I was in Biloxi for a convention, and needed some snack food for the convention to munch on from time to time. In riding around the previous evening I noted where the Walmart was, so it was an easy find later. Entering, it is a Walmart. Nothing special there. However, they actually had handheld baskets for use by patrons! The Walmart I have at home hasn't had these in years (because lowlifes stole them all). I grabbed one and made my way in to look for things for the convention. Came out with a sandwich (which oddly could be said to have had too much cheese on it) and some Jolly Ranchers, the latter of which I never actually broke open. The sandwich was good though. I also had a really good interaction with the greeter at the front concerning those same baskets, so for this Walmart I am quite grateful! read more

We are so sick and tired of going to Walmart on Pass rd or Switzer and people asking for money. They are now on the inside of Walmart asking for money! It's like dang we just want to grocery shop. I called today to the Walmart Supercenter Store located on Switzer Rd. Biloxi Mississippi wanting to purchase a car battery from the auto dept. The Walmart Representative Operator connected me to the Automotive Department. I waited on the phone for over 3 minutes no one would answer so I hung up and called back again. The same Walmart Representative Operator answered the phone and told me she would try again, and I waited 2 more minutes then hung up and I called back. Then the same Walmart Representative Operator tells me there's probably no one back there. My question is since Walmart advertises they have the lowest prices on everything in their store. We'll if I can't call and ask a sales person to see if Walmart Supercenter Store has my battery then who in this Walmart Supercenter Store can I call? read more

For a Walmart, this is one of the nicer ones. Let's just say I feel more comfortable going to this one compared to the ones in Gulfport. They have a decent selection of organic items, and they're near the beach and Edgewater mall. read more

I used to dread going to Walmart, but this location has changed my mind. The store is clean and organized. I haven't run into extremely long checkout lines, and the self-checkout option is always quick. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the grocery pickup. Am I excited to rate a Walmart good?!?! Heck yes! Just got off work and need one more black out blind but the Gulfport Walmart didn't have any. I couldn't find any here either so the guys in the service area not only searched the computer but actually ran around and found me one. I got help from two super cool super nice guys at this store. I'm very pleasantly surprised. I work at the hospital down the street so this will be a go to if Walmart is needed. The Assist Manager had worked all night and still took the time to help. I wish i would have got their names but thank you for my first good service review at a Walmart- ever. read more

I have to say.. I have been to many Walmarts and this is by far the most put together one I have ever seen! It is nice! The food, fruits and veggies are fresh! The food section is pretty much it's own store. There are a few things I wish they had but overall I can find almost everything here. This place seems more expensive than what I had back in California but there are less major supermarkets around. You get mostly good stuff for what you pay for! I've been satisfied. The only thing that was kind of disappointing to me were the strawberries.. not many good ones to choose from. read more

Terrible Walmart. Nothing is ever in stock and if it is, it is not on the shelf, and there are always lines at the check out or customer service. I sat in line today for 10 minutes. While doing so there was only 1 person working at the counter. I observed 7 employees sitting around talking nearly 15 feet away. It doesn't appear that it was until I pulled my phone to write this review that someone decided to come over and help the women at customer service. Sure they could have been on break, but I doubt Walmart would approve of taking your break right in front of waiting customers... my work place certainly does not. read more

Since I had to add this Walmart location to Yelp, I am assuming that this is a relatively new Walmart in Biloxi. It is pretty nice. It's clean and well stocked. It has the usual Walmart offerings: a vision center, pharmacy, groceries, clothes, electronics, house goods, cosmetics and cheap prices. They have a pretty decent deli and lunch/dinner to go area. They have sub sandwiches that were pretty tasty. They also had popcorn shrimp and wings, but I didn't ever try those. The produce is sub-par, but I find that to be true with all Walmarts. I bought some bananas that had no banana flavor, and one of the 3 apples I purchased was fine on the outside yet rotten to the core. I really liked their donuts and felt they have a good freshly baked goods selection (breads, cakes, cookies, pies, etc). Their meat selection is decent as well, and I was surprised by the taste and quality of the ribeyes I purchased from this Walmart. I usually don't like meat from Walmart, but these ribeyes were delicious on the grill. I felt their plastic cups/plates/trash bags and dog food was awkwardly placed over by the kids clothes, but I was able to find it. However, the clothes selection itself is pretty large. I only buy PJs and kids clothes at Walmart, so I can't speak on the quality of their regular, everyday clothes. But they have a large selection and affordable prices. They also have a large selection when it comes to home goods, electronics and holiday/seasonal stuff. I was in Biloxi during October with Halloween not that far off and I don't think there was a monster-sized bag of candy that you COULDN'T find at that Walmart!!! The only downside of this Walmart which is the downside of any and every Walmart on the planet: parking!!!! The parking lot is relatively big, but given that this is the main shopping for the thousands of residents in Biloxi, it becomes very VERY small when you go to find a parking spot! Expect to park far or wait for awhile. Another complaint of most Walmarts is checking out and the long lines. I have visited this Walmart twice and felt both times that checkout went smoothly and as quickly as possible. Perhaps I was in good spirits both days, who knows lol read more

