This place is amazing. I come here almost once every week and now I've completely stopped going to King Soopers just to shop here for the Walmart experience. These people really love their job. Today, March 1, 2026 I went in for a vacuum because I broke my vacuum cleaning up my German Shepherd husky mix hair. I spotted the vacuum I liked, but it was in the wrong place priced wrong. I had to wait a day to calm down, cause this store is an outright abysmal experience, from the moment you walk in the door. First and foremost; Video games are pretty skimpy oitside Nintendo Switch, but there is no management inside the teeny-tiny electronics area that even had keys for any purchase or inquiry. However, it was the least of my worries. As I waited, a few young men who have obviously got to Colorado recently, started talking and pointing at me, it took a moment that I picked up that it was my height. So I called them out for their lack of respect for their fellow shopper. That simply made it worse, they started making gestures and raising their voices, which it took them making a scene to draw in management. When addressed, the management told me they don't plan on taking any neccessary actions cause "It's just their culture." Yeah, shocked me in that defense. So thanks for that defense, Rosa, for telling me mockery is okay if it's a foreign culture who exercises it. I dislike Walmart and avoid it. That being said, I needed eye drops (allergies) and Walmart was close to my office. Long story short, this has to be the most ridiculous Walmart I've ever seen. I had a hand full of items missing from my order. I didn't notice it until a couple hours later. Decent order. So when I picked up I couldn't remember everything. I started the return process on app. They asked for the items to be returned to the store. But I never got them. Called up the store talked to Mark the manager explained my situation. Don't buy food here. I just went to open the box of crackers I bought earlier this week. Highly advertised brand name. I lifted the box and the packaged crackers fell from the bottom. One of the individual packs was opened and a couple removed. So, someone played a little joke on a total stranger they would never see. I witnessed, one time, a guy open a box of ice cream sandwiches and take one. Not the whole box - just one sandwich. Put the box back. omg this store... where do I even start ok first off as soon as you walk up to the entrance there are people almost blocking the doors begging for money... once walking inside seems like every cart is broken and won't roll right.. as you enter into the store is seems like complete chaos.. the employees doing orders will literally run you over if you don't run out of the way. the store is very dirty and messy. the staff hardly greet you as you checkout. some of the checkout belts are broken so you have to push your groc up to the register... self checkouts are rarely open and finally once you start out the door there is always a massive line where they only have one door greeter "checking your reciept". also half the time the produce doesn't look fresh and the meat is almost gray.. don't even try to get someone from the bakery to assist you with a cake because you will wait a very long time for assistance. the majority of the associates speak Spanish and don't even understand what I'm saying if I'm asking for help. read more

I wanted to get out so badly, I had a dizziness from the dim blues and bright white lights. Yes, I thought I had developed Vertigo. There was once a moment where I saw the big screen televisions and thought it was black windows with the sliding door to get out and the only way out. WRONG. Literally, when I got close, I saw only tv's and more hoards of people. I was actually lost and didn't know my way out. Like imagine if there was a tragedy at Walmart like an earthquake or something and imagine hundreds of people without order, frantically running around and killing one another trying to figure out how to get out???!?! Like, that was my thinking when I was here. It's hard to exit at Walmart. WHY. Anyways, Becky, a sales associate taught me a trick to add an item on the Walmart website and then call ahead to confirm of stock availability and I managed to save headache by also seeing listings of Walmart who have the items in stock, and those who don't. Today, 7/23/22, I went to this walmart to see if they had the preservative free eye drops I always use because the walmart in my neighborhood was out. Supposedly, this walmart keeps their eye drop brands behind a locked glass door. Through the glass I viewed the brand I was wanting. Only one box left. There was a button nearby for me to ring for assistance. I rang it three times and no one came. I asked an employee in the Pharmacy area letting them know I need some help. She said I needed to go to the cosmetic department and ask someone there to unlock the glass door for me, so I did. One of the ladies from the cosmetic department opened the door and took the box of eye drops out for me. I reached for them and she would not hand them to me. She said I had to pay for them in cosmetics, and I said fine, but I needed to go pick up a few items first and then pay for them at the same time. It took me no longer than 10 minutes to get what I needed and then I went back to the cosmetic department to check out. When I got there, the woman said you were the one who wanted the eye drops, and I said