Tried to pickup an item at 11PM, counter was closed, it had a monitor showing a message: ' If counter is closed, find an associate to help you.' Asked an associate, she said 'nobody is around' and unplugged the screen that message did not show any longer. Aisles were a mess, employees were leaving boxes all over, they were just hanging around and waiting to punch out. Go to Teterboro Walmart instead, it is usually well organized and clean. read more

No one ever picks up the phone! It just keeps ringing and ringing. Next time instead of having my items from online shipped to store, I will have them shipped to my house because it is impossible to get someone to help you with your order. And when you finally do reach someone which is 1/10 times, they don't know what's going on. Walmart's online customer service sucks too... If you don't speak to the automated service, you're waiting on the phone for a live person for more than 30 mins. Yeah they have good prices but you def get what you pay for in service. read more

This Walmart is the best thing that has happened to this sleepy town. I love the box of eggs and mass quantities I can get on the cheap. Sometimes I even wander around and buy electronics or office equipment. The selection here is really nice. I get great frozen chicken here in 10lb bags. Great for the barbeque. read more

When I heard a Super Walmart was coming to Bayonne, I was thrilled, and waited over 18 months before I saw it being built. I was tired of having to go to Secaucus, NJ. But upon my first visit, I was DISGUSTED. First of all, it is not a super walmart, it is a super small walmart. Dimly lit and full of ill mannered cashiers and customer service. I have been reduced to going only in an emergency. I am so very disappointed. I once bought a bag of apples, they were all rotten. I have been treated professionally only by the pharmacy dept. I saw dog treats that were recalled being sold on a definite "clearance" type sale. I am ashamed of this Walmart. And ashamed that Bayonne has not demanded better. read more

Went to the Saddle Brook NJ Walmart yesterday to buy a few things including a box of Atkins protein bars. I had a coupon for a free box of any Atkins bars as I had won a contest and received several coupons for their product. The coupon was valued UP TO $9.99. The box I wanted was $7.48. Seemed like a no brained.... FREE BOX. They did not honor my coupon. Funny thing is last week I got a box that was $9.88 and they took the coupon for that! SMH.... I really think I should call corporate about this store.... read more

Terrible. The customer in front of the enormous line forgot something so he ran to get it which took 5 minutes... Meanwhile the cashier just sat there while he still had 50 other things on the conveyer that could have easily just been rang up. NEVER HAS ANY LINES OPEN EITHER. If I could rate it 0 starts I would. The customer service in this Walmart is TERRIBLE. I was at the photo center and there was nobody to help me, so I looked for the nearest associate and asked if she could get someone in the photo center. She answered me with "why don't you ask him?" (Pointing to another associate) I walk over to another associate and his response was "I work electronics not photo center I don't know what to tell you". At this point I was furious. i love having a 24 hour super walmart near me and i'm so glad this place opened up last year! i don't go as often as i like, but if i am driving by, i always need to go for a visit, even if i don't have anything to buy. the huge plus is that they're open 24 hours. i almost always come out with something. i like to see what's on sale and i love how they have the fresh produce/fruit section is right on the right side when you walk in. albeit however, they don't always have the best deals, but i still like having it there. i would recommend going at odd hours because it's less crowded and it's like having the store to yourself! i also love how they're so close to sonic, the bayonne cruise port and goodfellas. bayonne is definitely going to become something in the next few years. read more

On a recent visit to the Walmart Supercenter on 12/3/12 @ 10 pm (500 Bayonne Crossing Way- New Jersey) I was appalled at the condition of the store. The person in charge of this store should be reassigned for lack of competancy. A store that calls itself a Supercenter should have items on the shelves to sell. Most of the shelves throughout the store were empty, and I mean EMPTY! I checked various sections of the store just to see if there was anything that I could buy. The childrens section for pajamas (EMPTY) The peanut aisle (EMPTY) breakfast cereal (EMPTY) lettuce (EMPTY) milk (EMPTY) frozen food (EMPTY) Poptarts (EMPTY). Too many empty shelves to even name. Things thrown all over and out of place. Frozen foods defrosting on shelves. I could only manage to spend $52 which has never happened in my lifetime. I usually spend upwards of $250. A DISGRACE at this store. It should be remamed Walmart Express. My neighborhood corner store has more items on the shelf than this pathetic so called Walmart. To top it off there were more cashiers closing lines than there were lines open (only 3 lines open). The CEO of Walmart needs to make a surprise visit to this location and make some heads roll. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS WALMART AGAIN BASED ON MY RECENT VISIT. read more

