It's amazing to visit a relatively new Walmart. The floors are clean. The store smells new. I love the layout in general. I was shocked and excited in the food section that ANYTHING in a cooler in an enclosed space. It's simple yet genius at the same time. My favorite part about this place is the liquor store location inside the left entrance (I don't know, it could be west or north....just looking at the building it's on the left side). I tried to return a pair of pants. One employee told me I could. I came back an hour later with the pants and another employee refused to accept them. They were brand new. When I tried to talk to the manager, she yelled over me and was completely rude. Additionally, whenever I ask an employee where an item is, they never know. Cleanest, well organized, and surprisingly the best Walmart I've been to (after Santa Clarita, CA). Immense space and aisles of everything you need and more. At first you're hesitant to jump on the Walmart then you realize this Walmart is different than all others you've been to, it's clean and maintained! It's open 24 hours but even at a 3am run for pedialyte due to a sick child, the wee hours are still good and safe. Parking is plentiful and they even have the pick up section where you drive up and have your goods ready for you. It'll be interesting how this shopping area, Phase 1 of the overall Durbin Pavilion/TC will do. read more

I forgot a jacket not realizing how chilly it would be here while in the area for business. I had no problem finding this location. Also I found many great deals on women's AND men's jackets and long sleeve clothing. I was able to get several items that fit and looked good! Checkout was super quick I never even waited in any line. I would definitely visit this location again if I am ever back in the area and find I need something. read more

I understand the social distance and following the rules of getting in line to enter the store one by one. KEYWORD LINE! I went during my half an hour lunch to grab some items right quick, there was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IN LINE! to go into the store , the lady directing the (invisible line ) pointed me to go there anyways, so i did and went directly to the front the front of the line without walking the green mile first. She had a HISSY fit and told me i need to go and walk down the (invisible line just to come back where i was standing as the only person in line.) Car center is the worst, they told me tire would be a certain price and then when I'm looking at receipt it was a more expensive tire, I complained that they told me a cheaper price and they said they were out of the cheaper tire, they didn't even come and tell me that before putting the tire on, their response was from manager and other employee "we can take the tire of the rim and put the donut tire back on your vehicle" , mind you I bought all 4 tires there before and they don't care that you are a customer. read more

This Walmart is the worst for customer services. Tonight I waited in line for a coffee maker. I literally waited 25 minutes for I imagine the only manager in the damn store with codes. So as time went on... I was thinking ok be paitent and they are probably with someone. Nope, the guy who was trying to get to the back to get him 2x !! Finally comes out.. he is just casually walking with a cashier with a cash tray in her hand. The mgr wasn't even sorry !! The guy told the manager I was waiting that long and he didn't give a shit. This isn't my first rodeo with waiting there. Last time I waited 20m for a key to get an electric razor .. The registers are never open, they just down the "do it your damn self " lanes at 830. Then left only 2 open. Just ridiculous for a monster store that makes stupid money in our area!! Also, charges extra tax. I hate do do reviews. But I'm just fed up. read more

Worst stocked store ever - always out of 1/2 the stuff You need. No staff around either.

Today I was in the store, after a severe Covid-19 disease, I have a lot of consequences now, my ears can't hear well. I went to the store with my child. She's very restless. I bought diapers, meat, snacks for my son at school. I scanned all the positions. Paid $83. But I was stopped at the exit. It turned out that the chicken for $6 was not scanned. I don't understand how it happened. They have a video I scanned everything. I don't know why she didn't scan. But a man took my driver's license and said he would record me that I was a thief. I didn't steal, let them watch the cameras !!! I experienced a lot of stress. It's not my fault that the packaging of this chicken didn't work scan!!!! It's not my fault that the scan doesn't work, I paid for everything without any problems! But I was depressed, and felt like I was dipped in a bag of shit !!! Maybe because I don't speak English well !! This man scanned my driver's license, without police officers. And now I don't know how my personal information will be used! Be careful! read more

I was grocery shopping in the Walmart located at 845 Durbin Pavilion Drive in St. John's, Florida about 2:45 pm today, July 19, when I decided to purchase some Chicken Tenders from the Hot Food Section of the Deli. I approached the counter where I encountered a middle age man of non-American descent working the counter. I first asked the man if they had any fried chicken breasts. He stated that they didn't. I then asked to purchase 4 fried chicken tenders. The man proceeded to select two of the smallest tenders in the container. I then asked if I could get a few of the larger tenders. At that point, the man proceeded to throw the tongs into the container of chicken tenders, looked at me with disdain and said, in a nasty tone, "Which ones do you want?". I attempted to point out the larger tenders and he pretended that he couldn't see where I was pointing. He added two more tenders to the bag, for a total of four. He then put the price on the bag and PLOPPED the bag on the top of the counter. At that point, I picked up the bag and noticed that the price was $5.37 for 4 tenders, 2 of which were quite small. He then says to me in a very sarcastic manner, "Well, do you want them!". I then said, "No, I don't", put the bag back on the top of the counter and told him, "I don't know what your problem is, but I am going to report your nasty attitude to your Manager". He just smirked. I have been shopping at this Walmart at least twice a week since they opened two years ago, and have never encountered a nasty employee. In fact, the employees have always been courteous, and never fail to go out of their way to assist me. Before I decided to go to the Cashier to pay for my purchases, I decided to return to the Hot Food Counter to purchase my Chicken Tenders anyway. At that time, I found a very friendly lady working the counter. She filled my order, giving me 4 chicken tenders that were not the smallest ones in the tray. I told her about my earlier encounter with the rude guy and she pointed out the Manager, Tyler. I told Tyler about my earlier encounter with the rude employee, and he promised to address my concerns with the guy when he returned from his break. I can only hope that Tyler did address his rude behavior with him. It is clear that this guy, at a minimum, needs to be retrained and made aware that you don't treat customers in this rude, nasty manner. I don't think that this is the type of behavior that Walmart wants their employees to display to their customers. read more

We're in line with two people in front of us. It's 11:40. Two lanes open and both cashiers are slow. After waiting 20 minutes their register locks down for alcohol sales. I understand Saint johns wants to live like the Amish Country but not everyone works days. So I left $150 worth of groceries and wine on the belt and went and reshopped everything at Mandarin . This Walmart store is brand new! The store is very well laid out, clean, and well stocked. In my visit, I encountered several associates who welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed assistance. Extremely disappointed again. I have been watching the Durbin pavilion Walmart website for "in stock" items and every time i go they do not have it. I have asked several different employees for several weeks to look the item number up to verify the item I'm wanting is not in the back of the store warehouse and they say "we cant do that" literally every store like home depot or something has that capability to search for items and know exactly what aisle they are on. Yet here we are for over a month now looking for an "in stock" item at this exact location and its never there. I am told "it takes up to 48 hours for the website to refresh" this is not the case. I have been watching and following this items for too long. Something has to give. Extremely frustrated. read more

I ordered food on the app for pickup and the drive up workers were just plain terrible. They skipped me as i waited to attend to another vehicle and were very rude. The store is big it's like walking into heaven. Some of the workers don't seem very happy but for the most part great costumer service! Theres a wonderful very helpful young lady who works here.
