Well it's been a while since I have entered this location, there has been a couple of major changes for the better, so that's a plus, there are more attendants now at the self checkout area, so that's good, most of the aisles are well stocked as well, however it's a really busy store and it does get crowded from time to time, but there is plenty of ample space to walk around and get whatever you need, so it's a recommended store to shop in: NEW UPDATE: Stopped by here earlier today and noticed more changes, they definitely moved some stuff around, I think it was inventory week or something, overall, it's still a decent place to do some quick shopping needs... read more

Average Walmart. Yes, there are absolute dumpster fire Walmarts and there are ones that aren't too bad. This one isn't too bad. If you've been to one Walmart, you've basically been to them all with stock, layout, and prices. I didn't have any interactions with employees - which is fine by me. What I did see, they were the usual lethargic, unfriendly types. The parking lot is pretty big, so you shouldn't have an issue finding a spot. This Walmart shares the land with other businesses, so something to keep in mind. If in the area again and needing a Walmart, there's plenty worse than this out there. read more

Walmarts in Texas are well run , clean , organized well stocked and pleasant to shop in . Walmarts in NJ are dumpy, low stocked , and chaotic . Items are locked up and trying to find someone to open the cabinets is slow . Returns are stressful. Saddle Brook location could be so much better. The location is not most desirable on Rt 46 jammed with traffic . Garfield and Riverdale locations are so much better . read more

The customer service in this store is ridiculous. I literally called 5 times - 3 to online pick up and twice to customer service and the moment it rang they put me on hold for 5 minutes until I hung up and called back. I finally reached someone in Customer Pick up who barely spoke English and gave me a number to call about my order. When I called this number I received a recording that the party was not accepting calls. Will not be recommending this store to anyone I know to shop here. The absolute worse!!!! read more

The Walmart store in White Plains that Facebook has been advertising has been closed for five years!!!! Why do you still list it????? In addition, when I call customer service for anything, they put you on hold for at least 5 to 10 minutes....I usually hang up after that and when I call back, I get someone that doesn't speak any English or if he does, you can't understand him....I know that things are bad all over, but can't you get someone that speaks English for the money you pay them?????? I was scanning items on the self service. Went there at 8:45. There was a Hispanic female worker with dyed red hair and we asked her why an item on the app said one price but it ringed out $15+ more when we checked out. She gave a bs excuse and walked away from us. She said something about that it's not this stores price even though on the app we had it for this location. When i told my husband should we not take it? She came by snatched it out of our hands and walked away. What kind of service is this? Stopped by to grab a couple of items .... went to buy coffee creamer and was greeted with a horrible smell from the fridges upon opening. I looked down and a ton of mold! I admit it, I'm a Walmart shopper. That's because I love good deals! The prices are a lot better here than other stores, especially for name brand drugstore toiletries. As for the things you can only buy here, not so good quality, in my experience. I bought a $5 kitchen rug here once and that was all it was worth. I threw it out after a few weeks. I also bought a box of saltine crackers that had the inside plastic all chewed up. That was really awful. Another thing, they need to do something about their lack of inventory. The shelves were often empty for some items. They were out of club soda. They had no Maybelline Baby lips left. The ladies restroom is gross too. In need of a good scrubbing. read more

Manager on duty was horrible. "Roxana" (red haired woman) refused my returns even though it was within 2 days of purchase and I had the proper paper receipt. Apparently unused Christmas items are FINAL SALE. Extremely rude, unprofessional, walked away from us as we were talking to her. Never in my life have I encountered such a person like this working as a superior in a multi million dollar company where I shop at weekly. Over an hour and I have not been able to get a single person on the line to discuss the status of my order, which, mind you, is over one week late even though the post office says it was delivered to the store. Walmart never minds troubling customers. Now they have a super stupid design: lock cheap things up. Very cheap stuff, such as toothbrushes, cold pills, etc. Just a few bucks. Wanna to buy? Press the ring to call their staff. There are numerous locks but very few staff. Keep on pressing the ring for 5 minutes, and no one shows up. I go to Walmart for the pharmacy. I go to the pharmacy for my dog. Stella is diabetic and her insulin is $24 at Walmart and $125 at CVS. Her syringes are 100 for $60 at CVS and $25 at Walmart. It is this savings that garners them a 2 Star review. If they were not ridiculously cheap I would never set foot in there and would rather stick a fork in my eye than have to deal with them. Negative Stars anyone? The process is tedious and I think that's understating it a bit. If you need to wait for a prescription, there is no paging system and no separate line. If they tell you it's going to be say 15 minutes and you return in 20, you have no way of knowing whether it's actually ready until you've waited in line yet again and deal with the clerk who's clearly pissed off seeing you again. The rest of the staff may be helpful but I can't actually comment one way or the other because the woman at the register mumbles and the pharmacist's accent is so heavy that I have no idea what the hell she's talking about. But again, they are substantially cheaper than any other pharmacy for those things so I grit my teeth and return every other month. Maybe if they pass out Xanax it would be more pleasurable. I would suggest it but again, there's no way the pharmacist would know what I was talking about and even if she did, I would have no way of understanding her answer. Uggggggg. read more