I had the worst experience in my life in this store that made me took the decision to don't come back again, I use to spent a lot of money buying from Walmart.com because I preferred online that go to the store, it's easier for me. On March 11,2016 I made an order online to pick the items at the store. I received an email that informed me,that my items were ready to pick it up. First ,when I went to the store to pick them up, they told that was a mistake ,they don't have my item, my husband upset about this situation went to check if the item were at the shelves , he found one of the items that we bought online at the store, I was busy at the phone and a new employee from pick up charge my husband more money that the money he supposed to match with my order online because they said my item was not available. After we leave the store we received another email telling as that the other item was available to pick up too. We come back to the store for this email and because the employee charge us more money,without match the item online price. At that time on March 11, started a nightmare, the new employee made a void of the item that I bought from the store, this void never go thru but they keep telling until yesterday, after three or four times going and come back to the store that they can't gave me the refund because they refund me already, I called the credit card like three times, I called customer service too and nobody was available to help me to take my refund back to my credit card. At that point Walmart.com informed me that my order was lost on the transit to the store, my order never was available for me to pick it up. I have to buy the other item from Amazon, then at that time I was only interested to take my money back to my credit card, they treat me like shit at this store , the assistant manangers names, Mr. Junior , Ms. Stephany and Ms. Gloria from my point of views as the customer they are not prepared to treat with customers, they think you are a lier, I tried to explained them in different ways that I never received my refund from this order, they went to the back of pick up kiosk apparently to call wartmart.com, but Iam sure they never called them, they like to play with the customers money. After ten days of my purchased online yesterday, March 21 I came back to the store, but I have again an argument with them because they keep saying that I already have my refund. ms. Stephanny one of the assistance manangers was the worst , she don't know nothing about education neither, I was trying to explained them that they made a mistake but they don't listening ,just that, you the customer are always wrong in this store. After many calls and visits to the store, Iam calling Walmart.com like 5 times, they informed me yesterday that I need to wait one more week from them to give me a refund from Walmart.com, but Walmart.com in the beginning sent an email to me ,informed me that they don't give a refund , the store was responsible for that. Now Iam waiting from my refund from Walmart.com, from the seven to 10 more days,to see if they are not liying too. Without-a-doubt the WORST Walmart, actually the worst store in general, that I've ever been to. It's fairly new, and yet the stores layout makes no sense, its small and it's supposed to be a super Walmart, the workers are never doing their jobs, usually just walking around bullshitting with eachother, TERRIBLE customer service, they never have any registers open so you end up waiting on line for 20-30 min. every single time, and good luck every trying to call because they'll just hang up on you. I shop at Walmart all the time, but I avoid this store at all costs unless I absolutely have no other choice. It's ridiculous to me that management allows it to be so horrible. read more

I bought a DVD and an I phone case from Walmart today (DEC 1,2013 about 6:00 pm.) When I handed the receipt to the lady inspector she asked me "Did you pay for the make up you put into your pocket?" I was shocked! Make up in my pocket?! I have nothing in my pocket except my car keys! So I told her. "What's wrong with you?! You can check my pocket!" and she said " No it's ok, it"s ok" I got really upset. As I was driving home I realized that maybe it's Walmart's style to ask random customer wearing make up that question to catch shoplifters. And of course if you took something you'll say. I pay for it. And they will check the receipt if there's cosmetics in there. Anyways, It's a big insult for costumer like me who's working real hard, and who have money to spend. I will still go to that store, videotape everything and if it happens again, I'll call the police. And they'll be all over you tube. read more

As of July 2015 Walmart decided to STOP "24-hr" hours at its extremely convenient Secaucus location situated in Hudson County, which does not have outdated "blue laws". Instead the tiny brains at Walmart corporate will keep the Garfield and Saddle Brook Walmarts open 24-hours. But there's a catch... Both of these Walmarts are in Bergen county, which still has "blue laws" for some reason. This means that if you need to buy any kind of clothing on a Sunday -- including socks, underwear, shoes, hats, coats, baby clothing, etc. you won't be able to do that at the Garfield and Saddle Brook Walmarts. Even if it's 2:00 AM Sunday morning and you need a t shirt, you aren't going to buy it at these stores, but you used to be able to buy ANYTHING at the Secaucus location because it's not in Bergen county. So why are the leaving 2 inferior locations open 24/7, and limiting the hours of the more useful Secaucus location? Wait until customers visit these two locations @ 1:00 AM Sunday and find out they can't buy a bra, jeans, or sneakers... Obviously Walmart management wants to be less convenient and lose business. Hope Target realizes what's going on and starts opening some locations 24 hrs.... read more
