These Amazon Fresh locations are popping up now. This location in Lodi, I was surprised to see when you enter, the cart is weighted. As you approach the items, you scan it and view it on the screen. The aisles were organized and clean. When you want a specific item, more likely, you will see different varieties from the item. Sometimes, it helps when you're indecisive, and you know your options are open. We met a friendly employee, Kevin, when we entered Amazon Fresh. He was very informational, recommended nearby deals and informed us about coupons. Overall, good late night walk around. Parking lot is connected to a shopping center. I go here because it's right up the road but they're always low stock, shelves half empty, fruit is usually rotten and the staff here are miserable. They have no idea how to check you out either and will scan things multiple times obliviously. Check yourself out, you'll do a much better job than these miserable store clerks. If you need a quick item while returning something to Amazon, okay stop here but otherwise this food store is pretty terrible. read more

Happy that this Amazon Fresh finally opened! I saw signs for it maybe about a year ago, but then the opening was squashed. I guess another agreement was reached because they are now open (as of August 2024). I went on the opening day in the late afternoon and it wasn't that crowded for a grand opening. There were so many deals that day and we mostly we able to pick up everything we wanted. Prices vary - some items are super expensive, but some are cheaper than regular supermarkets and as I mentioned, you can find some good deals here ($4.99 salmon, and $1.99 ground beef, anyone?). I also used this opportunity to make a few Amazon returns. Only one person was working that register at the time but another soon came to help out as a line started forming. I'm just glad that I no longer have to trek to the Paramus Amazon Fresh location to do returns. The Lodi location has checkout carts. You log into your Amazon account and scan the items with the cart, then drop them in. At the end, you check out on the computer on the cart, go to the specified line, and an employee will just verify your purchases. It was a fun experience. They do have regular carts and regular check out lines if you do not wish to do this. Looks like the Aldi next door is going to have some competition! read more

Salad bar is full of variety but you should go during lunch time its at the freshest peak. Tons of parking in a strip mall. Nice addition to the community. Coolest thing is the self checkout device! We used the self checkout cart which was interesting . You have to scan each item before putting it into your cart. It worked seamless for us. The easiest part was rolling through the checkout without having to stop to check out because the payment is attached to the card on the your Amazon account. I am so happy I restarted my subscription to Amazon Fresh! While I'm not a fan of being a Prime Member and having to pay a separate fee for groceries, I still feel the prices and quality of the groceries was worth it! I was able to get pre-pack salads for my daughter in flavors she loves like Chicken Caesar, Chef Salad, and even a yummy flavor like Walnut Cranberry Chicken! The eggs, milk, bananas alone are great prices and quality! I can get my groceries quickly, with as small as a 1-hour delivery window. Not bad! Bottom line, for quality, speed and good prices, I'd recommend giving Amazon Fresh a try! I think you'll be pleased as well! read more

Seriously. I order delivery, I get a text like TWENTY MINUTES before scheduled delivery that the delivery guy is unable to find my address. No one has been unable to find my address, certainly not the past several delivery people from Amazon Fresh. Then the delivery guy shows up, delivers only one of two bags on my front steps which is certainly quite accessible, and I get a text claiming that only partial order was delivered because the other part of the order was undeliverable or refused at the door. Well I certainly didn't refuse it, and if he could get one bag onto my front steps, what was the particular challenge with the other? I go on to the Amazon app looking for an option to get help, but when you click on that option for that particular order, it brings you to nothing related to that order itself. So after some fumbling around on Google, I managed to find the help phone number for Amazon Fresh. I speak with the guy, he definitely understands, he says that he will get a replacement order out to me right away for the missing items. he works quickly, I get a text stating that they are working on the order, I get another text stating that it is out for delivery, then I get another text stating that my order has been canceled. And as I had emphasized to the person when I called, that half happened to be my dinner plans and it's now past 10 pm. I don't know if these people are stupid or stoned, and I've got nothing personal against either characteristic but at the same time, it most certainly shouldn't be my problem. Having somebody follow a grocery list and deliver it to a provided address in this day and age of GPS should not even require adult supervision, a GED, maybe not even a state of complete sobriety, to have successfully performed. However, it is my impression that Amazon, particularly in its delivery from this particular store, really needs to get their house in order. And I went to call back about it, but after sitting on hold for a while longer yet again, I figured the hell with it. They've simply lost a customer. If you want to roll the dice, go right ahead, but I personally cannot recommend it. Don't place a delivery order if you are counting on it for your meal that day. Me? I'm done. Trying to place a delivery grocery order should not result in two little juice for the squeeze. I could completely understand, and always have, when an item or four are unavailable, out of stock. It would be nice if they did a better job keeping there inventory data in order, but I'm not going to grumble about that, the same thing would happen to me if I was the one going to the grocery store doing the shopping, you know? But not getting the full order of everything that was in stock to my house as selected from THEIR options? TWICE in one night? And the fact that I should not have to be wasting my time with a customer service on something like this? Done done done. They would have to wave one hell of a carror in front of me really making it worth my while to give them another shot and not share with people this frustratingly preposterous experience, and I don't think I'm just "hangry" right now, but I darn well shouldn't be hungry right now and having to figure out something else to do for dinner because an order placed FOUR hours ago of items that were in stock packaged to be delivered - TWICE - somehow never found their way to my ungated front steps. read more

Very Fresh as advertised fruits and vegetables. There meat is not over priced. The best tasting rotisserie Chicken I have ever tasted. The store is spotlessly clean. They have many people filling pickup an delivery orders but not enough workers at checkouts and they give you free bags if you need and ask. read more

I heard so many great things online about this place and it was so hard to get a reservation that my hopes were high. Unfortunately the experience was awful. Starting with the charge on my credit card to make a reservation. Next was the constant text messages and emails that came after, I'm suddenly getting a bunch of spam after signing up on the reservation site for dick pills and fake Elon Musk Products. Upon arrival I was greeted by about 5 staffers who hung around the middle of the room drinking soda from a red solo cup and talking the whole time. When the server approached to take the order she couldn't answer any questions ab the menu ( she didn't know what sashimi was) and another boisterous gentleman came to take over her job. The menu was odd, if you're looking for a sushi experience you came to the wrong place. some of the food was very good but given the quantity, it was over priced. In addition to the poor service and cheap decor they nickel and dime you by add a surcharge for using a credit card ( who carries cash) and the payment system defaults to a 23% tip that includes the surcharge and tax. Keep delivering to wrong address. They cancel orders because of drivers incompetence. I guess they can't read, and they don't notify you of cancelation.
