As I went to check out I noticed that the price seemed high and noticed I was charged an extra $1.62 for the coffee, I told the "manager" standing behind the register that he charged me twice and he said " I know because you got the wrong cup the cup is only for soda here" I proceeded to say you cannot do that, that your company is literally saying its for "iced coffee" ,"slurpee", "super big gulp". after arguing over this, he took the extra money off but continued to tell me that's not what the cups are used for. I said again " you cannot make the rules of what your corporate company states is coffee cups or any kind of cup that states what it should be used for LOL" BEST PART THOUGH- on both doors exiting/ entering the store, both have big large signs that say stay 6ft apart and wear you mask properly, along with a picture of how your mail should be wrong at all times. this "manager" began to make faces and was MOCKING me because I told him he needs to wear his mask properly like everyone else in the store was doing. HE THEN told me that he was vaccinated and it didn't pertain to him. this is when I got really offended- we are in a world wide pandemic and the rules of THE STORE HE RUNS clearly stated EVERYONE must wear a mask. he finally put it on until I was satisfied but took it down back below his nose when I turned my back to check. THIS IS A WORLD WIDE PANDEMIC WE ARE STILL LIVING IN AND WHEN A CUSTOMER HAS TO REMIND THE "MANAGER" TO WEAR HIS MASK PROPERLY AND MOCKS THAT CUSTOMER FOR ASKING SO THIS IS NOW A CORPORATE ISSUE. how dare the manager of a store ridicule a customer for wearing his mask properly, where the rules are given to the store he manages from a CORPORATE level, AND IS SHOWN CLEARLY BEFORE YOU WALK IN. I have to say most of the employees are great accept the tall Indian guy, he can't get your money right then acts like it's your fault when he doesn't give the proper change back or doesn't handle a CC transaction correct he starts speaking to you in a foreign language and I have to keep repeating myself that if he is going to speak about me it must be in English... I always have someone else rig me up as I see him have the same issue with other customers... I believe he needs to be retrained on the register and he'll will break loose if he has to handle both the lottery ( I don not play ) and the register WHOA watch out... Always count your change regardless and be mindful of getting a receipt

It's a solid deli/convenience store where you can get a good breakfast sandwich and coffee in the morning. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. You pick your bagel from the bread bin in front of the deli station, and hand it to the man behind the deli counter. I like their Hazelnut coffee. Pretty good and gets me through the day!

That's pretty accurate. The workers don't look happy, but they are busy. There's usually 2 cashiers up front. The younger lady that looks to be in her 30's will at least speak. The other cashier looks like a sweet old grandma, but is surprisingly rude. In my experience, she doesn't speak when I say hi, I'll ask for a bag and she'll place it on the belt instead of my outstretched hand, she doesn't say thank you. At first I thought maybe she's just tired and having a bad day. Nope. Been in the store several times since and noticed grandma picks and choose who she's going to bless with a little customer service! I've seen her smile and talk up some, while stone face ignoring others. Even if grandma is a little crotchety at times, I am glad to see she's still out here being active and working.

Just the basics: milk, yogurt, honey, fruit and that's about it. Since the whole large chain supermarket thing annoys the crap out of me, I search for solutions. Convenience stores are fine but if you're looking for produce, they're not going to cut it. So those times when I need to stock up without really stocking up, I hit up Kilroy's. They are a small but well stocked mini supermarket that also sells booze. Their prices are.....Well, I don't really know because it's the only place I ever shop. I assume that they're higher than say, Shop Rite but I'm not sure and for me, convenience is number 1. Parking is easy and they are never, ever crowded. Worth mentioning is that if you're looking for a deli counter or elaborate prepared foods, look elsewhere; Maywood Market for example. If you need variety and like to pick and choose amongst multiple brands and sizes, again, not your best choice. But if you need to get the basics, they really can't be beat. My go to place because I really go to no place else.