Walmart People Alert! I noticed some deals: Coffee maker - $8.74 for 5 cups machine. I am waiting for the day that they sell a 6.68 coffee maker designed for 2 cups. The extra 3 cups implies that I am going to share with another individual. Pssh...sharing aint caring. Folding table tray for around $11- It did not come with a small chair as I felt like a giant next to the table tray. Adjustable legs is your solution... Blender for under $22- ugh, I am waiting for the day for programmed cocktails. Why you hide the chicken? This Walmart is decent if you need something quick. I recommend the one in Garfield over this one, because they 24 hours. Pro Tip: Don't try to buy clothes on a Sunday because it is against the law for stores to sell clothes in Bergen County. I couldn't believe it. I needed a new outfit because I was eating spaghetti and meatballs and I got the sauce all up on my shirt and pants. The employees at this location are unbelievably rude! I ordered something for pickup from the photo department, and there was no one there. After requesting an employee at the electronics department TWICE to call someone with a dismissive response, someone came who proceeded to take people who were not in line before me. I had to wait for 25 minutes for ONE photo which I had already paid for, all with unbelievably rude service. To make it worse, the picture I had ordered (a 20 inch by 30 inch poster) was completely ruined. There were splotches all over the poster, and the employee admitted that the picture had been messed up by the person who printed it. There is no focus on customer service, and I definitely will not be ordering pictures through Walmart or shopping at this Walmart again. read more

I used to prefer coming here over the newer location in garfield, as it is usually less crowded. Sadly it seems everyone else now has the same idea. It would be nice if they could implement a rule stating not to bring your entire family shopping!! Maybe limit it to no more than a party of 5. I saw groups of extended family. This is not the best walmart around. I like the one in Garfield much better because its a little bigger and has more variety. This walmart didn't have a big selection of certain things like tea, arts & crafts, and other things. They did have a decent selection of toys and some foods like cereal and sodas though! This store has a huge selection of items to purchase. I picked out many food items and the grass-fed, organic, low-fat ground beef is excellent and reasonably-priced! They also have a nice selection of high-quality fishing equipment and tackle! The employees were polite, efficient, helpful, personable, and professional! My experience here has been fair with no problems. Parking's ample, this place is easy to find. There's something to be said about any store being attached to a subway.. everything in the store ends up smelling like subway.. This is the epitome of dysfunctional. The so much disorder and unpleasantness, that I would rather so to a landfill and make a purchase! The employees run away when they see you approaching them with a question, let alone if you are capable of breaking through the throngs of people. The customer service area is a disaster that looks worse than if a teenager's room threw up! I wish I didn't have to give this Walmart 1 star. I was really surprised that this Walmart was so disorganized and dirty. Parking isn't that easy depending on what time of day and what day you go there. You could be riding around the parking lot for awhile. Around the nail polish display there is nail polish smeared all over the shelving...how does that happen? Doesn't staff see what's going on? The same thing has happened around the fabric paints, there is layer upon layer of paint that's been squirt all over the counters. Clothing is a little better but still clothes strewed around. Customer Service/Return employees are so very rude and condescending as if you are taking up their precious time and they are doing you a favor by even looking at your face when you talk. Most of the time they dont answer your questions and when they do, they are angry and dont even look at your face so you dont understand what they are saying. Crossword Puzzle Time What's a 7-letter word for zoo? As I walked in and had to merge with 5 other carts, I knew I was in for an experience. The produce section looked like it had been raided by the survivors of a zombie apocalypse (produce bins were empty, things looked wilted/bruised, or were passed their "best if used by" date). I moved into the meat section and found one package, not the four I intended to get, of chicken wingettes - I didn't realize they were in such high demand. I masterfully maneuvered my cart through all of the double / triple parked carts, stalled carts, and unbehaved kids running in and out of aisles. I spotted my coconut water of choice and maintaining the theme of the day, it was on the top shelf and about 18 inches deep. I knew when to call it a day. The store was a mini-Walmart lacking space, variety, stocked shelves, or that 'Walmart identity'. I was hoping to be swayed by their low prices, but I'll keep my Target in Jersey City. I've never liked this WalMart but it's usually because of the clientele, not the staff. Today was different... I needed a game out of the locked case and waited while the associate and his associate friend were smacking each other in the aisle. When they finished their roughhousing, I asked the one that came toward me if he could get the game out of the case for us, and his response? "I'm punching out for lunch, ask that guy over there," gesturing 50 feet away to another associate who was already helping someone else. Now, not only is that the worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time, but it's also a great way to get customers to park their cart with $200 worth of stuff in it, and walk right out. I did an in store pickup for an item, which was a really quick process (although on opposite end of store from the customer service). So if there is like...one thing you want to get, it's a good option to do pick up in store. I've done some regular shopping here before and it's fine. There's plenty of parking.