Worst Walmart ever. Rudest employees and the most absent minded managers I've ever experienced. Chris the assistant manager is rude, condescending and entirely unhelpful. Management drops the ball on promises made to consumers and then forces the customer to deal with the brunt. I'm a business owner who spends a fair amount at Walmart on immediate emergency supplies on a daily basis but I will not be using this location ever again. read more

Biloxi Wal-Mart is my favourite Wal-Mart on the coast. It's clean and has most items that we need. We try not to go during very busy times so when we do go, there is plenty of parking and it's not too crowded. The down side is no matter what time you go, there will only be a few check outs open and lines to wait in. Also the employees seem much nicer at this location. read more

I was sceptic at first of this highly regarded Walmart. Surely all Walmarts are the same dirty, poorly stocked hell hole that we've all come to recognize. Well I'm here to say that this Walmart lives up to the hype. Here are a few things that set this store apart from the other aforementioned hell holes. First on the list: the bathrooms. The sinks all work magnificently. Sensors actually detect that you're there and deliver a steady flow of water with sink basins deep enough so that you're not getting water everywhere. I feel that most Walmarts almost discourage you from washing your hands, but not this one! Next, the $5 movies. The discount movie bin has become synonymous to a post-hurricane Katrina disaster zone. Here, the $5 movies are all on a rotating rack, making each movie title visible and easy to choose between. Simply amazing. Last but not least: the stock. On my cross country road trip(in our camper), we've visited many Walmarts in the south as our main source of food and overnight parking. This is the first store that we've found the more esoteric southern comfort food ingredients like tripe, ox tail, and andouille sausage(not really esoteric, but strangely not found in many stores) Parking lot is smaller than most other stores due to the train tracks that run in front of the store, but that's only a problem at the peak shopping times between 4 to 7. Also, while they have an auto care aisle, they don't have a shop for any mechanic work which is really it's only fault. read more

I do believe this is quite possibly the FIRST review I have EVER done on a Wal-Mart. This one stands out. It was the one where my daughter first taught me how to use the self check out lanes. I am low technology, I have a old flipphone still. Our lists here always include the following items (because we are down there visiting the beach and casinos and trying to budget hotels and food) : Nutella the biggest one and make it 2, Sara Lee Butter Bread, Ramen Noodles Chicken (always a 12 pack of these, drinks, energy drinks, junk food and microwaveable meals like Chef-Boy-At-Dee, Spaghettios and this last time I got some blueberry jam for my make it myself waffle at the Super 8. The only thing we haven't seen in here that we always stock up on while down there is salt water taffy - I can eat a 2 whole boxes of that stuff on the way home, or just watching a movie. Clean store, and I LOVE being able to check myself out (my last transaction number was 04556). Definitely will be here again, and to think for the longest time I thought the nearest Wal-Mart was in Pass Christian and had been riding all the way down there for things. read more

Just absolutely terrible experience. I went to electronics to purchase a speaker that was locked behind a case at a listed price of $59.00. Once it was scanned, the price showed it was $154.00. We informed the employee that this was wrong and she called for another employee to come look (I'm assuming he was over her in the electronics department). He saw that we were right and called for a store manager to come over. The store manager came and he had an attitude with the initial female employee right off the bat. Once again, we showed him what the issue was and he simply refused to lower the price. We asked to talk to he store manager which he refused. Then we asked for store information, which he refused before walking away with an attitude. Managers shouldn't treat paying customers in such manner. Absolutely terrible. I will never be returning to this Walmart while Austin is the Assistant Store Manager. read more

Let me begin by saying I hate grocery shopping! I especially hate shopping for holiday meals. My normal experience at Wal-Mart has been when an associate sees you looking at them like you need help they vanish into thin air. I also am handicapped and am in a scooter . I went to this store the Monday before Thanksgiving and was having my usual shopping experience when this lady associate approached me and asked how she could be of help? I told her what I was looking for and she said she would look for it. Thinking I'd been brushed off as usual I went on my way. Five minutes later she found me and asked if any of the boxes in her arms were what I was looking for? Sadly they were not but she just said I'll find it as she was asked for help by two other people. She stayed on my search 30 minutes making the man in charge of the department do his job and put the product out! The whole time she was helping me she helped at least 5 others. I was so amazed I asked her to tell me her name so I could call the corporate headquarters and tell them what a fantastic associate they had. Because of Ms. Angie Boxx I will now be a regular at this store. I wish Wal-Mart would get her to train all the people that work for them. read more

I had a horrible experience at this Walmart Pharmacy. My prescription was called in over an hour before I arrived to pick it up. The Pharmacy Tech first told me they did not have my prescription. After a while, they found the prescription. She then very rudely told me it would be 30 to 45 minutes. I asked why it would take that long because I was the only person anywhere in the pharmacy area. She responded "that is how much time we have to fill it and we are busy". Both she and the Pharmacist were talking away and taking breaks, etc. I asked if it made sense that I was the only one waiting and they had already had my prescription for over an hour and that it was a timely prescription that had to be taken within an hour of the procedure. It was clear they did not care. I believe if I had been African American I would not have been treated that way. A friend of mine said they were treated the same way in previous encounters with this pharmacy tech. read more