yes, then she said, someone bought them already. Seriously!! I was gone for 10 minutes at the most. How many people happen to be checking out their purchase in cosmetics, saying, oh, I want those preservative free eye drops you have sitting on your counter too? Not sure if this woman made this up, and even if she did not, she should have communicated to all who were working in this small cosmetic department at the time that these eye drops are on hold, or at least tape a note to them. What a waste of my time!! I did not tell her, hold onto this and let me think about it. I said I would be back soon. She even said I could check my stuff out from the cosmetic department as long as it's no more than 20 items. The only process I know this woman knows of is: The customer has to pay for this pharmacy item in the cosmetic department and they cannot check out more than 20 items. Please walmart, put communication processes in place for your people and do not assume they know how to think ahead and be proactive. I decided not to buy the other few items I picked up and just left them at the cosmetic register. And I ended up driving to another walmart to pick up those items even if they didn't have the brand of eye drops I needed. Walmart at this location will not get my business ever again. And I might be only one person, but I know there will be more to follow due to your lack of process and service. This is a busy local Walmart, but I always have luck finding fresh produce and inexpensive items here. They have a nice selection of home wares and grocery, but not quite as good as the location on Tower Road. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. The location is clean and well kept. read more

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviewers. Walmart doesn't exactly set itself a high bar to clear, but this one is sub par even by Walmart standards. A lot of the problem is not the store's fault but rather a consequence of its patrons. There is perpetual loitering in and out of the store, large families stand in the middle of aisles completely oblivious to the people trying to get past them, and children run unattended up and down the aisles, laughing and screaming and picking items up as they go to deposit later on other shelves, other parts of the store, or on the floor. But the staff at this store do very little to try to keep the store organized. The lines are always long and slow. The checkout staff ranges from the occasional friendly individual to disinterested to downright hostile. The selection of clothes, housewares, and tools is paltry. It's also easy to forget this is a SUPER Walmart because the store itself is quite small. The garden selection is also quite meager compared to other Walmarts in Denver. One of thee worst Walmarts ive been to, the employees are miserable. I went into makeup grabbed my one item the woman behind the register made eye contact with me as i walked up and then she walked away to help another customer. Then she came back up to the counter with the other guests stuff in hand, watched the girl stand behind us in line (because thats how lines work) and gave us attitude and said "oh i guess shes going to let YOU go first" then scanned my one item and handed the bag to me with an ADDITUDEE. I visited this location yesterday. Haven't been here in years, always just felt dark, and dreary. The shelves were not all stocked, but I was surprised by all the assortment of finds. The quick trip, ended up being maybe 2 hours, lol. I am disabled, had a brain injury, so I forget and I lose things. I remembered I was supposed to get my son's hair products. I remember there being a big announcement being made about how the ethnic items are unlocked now. Left my cart in an isle, took me a minute to find the "beauty" section. I browsed the selection, retrieved some items, and was about to leave, when I wanted to be certain I could pay for them elsewhere. I asked, and the clerk said no, I had to pay for them there. I was taken aback, because I just heard her tell another customer, that she could pay for her items at any register, I won't say she was biased, or discriminatory, but ok. And she had a line. Two ladies came, asked for some cabinet to be unlocked, she said she would as soon as she was done with the line, but I don't think she wanted to move. She took other people after I paid and left with my stuff, line still growing, but oh well. Walking to my cart, then discovered, I did not have all my items I paid for, so I head back, she said oh I was gonna run behind you, she did not even call out, so I was already bothered by that interaction. Continued shopping, then try to find an open line to assist me. I had an overrun buggy. After not wanting to wait , and seeing the self checkout move faster, I said ok. So I go to this line. A lot of things in Wally World can be misplaced, have wrong tags, or have pricing missing. So I check prices by scanning items. My buggy was full. The area is small. But I was trying to make sure I got everything, stayed within my budget, and make room for new stuff, do the large items last, etc. So while ringing, I notice Aurora's Finest, ( I believed he was an officer, but I cant be certain, I remember a badge) come and stand and watch up front, but I ignored him, I just thought, oh he must have a suspect. So midway thru my items, I have the helper (a male CSM) come and remove some items from my want stack, the price check items, he just