 2nd) I found my Medicare plan here through my broker, Casey, who sets-up her table and personally makes herself available to all in need. Because of her contact my sign-up on my plan was smooth and spot-on. I got the plan I wanted and needed under the daunting and overwhelming of unknowns of "where to begin?" Casey was the A-Z in this process and second to none. She is a great go-to where you don't know where to turn. 3rd) This is the only Walmart I know of that has someone named "Lawrence" who serenades you the minute you open your car door walking into the store, to when you exit to your car. Carting back'n'forth to melodies of the likes of Nat-King-Cole over karaoke. What a spark of joy he brings. He doesn't impose nor get in anyone's way...quite the opposite, you have to seek him out and make an effort to give him a dollar. And(!) his voice is real! I thought he had a recording at first, but, nope, that's his "true smooth" lifting and calming you in and out of the parking lot. Honestly, Lawrence alone makes this "my store" but all the adds make it a glory to start and/or end the day to shop here. It may not be the newest store, but where it counts and excels makes it top-of-the-line! Good work Walmart! Keep igniting the sparks, because the joy is felt. The prices are reasonable. The customer service center is friendly and quick for returns and exchanges. There are many self checkout lanes available. It's convenient to shop for food and clothes. They've got everything you need from laundry detergent to tools to fix your home. I came to Walmart 20 minutes before they closed to get a phone charger as mine broke unexpectedly and I use my phone for work. I hit the call button for assistance as the case was locked and I could not get the charger. No one came. I walked around and I asked a worker could he send someone to electronics to get a charger out of the locked case he told me no. I was in shock as he was so dismissive and walked away. We came upon another worker and asked could they unlock the case she said oh we don't have keys. And she went to another worker who laughed and said oh no keys. When my husband asked for a manager she said they have no keys either and they are somewhere in the store and she walked away. I can't say this was discrimination but I feel that way as we were dismissed treated poorly and left feeling humiliated. Walmart should be ashamed and the Walmart on Army Trail Rd in Bloomimgdale will never see us again not as if they care. read more

Horrible location (associates don't care)... People are not friendly and avoid helping you. I had 300 dollars in groceries and the lady didn't want to ring me up. She was literally mad because I had her ring me up and she had to stop texting. I shop early 5-6 am because it's not busy but the cashiers during this time are terrible. She tried to tell me I need to bag myself because they don't bag stuff during that time. There is no leadership for early morning that can ever be found They don't answer the phones and once when I called they picked up the phone and you could hear them put it on the counter. Went to purchase a ps5 for my son because they showed 6 in stock and was given the runaround and lied to. 1st manager said he is saving them for his associates. 2nd manager was clueless. 3rd manager basically he is saving the for online only, but you go online and they are not even showing the ps5. First guy (Raymond) said Sunday morning, second guy said Monday morning, and the third supposed manager said Tuesday morning. So which one is it? Store review: This is another Walmart that pisses me off. How often do I waste 30-45 minutes in this store just to try to get a deal. Although my brother was able to pricematch a fry's promotion for GTA V for xbox one for 29.99 which was a steal. When we arrived they told us they would be able to price match, then he told us to wait for the manager to over-ride. We continued to stand for another 25 minutes waiting for someone to come. Within that time the employee that was helping us had finished his shift and left without telling anyone about our ongoing price match. Waited another 10 minutes finally someone comes and they are able to price match. It is almost painful waiting so long just to buy one simple thing in the store. Pros: Pricematching with many stores, online store to pickup. If you download the app deal catcher if prices drop elsewhere they will give you money back on the items. Cons: Lazy employees, nobody wants to help period or even do there job. Clearance section is a joke, why do people over pay for the red tag clearance items Hidden deals: Pricematching and the deal catcher apps are the main draw. Not a fan of wallmart had an emergency stop and unfortunately this store was the closest. This Wal-Mart is pretty bad. Imagine the Hunger Games but with a bunch of creatures from the X-MEN. First of all the parking lot in front of the store is smaller than most Wal-Mart's & is filled with a bunch of people who barely passed their driving exam at the DMV. Second this Wal-Mart just gives you the feeling that you're dumpster juice as soon as you walk in. I once asked an employee for help & they looked at me like they didn't care & just pointed me into a direction instead of walking me to the aisle & showing me the location of what I was looking for. I honestly don't mind shopping at Wal-Mart. A lot of people prefer Target but I like that some Wal-Mart's are 24 hours. However the customer service here is so bad & the parking lot is just a mess that I will try not to come to this one especially with a Target across the street. The only plus about this place is that it has the low Wal-Mart prices & they always have what you need in stock. Like most Wal-Mart's this location also has a Subway restaurant inside of it. Overall the place isn't that clean, the parking lot is small for a Wal-Mart & the staff isn't that helpful. I would try to go to another location next time. read more

