But I was impressed with the beauty of this mall and the cleanliness of the streets. There were many stores and eateries to visit. The architecture was super cute and put me in mind of a little village. At the Coach store, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and I even received a 10% off discount after telling the cashier it was my first visit with them. There was a bigger selection here than what was at my store back home and the value at the Coach store is always worth the cost, depending on what's purchased. Biloxi is always a fun trip and I would visit this outlet again for my shopping needs when I return.

They recently built few electric charging stations in north east end of the outlet. A few new stores have opened and few stores have closed but still have the signs up. A little misleading. Even the website says it still around. Hopefully, it will be updated or they are closed for renovations? I found out they do not offer a food court anymore. Bloomingdale's is there instead. I was baffled when I walked into Bloomingdale's outlet. I thought I made a mistake. That would explain why they have a few food trucks on south side of the outlet. They also renovated the playground. I am not sure if they expanded it too? Please let me know? They do offer free Wi-Fi. I am not sure how the speed is? Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a good deal! Great selection for all. I am sure they have a store for someone in your party. Easy access off the highway. I-10 and highway 49 south. Just take the first right off Creosote Road. On 12/23/22, a cashier named Jade rudely "corrected" me at the register. The intercom directed me…read moreto register 7 and upon approach, Jade, at register 6 snapped that a customer was already standing at register 7. Why was this of any concern to her? I indicated to her that I was at the register per the intercom . However, she proceeded with her verbal rudeness. I stated to her that her behavior was unacceptable and I would not have approached the register without being called. She held her position and never apologized. Although the check out line was very long, while I was waiting, she stepped away from her register twice and proceeded to sigh and roll her eyes while discussing the "matter" with her peers. Jade then went to register 7 and "helped" with bagging. The customer line was still long while she again left her register unattended. Finally, she offered to ring up my items which I declined. Her rudeness was unbelievable. Prior to leaving, I spoke with the Coordinator and the Store Manager, though polite, neither appeared to take the matter very seriously. Extreme rudeness to the customer and leaving the register several times with numerous customers in line is totally unacceptable. This incident will be conveyed at the corporate level. I indicated to them that such combative staff behavior with some customers could place me and everyone else in the store at risk of harm. Some customers would have responded differently to such blatant rudeness and disrespect. I wish to shop as safely as possible with minimal risk of harm. I suspect Jade has been allowed to behave in this manner. Customer service at the Gulfport store needs serious work.

While this was a special misery, the aisles were clean and free from debris, and they had what I needed. Thankfully, we went on a weekday, so there was not much trouble. Seriously. We were in and out within a half an hour, so that is a small miracle and worth all 3 stars. The people watching was not fantastic during the middle of a weekday, but the service was quick. Service was sufficient. The parking lot is worse than the interior on a weekday. For a Walmart, being on pain killers is the way to go.

Granted, we came on a Wednesday late afternoon so I'd imagine the weekend will be a bit more packed. Coming from Los Angeles a metropolitan area, I'd have to say the Edgewater Mall is not bad and I'm sure back then it was really packed. Food court had decent amount of options including a Chick-Fil-A. Some stores were closed I'm sure due to the effects of the pandemic and online shopping. I ate at Big Ben's BBQ and it was alright. The cashier was on the slower side and I had to repeat multiple times of what I wanted on my burger. Overall: I would stop by Edgewater Mall again whenever I'm in Biloxi although I'm mostly going to do window shopping and just try different restaurants at the food court.

I was near the mall and it reminded me that I needed some new outfits. Dillard's to the rescue. This location is attached to a traditional walk around inside mall. Parking is easy since this is one of the anchor stores. There are several lots and none were particularly full. Inside the store had all of the traditional Dillard's things you already know about. I headed straight for the men's clothing. I was able to try on a bunch of stuff and find some jeans and plaid shirts that I purchased. I could have probably found clothes for less at other stores, but I was looking for a specific brand of jeans and they had them here. Check out was relatively painless and the cashier was friendly and professional. If you need to stay fly, check out Dillard's.