seemed irritated. I asked if he could price check the others, so he said ring them up, rudely, and walked away. Thought they had a price check system. Sorry. Kept ringing. Got assisted by a black lady this time for the other items, we interacted, I apologized, and she said oh your fine. So I finished, so I walked away to go get a coke, and something, now I noticed the cop is definitely STARING, at me. I found it amusing. So I go to pay, and I cannot locate my credit card. I remember it sitting on the counter by the scanner and now its gone. So I figured maybe I put it in one of my 20 bags maybe. So I start going through. I told the guy, I can't find my card, about to panic. He was unmoved and non sympathetic. after a few more bags, I tell the black lady, I misplaced my card, I had it sitting there the entire time. She immediately jumps into help mode, looked around the entire scanner, found it on the floor, and ok, NOW I can pay. So I pay for my items, and I am heading for the door, MAN this cop did 100 yard in 2.2 seconds, to stand behind the person checking the receipt, there were a few of us there, so he couldn't wait for my turn. So she checks the list, thoroughly, and she lets me go. Then I go into defense mode! No, not all black folks steal. While he watching my black butt, my white counterpart is robbing them blind! Not true, but now I see why people work in teams like that. What happened to sensitivity training. He missed that class! What happened to what we learned from George Floyd? Its just sad! I didn't know there was a time limit at self check out, and you are supposed to protect and serve, not profile and stereotype. I was so upset. This entire ordeal just left me so angry, appalled, and disheartened. I have lived here for 30 plus years, and it just seems the racism is more blatant, now more than previously. But Wal-Mart? Still the same old Massa mentality? The only reason I gave then a one, is because of the African American CSR who assisted me! Most of the time this store is an absolute disaster. They never have what you're looking for. If you do happen to find something there, be prepared to wait in line. This Walmart is seriously the worst, EVERY time I go to this Walmart the shelves are NEVER stocked or they have expired products sitting on the shelves that expired weeks ago. The worst experience ever at a Walmart. Waited over 25 minutes for someone to help me get a toy out of a locked area. Every person working there that I spoke with told me they didn't have keys. Some page people. Others said they paged a manager but still no one came. One employee even told me I'd get better service at Target. I placed a delivery order as I have several times since this pandemic started. Yesterday when I placed my order it never came. I reach out to customer service who said they tried to contact the store several times at no time did the store ever answer their phones. I attempted to call this store myself after Calling another location near me to see if they had my order the 1st or I called was very polite and offered to help me if I couldn't find an answer at the next door I called. I then proceeded to call exposition what a. After spending an hour and 45 minutes being Transferred to delivery and pick up and them never answering the calls I then Ask customer service to speak with a store manager instead... Several employees picked up several times at least 7 by different customer service people including a customer service manager. I was told that the manager was not on duty he was off. Funny that they said he was off today considering the store manager is a woman. None the less I proceeded To locate my missing order. This morning I decided that I would call the store and speak with the manager so that I could let her know about the experience that I had a her story yesterday and how appalled I was at the complete lack of honesty and customer service. After being transferred only 3 times this morning I finally spoke with Cassandra or Sandra the pick up and delivery manager after barely listening to me she finally said oh I Answered my phones all day in the back because I was on duty I also tried to cancel your order and pull it to my store. I asked her why she would lie to me because there's no way that she tried to cancel my order and have it transferred over to her store as no one could get ahold of her nor did I ever give anyone at that store mine name so how is it possible that that is even true. When being caught in a lie she decided her best thing to do would be to hang up on a customer. All I wanted was someone to understand that the struggle I had yesterday was not necessary and that people who are at and customer service desk should provide just that customer service not make me feel as though I'm a burden spending my money there or that no one can help me when a problem comes up. Closest Walmart closes to my home and honestly it seems they never are fully stocked on anything and the stockers are always out in the isles most definitely reminds me of the expectations of a small neighborhood Walmart not a super Walmart also I don't think they have anyone recovering items was looking for something in here before showed in stock online but could not locate the item and the parking lot is always jammed packed because of the garden items they have in the parking lot taking up a lot of the spaces I love Walmart but would be convenient to be able to shop at the closest. read more