Went to Walmart in the evening in Bloomingdale and was trying to find some plastic drawers which on their website was on sale. We couldn't find them so we asked a Walmart associate named Anne. She brought us to the section of the drawers and they were different ones and we were trying to explain the ones we saw on the Walmart app. She got an attitude and said "don't interrupt me and let me finish" she was explaining something about the online stuff and I told her the price was from your guys website. I told her in the past they would price match it before because sometimes the website and in store are two different prices. She then told me they don't do that and I was like yes you do since it's your guys own pricing. She then got more attitude and was like "I work here and I would know. Then I told whatever that's fine and proceeded to walk away and she kept giving me more attitude and was saying we were sarcastic and I kept telling her we are done. I had to continue telling her we are done and she kept talking instead of trying to help find someone to check inventory. Later on I'm talking to another associate who was more helpful Mustafa and he brings us to a manager trying to find if it's still in stock and I can hear her two aisles away saying something "now you've asked 3 people" basically giving more attitude. When I told the manager about the attitude problem it sounded like this associate Anne has had troubles in the past before. The assistant manager said she was going to talk to her. I'm sure nothing will become of it but it is not appropriate for an employee to be giving attitude to a customer when we are trying to explain the item we are looking for. What is it about Walmart that just makes you cranky soon as you hit the parking lot? It's hard to make an argument for spending more for practically the same item(s) but if you've ever entered a Walmart, then you understand. I much prefer Target simply for the calmness I feel being there as opposed to the rushed, chaos that's fueled by slow walkers, tight aisles, cluttered displays, slow cashiers, crowds and overall visual oddness that assaults the senses on practically every level here. The prices are good, and they have a nice assortment of produce and food in general. Lots of variety in practically any category, but getting past everything else that adds to your stress while there isn't always worth it. I've actually left this place frustrated only to go across the way to Target, and immediately felt calmer as soon as I walked inside. It's that crazy. read more

This Supercenter is much bigger than the Addison one. It does not offer any car services though. This place has been open for a month now and is not 24 hours, but they do open from 6am-12am--not sure if it's the same on Sunday. There is a Subway, Eye Center, a salon, and an eyebrow threading place inside. I have ordered a birthday cake from the bakery, a 10in round cake with 12 cupcakes came out to $20. It was decorated beautifully and tasted wonderful. Trying to get cellular data reception from Sprint is terrible here. Wish they offered wifi like target. I'm trying to earn my Shopkik points. New store means new parking lot. The spaces are very tight and no one knows how to park here. read more

I called this walmart to make sure the item I needed was in stock at this store as indicated online at walmart.com. An associate put me on hold to check and said it was not in stock. I thanked him for checking and told him i appreciated him doing that, because walmart.com indicated there were several available at that store and last month it saud the same thing, but when i got to the store there were none. I was going to call another store when I had an I coming call. It was the same associate calling to tell me he advised a manager who checked the stock room and found the product. Went to the service desk where a hot Cheetos eating lip smacking teen said they don't open the register without a purchase. I had the receipt in my hands, she rolled her eyes and still said, no. Went to the salon to get change and she said, she just 'bought' change for their register and said "no".
